THE TRIBES MUST RANK THEIR MEMBERS BASED ON IMPORTANCE, AND ONE CASTAWAY HAS A RUDE AWAKENING, ON "SURVIVOR: GABON -- EARTH'S LAST EDEN," THURSDAY, OCT. 9 "It Was Like Christmas Morning!" - One Castaway's desperation leads to waterworks, and the waterworks lead to sympathy from other members on the tribe. Meanwhile, Exile Island leaves one Castaway feeling as if it is Christmas morning, on SURVIVOR: GABON - EARTH'S LAST EDEN, Thursday, Oct. 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Next on Survivor: Gabon It Was Like Christmas Morning One Castaway vows that a tribemate will be "the next lamb to the slaughter". Exile Island leaves one Castaway feeling as if it's Christmas morning. One Castaway's desperation leads to waterworks, and the waterworks lead to sympathy. Will sympathy lead to her safety? The tribes rank their members based on importance, and one Castaway is given a very rude awakening.

Next week has a nice little twist conceived by our resident switch expert, Dan Munday. I love it when we come up with something new that catches them off guard. It’s so hard to do that anymore, so when it happens we celebrate. We really do. We go back to base camp, pop a bottle of champagne, and slap each other on the backs. I’m kidding. There is no hitting on Survivor.

Wonder what could be new this season? An early tribal switch? I think the earliest one was around this time in Survivor Marquesas, and I think people would be prepared for it.

Speculated Boot is Kelly.
One thing that I find it strange is that even though Randy and Kelly are supposed to be on different tribes, how come they are shown talking to each other in the 20 secs promo? :duno:

Randy and Kelly appear to be talking to each other but that aren't shown together in the same frame. He says something and then she says somthing that may or may not be in response to what he said. It may just be editing . . . or we may have a switch wrong . . . ask again at 9:00 ;)

This should be interesting since Jiffy is so giddy about them catching the tribes off guard. I can also see the old Fang voting like Ace wanted to try and make friends with him on a Kelly boot.

From what I've read so far most are guessing
Reward: none (maybe some goodies for both tribes as in food) Exiled: Ace or Sugar (how are they choosen if no RC?) IC: Kota Boot: Kelly with GC a close second

Speculation ONLY, based on vidcaps, as requested. After players are ranked within their own tribes, the top player of each tribe becomes the MVP of that tribe. The next top rated players and the lowest rated players from each tribe are swapped, as well as one additional player from each tribe, possibly at the discretion of the top-ranked player. Based on vidcaps, we don't think that more than three players are swapped from each tribe. One of the players listed under new Kota will likely be sent to Exile, perhaps only to rejoin the tribe going to TC, making the tribes even for next week's episode.

In reply #4, and #9 thru 13, I'm seeing nothing but a row of Red X's!! (For a long time, the red X's have been in several people's avatar space too...peach and another TAR person whose name can't remember)
Hmmm...in the Preview, I can see 5 photos!! :tup: (2= the same blond gal, not sure who, then Sugar, Randy, and a lightning bolt)
So guess I'll do Previews of the rest!!

Survivor Fever is the only one that hints, but it's still like you say, not 100% sure. I'm still not totally sure why they decided on Jacqueee. Need to rewatch my tape to find out. Lance's Pick'em is the game we're affected the most. :crybabe: Probably most of us waged the entire 100 pts on Kelly. Oh well...it's just a game!

Jacquie was voted out instead of Kelly because Jacquie had a closer relationship with Ace and Sugar. If Kelly had been voted out and Sugar arrived with the HII she could use it to save either of the 3 of them if they got wind of who the other 4 were planning on voting out giving Ace, Jacquie and Sugar the chance to even the score by taking out an oldFang. Kelly is disliked by her old tribemates (Fang is beginning to understand why) and should be an easy boot the next time they go to TC, leaving Fang with 4 oldFang and 2 nuFang. Strategywise a good decision challengewise a bad one!
