Random discussion of the cast and your thoughts about this season.
1. No gay/lesbian this season?! 2. 4/5 young females in a cast of 20? 3. The girls look really good? The guys... hmmm?! 4. No big spoilers?! (Survivor's first.. sort of) Which is good IMO.
Can't wait for the season to start!

I am just really happy that there aren't a lot of young 20 somethings, just a few. Hopefully it's a more mature cast that will be a bit more interesting. So excited for Survivor to start! :jumpy:

I have to agree to that. Enough of people who got to the end by luck rather than real skill by being a real true blooded Survivor fan!

Did I miss it or was it not there this season . . . TV Guide has always profiled the Survivors but this season all we got was a blurb fom Jeffy saying Russell H. is the devil, there is no Exile Island and there will be tribal chiefs.
What gives :(

I think he wants to be portrayed as scary. It sure does help when they film him at night with the night vision.
He is definitely a first for Survivor. I was hoping the girls would compare notes right away but you're right, they will and he will crash and BURN!

I love that he owns an oil company. I laughed when I heard the older guy was a private chef. I asked my sister how funny it would be if he was Russel's private chef. :lol:

Well i'm liking the new castoff's this season.. but yeah, the bull in the china shop Russell(who doesn't need the money) will make for some good TV.. :meow:
If the girls don't campare notes 4 sure one of the guys will butt heads w/him soon enough and that will cause the them to compare notes :tup:
Marisa was already onto him so he did what he needed to do and that was to get her out...sucks to be the first!
She just should have opened her mouth to others about him.. GUT INSTINCTS are always best in Survivor.

Rupert was a big loveable teddy bear...mean Russell is NOT. I don't like the nasties....

I think Puddin is correct though, Russell makes great TV. I'd hate to see him win, but love how he's playing so far. Very entertaining.

Its funny how I always have a detached attitude with Survivor casts. totally opposite of BB. Maybe because we see so much more of BB and of, the what? 39 days they are on an island we only get less than 1 hour a week. Too bad we can't get live feed at least a few hours a day from Survivor.

1. Survivor : Russell H. 2. Tribe Epic Fail (Foa Foa) 4. Tribe Shambo (Galu) 5. Pure evilness 6. Survivor: The Foa Foa story, forget about Galu 7. Is Laura, Natalie, Brett and half of the cast even on the show? 8. After 19 seasons of Survivor, the most exciting moment on the season and widely advertised was a Survivor getting kicked out of a challenge. Big deal? 9. For the first time ever in history, i think a 2nd/3rd boot (Mike/Betsy) got such a big piece of screentime in just merely 2 episodes. 10. Boring, hard to watch.. can't wait for some ANTI RUSSELL H campaign to pick up. (WHERE'S SUGAR WHEN WE NEEDED HER??)

1. Yes 2. Yes (Fang failed too, but at least they entertained. Even Foa Foa failed at entertaining.) 3. Was it so boring that even a #3 impression isn't worth it? :funny: 4. I think it's more Shambo + Yasmin. ;) 5. I think half the characters are nice people. They just show the evil ones. 6. See #5. Although I'm rooting for Galu simply because I hate/dislike/am indifferent on 3/4 of Foa Foa now that Marisa/Betsy are gone. 7. See #s 5 & 6. Although so far, I'm only having problems with Laura/Monica/Brett/Natalie/Kelly. (There's something wrong though if you're satisfied with having problems getting to know 1/4 of the cast. :groan:) 8. I'll give it time. It's only been two episodes. 9. Yes, although I think there were others before them. 10. Russell H. <<<<< Ben in terms of annoying me so, if the Anti-Ben Campaign (ABC for short) picks up, then I'm on board that one. (Gah, if only it was easy as ABC. :lol:)
