Jeff Probst: The money did go up. I don't have the exact numbers. I think it was a million for the winner, $250,000 for the runner up then $175,000 and then maybe 115, then maybe dropped into 85. I'll have those numbers on the Live Show.

Post by: Rob on May 06, 2004, 06:00:33 PM: I do know for a fact that the first person off gets $2500. I read this someplace, and cannot find it now, but I remember the first one, then it goes all the way up to $100,000 for the 2nd place winner, and $1,000,000 for the winner, of course!

Post by: CindiLou on May 07, 2004, 06:58:40 PM: I also read that the money was increased for SAS. The beginning amount for the first player voted off (Tina) was $25,000 up from $2500. Ten times the normal amount so they made out on this season.
