Our market worker gave us a detailed list of the arrival order for this task, although he left at about 2, he believes teams arrived till about 4AM.
Thanks to him, krabbe and Pramararama, we have a pretty good idea of the arr order!--peach
I'll translate:
1st team to arrive was team malaysia. a chinese & malay guy. wow, the chinese guy was a beast. after wolfing down a bowl with 50 meatballs, he asked for more. 3 times.
2nd team, 2 hot girls. looked chinese. one looked like a tomboy. then,
3rd team, 2 indian guys.
4th team, 2 indian girls. then,
5th team i couldn't really tell, but it was a guy-girl team. looked korean. then,
indonesian team. looked like daughter n father.
lastly, 2 white guys, dunno from where..
He also says this:
6th team, 2 girls. they r so so so so hot. one of the member is a white girl and the other one is american-filipino
i'm going to interprate this one..well, i'm just trying here :)

actually i'm a worker in the market. i did saw 7 teams before i leave the market. the 7th team that managed to arrive is about 1.30am. their task is to eat 200 chicken meatballs.

16 Travel to the TAR Marine Park is easy as hourly speedboat rides can be caught at the Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal in the northern end of Kota Kinabalu, along Jalan Fuad Stephens. Prices are fixed: It costs RM17 per person for each island visited (return to Jesselton Point included). A compulsory Tariff Fee of RM6 pp must also be paid at the Jesselton Point Terminal before departing. A RM10 pp Environmental Conservation Fee is payable upon arrival to the first island of the day. Each additional island you want to visit will cost an extra RM17 pp. Boats depart every hour to the island of your choice, with earliest departure at 7:30am and last departure at 4:30pm. The last return boats are at 5:00pm. The trip takes 15-20 minutes depending on the island. For unscheduled trips, you can charter a boat starting at about RM200. 17 Sapi is like Manukan, but smaller and is the second most developed and popular island in the park. Surely you jest. You certainly know that Kuala Lumpur is inland and cannot be reached by cruise ship. The idea of a moving pit stop, used in Vietnam on a smaller scale, may have been used here. However. where would a cruise ship go in 12 hours? One possibility is that could just reach Singapore if steaming at 20 mph and teams not spread out too much.

A Cruise ship moves very slowly, to allow the passengers to in Singapore speak, "enjoy life". The probably of it traveling to Singapore is very remote, unless TARA somehow found a way to charter the whole ship. Probably it will dock at some port near KL....

Yes, it was a preview for ep.2. A team went to the cockpit and told the pilot that they should beat the next aircraft (airasia). And Yani scared to death to the snake. Sorry, there was nothing more i can draw.

Claire and Michelle, 275 chicken balls. Now, that's the SINGAPORE SPIRIT. :lol: :hearts:
But the Roadblock was a good one, only to be hampered by bad planning. Errr, just let the teams keep trying until they get it? What's with one try and then 4 hour time penalty? It's practically stupid. It made the end TOTALLY EXCITING *smell the sarcasm*.
It was pretty unfair that there was only one try... what's with the one try. Production cost too expensive for more oxygen tanks used? Lame.
Loved Kota Kinabalu. Knew that it has always been beautiful. The shooting detour will be good, IF ONLY teams had to hit more target. Like 3 to 5 each or 5 hits in total? 1 is just... OH I HIT IT. YAY LET'S GO. Lame.
I don't know.. regular TAR beats TARA i think. And this season's teams are abit dull. The malaysian all-male team are getting abit too over paranoid and hard to watch.

Yeah, I was about to comment on the terrible planning of the Roadblock as well. It's not fair to impose a 4-hour penalty on a team just because they can't get it on their first try! I was angry for Michelle and Claire, they had that great lead but totally lost it due to the penalty. Ugh!
Speaking of which, I'm really impressed with Michelle and Claire. Prior to the show, I thought that they'd be out early but till now, they've proven otherwise. What with eating 275 fishballs and giving their best for everything (I'm not too pleased about them telling the airline counter to lie though), I'm really proud of them! Michelle and Claire FTW!
I'm GLAD that Ivan and Hilda beat the Richards to snag first place. That was so close! Whew.

i like how the lead keep changing, it's not as predictable as to how the order will be like!
but ya...the tasks dont seem that challenging yet tho...

A closed finish between Ivan/Hilda and Richard/Richard. Hilda is not a sports girl if I refer to the Roadblock of the first leg and the finish of this leg. I think it's bad for her team. The Roadblock of this leg was huge for the classification.
