Just wondering what everyone else thought of the finale! I was shocked when Holly was voted out, did not see that coming I guess, but it was smart.
Very happy Fabio won this season. I hated him at the start of the season, but by the time we got to the end, I was cheering for him.
But a great finale, I thought, just wondering everyone else thoughts!

I thought it was a great program too......and felt about the same way about Fabio as you.......didnt hate him at the first.......but he grows on ya.

I loved the Finale! My favorite player Fabio won and Sash whom I didnt like at all ...got nothing!

The only part good about the finale is when Jane was announced as the Sprint Player of the season and no one even came close to her.
And Redemption Island? I'm skeptical. But i'll not judge as of now yet. :cmas16

Fabio confirmed the votes in one of his interviews today is how I found out.

I started wanting to see Fabio as a possible winner when he was the first on Le Fluer to show signs of actually playing the game of Survivor. He played the fool brilliantly, making friends with everyone, staying out of entanglements, and by the time he started to win those ICs he was my pick to win.
It made for an interesting season. As to the Redemption Island twist for next season, it reminds me more of (Real World/Road Rules) Challenges over the last few years.

I think he played a great game and didn't have to hurt or backstab anyone to do it.
I was really surprised how close the vote was. When Chase went ahead in the vote count I was like "oh NOOOO"
but then FAbio got the rest of the votes and won!!
I think it is great that Sash got no votes at all
I was surprised at how spiteful Dan was tho. Where the heck did that come from? He did nothing but expected to win :cmas12 I don't THINK so
After Jane went bat **** crazy out there I didn't think she would win viewers fav but she did. Okay, I can deal
Naonka was calm. How many people think she was drugged?? I sure do :xmas49
Redemption island looks really weird. Not sure i'm going to like this but we'll see

The viewers loved how she went "bat **** crazy" against a bunch of.... whatever. The only person who deserved to win besides Jane is Fabio and i'm glad it happened. I'm not a Fabio fan, but he's a deserving winner. :cmas16

This was a great season! My favorite won, Jane won the fan favorite and Sash didn't get a single vote. My only regret is that Jimmy Johnson left too soon. :reindeer

It was a pretty bad season for me. Negativity throughout. Jane was the only reason why i kept on watching. When she got voted off, i fast forwarded through the finale.

They should have never done the age segregated tribes. That was a disaster from the get-go. Once they got past that mess, they adjusted somewhat nicely. I do agree about the negativity. NaOnka, two quitters, etc. really soured a lot of this season.
I was pleased with the final three though. I was glad to see three people who actually played the game. I was worried that Dan would "coast" into the final three, but he was voted out.
Speaking of Dan, what was the deal with his edit? He was basically a mute throughout the whole season until his remarks after being voted out and then in the tribal council. Dang.

I hated the old versus the young, age segregated tribes. It was a strange season, people quitting, and I'm glad to see that if it ever happens again they won't be allowed to be on the jury.

I think they will do a America's vote in future.. but still, the odds of 2 jury members ever quitting again in a season is zero.
And with this, i think they're definitely going with a 9 member jury in future... if they do 7.. they might be short of votes.

Just an interesting thought, if NaOnka and Purple Kelly were not allowed to vote, Chase would have won Fabio 4-3. :snicker:

I still can't believe they got a great vacation out of quitting the game. What a great life lesson! I'm so glad they have changed the rules. B:)
