Anyone seen it? I have seen the first three episodes and I swear it's like High School Musi-crap without the crap. I really like how they managed the concept. The characters are credible and there's a perfect balance between drama, comedy and psycho characters.
Has Glee jumped the shark? Last night was not particularly interesting although I loved the duets. I'm tired of the religion aspect and I thought the Rachel/Finn duet was unnecessary and offensive which it was meant to be.
I wish the writers would get the show back on track. It's GLEE club, not a soap opera.

I loved that everybody got to sing. Almost everybody got a solo this time and even though Rachel sung twice, I barely noticed her. I'm not sure whether Emma or Mercedes stole the episode because they were both great.
There were good and unusual combos in this eppy. Tina & Brittany should sing together more often. I also loved Kurt/Quinn and Mercedes/Brittany/Santana

Sue is a hoot. She tries so hard to sabotage Will but usually falls flat on her face but she's always entertaining. :snicker:What I like it about her is that she's both Wicked, but concerned about the students at the same time.
As far as today's episode goes...I was completely shocked I didn't see that coming...good music, I was glad we got a lot less Rachel and more story for other characters. I'm kinda missing Mercedes a bit. I think Season 2 will be mostly about Kurt now, so I'm wondering if that will last for the whole season or just the first half. Now, was it me, or is Tina suddenly portrayed as a very superficial girl?
I'm still utterly shocked from the kiss between Karofsky and Kurt.

I love Glee!!I have a question though,how will they promote Darren Criss to a regular cast member?Do you think he'll transfer to McKinley because I can't see them switching back and forth between 2 schools seeing as the show is about the McKinley HS Glee club.
Last night's episode was one of the strongest IMO. I think the main point was teamwork. I liked how Puck learned from his mistakes. And while it was painful to see Finnchel break up, I get Finn. I love Artanny, "I thought adultery meant doing something stupid, like being an adult", it was cute. I loved that Mr. Schue finally lost it and reprimanded Rachel for her unsportsmanship.
I find Kurt's situation ironic. He gets safety but loses some of the liberties he was used to. And also, he gets his freedom by adapting and blending, something that doesn't really fit his personality. Not everything is happy at Dalton. As for the numbers, even though Sam & Quinn don't sing as good as Finn & Rachel, I think that it proved that New Directions as a whole is talented enough to at least win in sectionals, without having to depend on the captains.
And I loved Tina+Mercedes! Not to sound mean, but I hope that Rachel's depression for breaking up will allow the other Glee girls to get more solos between now and regionals. I wonder if Finn & Puck are back on good terms.

I've read an article somewhere that the current Glee cast will be dumped once they "graduate" high school in Glee, and then they will be replaced by a fresh batch of students.
So far, the Super Bowl and Valentine's episodes have been strong. The scene at the Gap was totally creepy. I smell Karofsky redemption arc soon.
So...has anyone watched it? For me, it felt...different. But it's grad year for many of them and Sue is doing something diff from the two prev seasons so I kinda expected it. Blaine being in ND also felt different. Not in a bad way though.

I think Season 3 will be interesting. They're focusing more on the characters' storylines now. :)

I'm only disappointed with the song choices in the first 2 episodes of the season, the songs in Mash Off are my fave for this season. But other than that, I'm pretty satisfied. =)
This coming week's Valentine Day episode, "Heart," is going to have an unintended tribute to Whitney Houston who has apparently passed away earlier today (Saturday.) The episode includes a Mercedes cover of :I Will Always Love You," perhaps Whitney's biggest hit with the possible exception of her performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at the Super Bowl during the Gulf War in 1993.

It was shocking to say the least and in many ways. A suicide attempt, a win at regionals, Rachel and Finn's sudden decision to marry with the parents plotting to stop it from happening and the possibility of a tragic accident for Quinn.

I'm so curious much like the rest of the Gleeks about what happened to the graduates! Some things from the first 3 episodes disappointed, while some had me loving Glee more and more!
I was surprised hearing from the first episode thatShow contentMike & Tinabroke up! I was like, what? That easily? Hopefully, there will be more ground story to explain that!
I enjoy the addition of Marley! I love her voice and so far her storyline, especially with her mom supporting her and all and vice versa.
Britney 2.0, imo, was much better than Britney/Brittany! Songs were imo nicer, and the eppy gave Britney Spears a more positive impression.
Episode 4 is titled - gulp - The Break-Up, and I just can't imagine any of the mentioned couples breaking up permanently! I just think whichever pair is separated next episode will reunite later in some way! Better yet, I hope the episode title is referring toShow contentJake & Kitty!!!
