There are 3 NFL games that CBS is telecasting in the 415pm - finish time frame. Based on past experience even if Cinannati vs. Dallas ended close tp 7pm(much more likely would be 720pm), they will attempt to also show the finish of Buffalo vs. Arizona or New england vs. San Francisco.

I don't know, I would sday that if it cuts it close, they wouldn't try. Cinci vs. Dallas is nearing the end of the 2nd right now. Oh happy day for Starr.

I can tell you through NFL Sunday Ticket's Supercast online, Buffalo-Arizona is on pace to end early, but that audience will be send to Cincinnati-Dallas or New England-SF which are both dragging midway 3rd quarter.

It's now 7:16 p.m. and the two featured CBS games, Cincinnati-Dallas and New England-SF are heading towards the finish. The audience for Cinci-Dallas will be sent to Pats-Niners so the Eastern and Central time zones can start together.

PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil: Eleven teams left LA, on a race around the world for $1 million. At the airport, Nick and Starr made an alliance. In Salvador, Terence wanted Sarah to focus only on him. Ken made a commitment to his wife (Tina). Nick/Starr led the pack in the descent down the cargo net, and claimed 1st place. Frats made a costly mistake (on the steps) but in the end beekeepers Anita and Arthur were eliminated.
Ten teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

(Scene: Terence/Sarah, arguing about how/whether she can interact with other teams. She is very emotional.)
Nick/Starr, CLUE, 4:07 am.
Fly to Fortaleza, Brazil.
Phil: 640 miles. Once there, they'll travel by taxi to this tiny village (along the coast!), for the next clue.
Ken/Tina, 4:13 am.
Their taxi driver doesn't have a cell phone.
Terence/Sarah, 4:18 am.
Conf, Sarah: He is a ball of emotion. If there's a way I can reduce the drama, I try to.
Comic book guys Mark/Bill, 4:23 (I think) am.
Nick/Starr first to the airport and can't pronounce Fortaleza correctly.
Looks like the toteboard showing the first outbound flight to Fortaleza is 11 am ... ha!
Blondes, 4:44 am.
Next sets of teams arrive at the airport and are told there's a 6:45 am departure.
Teams beg the clerk to put them on a waiting list for that flight.
One team is happy there's no sign of Terence/Sarah.
Toni/Dallas, 4:57 am.

Andrew/Dan, 5:03 am leaving the Fort.

Aja/Ty left in sequence and are on their way to the airport.
Lead teams getting ready to board.
Anthony/Stephanie 5:11 am, Marissa/Brooke 5:13 am leave the Fort.
(The only question is whether they'll make it to the airport in time for the 6:45 flight!)

I think Terence is being a regular jerk! True, Tina was probably overblowing her role in getting everyone on the plane -- it was for the alliance's benefit and the other teams got lucky as a result -- but still, Terence should just calm down! Plane lands in Fortaleza. Teams all run off in more or less the same direction. They're all lost.
They mad dash for taxis, and Sarah gets a cab to land Terence/Sarah in 1st.
Not much Engrish being spoken, and teams are doing the Spanglish thing again.
Terence/Stephanie push a taxi up the road in the pouring morning rain. It won't start.
In 9th, Ken/Tina, proving that Karma's a bitch.
Terence/Sarah, CLUE:
Phil: Choose a dune buggy and take it to the Barraca do Manuel for the next clue.
Teams all get clues, except for Aja/Ty who can't find the cluebox.
Teams take dune buggies down the beach, having "a blast."

The beach it task reminds me of the pulling blocks task in Egypt.

Anthony/Stephanie are still languishing behind in a cab.
Extensive confessionals between them, usually not a good sign in the editing.
Teams are bunching now, as Ken/Tina make it to 7th at the dune buggy pickup point.
Frats 8th, Aja/Ty finally find the cluebox, dropping to 9th.
DETOUR.
Phil: Two things related to the community.
Beach it, travel by buggy to the beach, take a traditional sailing boat. Maneuver the logs below 440 yards to transport the boat across the sand.
Dock it, (docket) search for a container hidden in the shipyard. Search a computer database for the same ID number (7 digits) as on a card. When they pinpoint their container within the section they get the next clue.

