If you want to know whats happening while the show airs tonight, here's the place to do it BUT.........
for those in the Philippines or wherever/whatever the hell channel it is that airs the show with no commercials PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO THOSE OF US WHO WANT TO WATCH THE SHOW TOGETHER AS ITS HAPPENING AND DO NOT POST THE RESULTS UNTIL THE SHOW IS DONE AIRING HERE! How do you know when the show is done airing here and when you could reveal the results? Follow this thread! YES we know you are excited to know the results before we do and YES this is a spoiler board BUT we DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE RESULTS, WE WANT TO WATCH TOGETHER :angel:

Ok, now back to TARAsia Fan... can't wait for this episode. This is the episode where we see the Final 3 jockey for position to be in position for the Final 3. This episode is so big, we need the Goodyear Blimp to do a flyover. I think it should fly over puddin's house and then fly to Singapore, this is so big.

Part of me is relieved because I wanted Cara & Jamie to beat LaKisha & Jen. But part of me is sorry for LaKisha & Jen. They might've stuck around if Jen hadn't drank so much water that she had to go to the bathroom -- and that's all it took for Cara & Jamie to beat them. Of course, the U-Turn didn't help them any.

It was really decided by the U-TURN because it made them lose invaluable amount of time.. but the decision to pee.. now we just need to read some interview to see if they're only behind by 3 to 5 minutes. If it's 10 minutes, it could have been a bad cab driver fault too.. whatever it is, i would rather have Kisha and Jen over Cara and Jaime anyday. I really like Kisha and Jen.. aww.. thank God i looked at the spoilers and knew they would be eliminated.. if not i would have been heartbroken.. :(

As watchers we have learned from countless mistakes of previous racers. Mistakes you know you wont do if you're ever on the race.
Ie Momaly and never give up or last season with Dallas to never let your race pack out of your sight. There have been countless others.
Now we have the " Pee your pants if you have too." You know will see this sometime down the line in a future season!

Hey guys. Am I late to the table or something? I just noticed that on the CBS site, the pics of the Final 3 lead to a "Best of..." page, while the rest lead to their bio page. Maybe they just changed it today, but it's just my two cents.

One thing that has been very impressive with Tammy and Victor is their ability to figure out the Chinese words in the clue that the English phonetic sounds are supposed to represent. As Victor said, the slightest tonal difference can lead to a big change in the meaning.
Heck, for someone who understands mandarin, I heard the customer say "good luck squid" for the "good luck fish" like T/V did in the detour. It was a very subtle difference. Almost like yeu vs. lyeu.
I also think the chef took pity on J/K in the task. They were still pretty far off on some of them.

Actually they are not. If you want to count the average placing of the teams, i'm pretty sure Jaime and Cara had a higher average than Kisha and Jen. :res:

It wasn't their time to go actually Kiwi, because that doesn't make sense. Cara and Jaime had been trailing behind like Kisha and Jen as well, the legs where they were doing good, Cara and Jaime did bad. The legs Cara and Jaime did bad, they were doing good.. there wasn't any much difference between the 2, with the only difference being Kisha and Jen at least won a leg.
And yes puddin, i agree completely with you. Victor and Tammy could have U-TURN Margie and Luke and Cara and Jaime.. but they chose Kisha and Jen for a reason too. Imagine them U-TURNing Cara and Jaime.. most of us would have go ???? and not understand why they did it.. and the episode would have been so boring because we all know Jaime and Cara can't overcome the U-TURN for good, unlike Kisha and Jen.
So all in all, i'm not trying to defend Kisha and Jen and run down Cara and Jaime, because i think both all-female teams are equally strong.. but to say Kisha and Jen are weak, and saying that it's their time to go, is unfair to them.. because it obviously isn't the case.

Well, I think this was a prety good episode overall, but I would replace Marige and Luke with Kisha and Jen. But it was a suspenseful episode even though I knew what was going to happen!

I'm not so sure it was as close as Phil made it sound. He had enough time to greet J/C, conduct at least a 1:30 mat interview (see insider clips), and have production get them out of the way. That's probably a good 5 minutes in total.
I doubt that J/K went looking for the port-a-potty. They probably spotted it and decided to stop. Unless it takes Jen 5 minutes to pee, it wasn't that close.

I differ with you. There was no karma involved, just the inability of Kisha/Jen to navigate around the outside of the Olympic Stadium despite their advantage in foot speed. Yes, I know that Jen's need to pee slowed them down. But is still looked to me that if they had been efficient in finding the pit stop (which I guess would ahve been located as far away from tthe taxi drop area as possible) they should have won 3rd place. Another major factor was Cara's incredible ability to wolf down beetles, grasshoppers. scorpions and starfish morsels. Without that it would not have been a close race for 3rd.

Your vision is different from mine on this, Joab. What I saw was that Kisha/Jen continued searching for the pit stop unsuccessfully after the pee break. They found it just after Jaime/Cara did and therefore finished some small number of seconds behind.
Think about it. If Kisha/Jen could not spot the pit stop from the portapotty area, they could not have got there quick enough for a "seconds after" finish if Jen was still in a stall. You may be confused by the fact that World Race Productions production personnel would have stopped Kisha/Jen from getting on camera the instant they arrived so that Jaime/Cara could finish up with Phil first.

That is chauvinistic. The real answer to who is vulnerable is the millions of people (like me) who take diruetics. It is no joke for them. If you are not at the right place at the right time the results can be embarrassing. I had to stop my tour bus so I could relieve myself. In Jen's case drinking a huge quantity of water was the probable cause, but without that she could never have finished the eating ROADBLOCK without serious delay.

I'm not so sure it was as close as Phil made it sound. He had enough time to greet J/C, conduct at least a 1:30 mat interview (see insider clips), and have production get them out of the way. That's probably a good 5 minutes in total.
I doubt that J/K went looking for the port-a-potty. They probably spotted it and decided to stop. Unless it takes Jen 5 minutes to pee, it wasn't that close.
nathyn, I have addressed this in another post. See above. The bottom line is that Jen/Kisha were held by WRP production for as long as it took Jaime/Cara to complete their time with Phil. Jen/Kisha had been there for minutes when they first appeared on camera to join Phil.

I never thought of Jen and Kisha as weak, far from it! I don't blame the other teams for not wanting to compete against them in the final 3. Those girls can run!
Well Tammy & Victor use of the U-Turn was one of the smarter uses of these sort of tools (no matter all the bitching at sucks).
1st Victor & Tammy (the last time they absolutely knew) were only ahead of Kisha & Jen.
You only use that sort of tool on people you believe are behind you.
2. They understood that the final leg has always had some serious running in it. So then get rid of the fastest team.
3. The last few seasons have ended in a brain task, I am sure they feel that here they have no direct competition.
So its aboslutely logical to use the U-Turn on Kisha & Jen, in fact either other choice would have been stupid (unless at some point Tammy & Victor were aware that they had passed Margie & Luke and Jaime & Cara).
