So I really just wanted to say I really don't like how they are doing the Wild Card spot this year. Apparently The Judges are allowed to bring back ANYONE that has audition this year. If they made the Top 36 or not. So like if they wanted to they could even bring back the Osmen guy or anyone. and then They get to Pick who will make it in to the top 12 Not votes. Just wondering what you guys thought about this.

I'm not sure how they decide on the top 36, some of them were more memorable like Scott, Adam, Danny, TATIANA.. (We DO remember her.) I was surprised that Danny Osmund didn't make it through.
I remember that Clay Aiken was brought back for the wild card round and he made it to 2nd place. Who would you like to see have another chance?
BTW, there is a rumor making the rounds of the blogs and fan sites that Anoop Desai, Ricky Braddy and Matt Girard are back in town so they can have another chance on Thursday, wild card round. I really liked Anoop so I hope he gets a chance to join the top 12.

I am sure, it's not just only anyone, but only the Top 36 who did not make the top 12 will be back. And wildcards are good, look at dear JENNIFER HUDSON. I bet the wildcard was back to make sure they don't slip through talent like her. She's probably the most successful idol now, with an Oscar, grammy and many other prominent awards to her name.
Anyway, i'm sure the judges get to pick 3, and they will pick the 3 most deserving as well. So why not? :D

I like the idea of the judges picking the Wild Card. Although the judges can make mistakes too, I think they are a better "judge" of true talent and who deserves a shot at the top 12. jmo :lol:

Well I'm pretty pleased with the Wild Card selections, other than Tatiana *rolleyes*. But I must say I was seriously amused by how teary she was when she made it through, couldn't help laughing. Guess the judges really brought her back for pure entertainment, she'd better not make it through to the top 12 or VFTW will make sure we see her for a few more weeks.
Von and Jesse were rather random choices in my opinion. Though I really like Von, doubt he's gonna make it through with the other much better singers with far more memorable personalities.
That said, I agree with Joab that these five contestants will be the ones fighting it out for the three spots, Anoop, Ricky, Megan, Jasmine and Matt. And it's difficult choosing three out of these really good people. Much as I hope there'll be two girls chosen, I'm not exactly crazy over Jasmine. I REALLY HOPE that Ricky and Megan will make it through, with the third one maybe Anoop? I'm pretty sure that Anoop will be a shoo in to the top 12. He's likeable and talented, with the right song choice, he's sure to impress. What I feel is a waste is that he chose a wrong song during the top 12 round, giving the chance to Michael. Had he made an impression in the top 12, he'd be in for sure, leaving three spots for even better singers out there.
Ricky is more of a voice than the other four, so if he doesn't do well, he won't get a chance. Really hope he'll impress once again, I really really like him! Matt is actually pretty good as well I guess, so... it's tough. But right now, I really hope that Megan and Ricky get in. Whoever joins them, I don't really care, JUST NOT Tatiana.

About (and for) Titiana. She CAN sing! She proved it again last night but she defeated herself by opening her mouth and inserting both feet. If she could only find a way to keep her cool, keep her emotions under control, she would be in the top 13 and probably on the bus tour this summer. It was sad to see her begging once again for something she herself threw away. :(
Forgot to mention... singing the same song every time???? Not a good thing Tatiana..

Ah was disappointed Ricky didn't make it but it was too bad, his performance wasn't really impressive. Very glad that Megan made it though! And I just LOVED Anoop's face when Simon announced the decision of a top 13. Stellar! I'm sure he'll go very far, with his talent and likeability. And of course, so glad that Tatiana didn't make it through! We should all thank her for killing her own chances singing the same song. I was shocked when Ryan announced she was doing the same song again. And what's with that accent, it made me laugh so much. Honestly, Tatiana would make a good comedian lol.
I love the top 13, it'll be a good fight, with so many strong singers in there. It's just hard to picture who'll be out first. Currently I'm rooting for Alexis, Allison, Adam, Scott, Lil, Megan, Anoop. Can't wait for the finals to begin! =D