Comic Book Guys seem to be the first team among the leaders to choose Docket. 4962932 is their container number. They look on the computer to find that number.
Other lead teams choose to Beach It, rolling logs under the boat to move the boat 440 yards.
Beautiful beach scenes with storms in the distance.
Ken/Tina 7th, Frats 8th, Aja/Ty 9th, all pretty much together as they begin the Beach It.
Comic Book Guys find the number on the computer.
Sarah/Terence bitching at each other now.
T: Next time you want to do pushups in the morning ...
Kelly/Christy scoff at Terence, channeling his inner Jonathan Baker.
Locals help the teams push the boats across the logs/across the sand.
The logs have to be moved every few yards.
Comic Book Guys begin searching the haystack for
Terence/Sarah, CLUE:
Travel by taxi for the Parque de Viajada
Phil: Where they will take one of these vehicles.
Nick/Sarah finish the boat push in 2nd.
Having finished the boatpush, Kelly/Christy MISREAD THE CLUE and think they still have to find the marked container.
Comic Book Guys find the right container and get their clue.

Phil: One person searches for a clue hidden in plain sight. On a 600 foot wall, is written the name of the next destination. There is advertising and wording all over the wall. They must write it and give it to the painter for the next clue.

At a red light, they're dead even.
Joking about having a footrace between the two teams, which Ken relishes.
Kelly/Christy resolve to read the clue next time, as Aja/Ty's cab passes them on the road.
Morons, Kelly/Christy let their taxi leave, despite the clue CLEARLY stating that the taxi was needed after the Roadblock.

Well, Ken & Tina will definitely be safe. If the title of Episode 4 is any indication, Marissa & Brooke will probably also be safe -- this leg. I think Aja & Ty have a few legs left in them. That leaves Mark & Bill. I can sure see them going downhill in this leg, which would be a sad thing. As long as Kelly & Christy rebound from their bad showing this leg, I'll be happy.

well, the divorcees were hilarious this episode ! not in a good racing way.. they just keep digging and digging for the container when about half dozen teams went right by them?? and they were excellent at the wall (tina only got it by watching bill) but then were frantically running around for their cab?? ohmigosh ohmigosh we were supposed to keep 'em. and when they finally realized it was still in the lot.. :funny: :funny: i think they are good racers, hopefully they learnt to read the clues carefully - it's nice when you screw up not reading a clue and don't get philled.. twice!
who did everybody like best in this episode? for me :

There must have been a trick to get to right answer, but it escaped everyone, so the easiest way to solve the problem was just to write everything down and read it back to the painter. Phil did hint that the way to solve the problem was to ape the locals and just lay back and relax. But there must have been a way to solve it without having to write it all down. Any ideas :duno:

Gman, no trick was possible. This was a random trial, effectively equivalent to the "needle in haystack" Roadblock that eliminated lena and Kristy in AR6. All of the people doing this Roadblock have to guess which item is the correct place name. Guessing repetitively and quickly was the winning srategy. Now the above applies to people who are not fluent in Portuguese, which I believe Sarah was. However, wasn't Terence the one selected to do this Roadblock?
If you were fluent in Portuguese, it would be easy to isolate the few items on the list of 11 which were place names. Then you would repetitively cite a shorter list to the painter.

This was not my favorite task (except I LOVED Nivaldo, lol)--not very exciting for us to watch and not exactly a "most insane" challenge for the racers either...
I would rather have seen them have to find a place based on a pic or an obscure clue, I think.

IA peach -- usually the first couple of legs the tasks aren't so great for me. I always love it so much more when it gets down to around 8 teams.
