Yep! I'm on West Coast time and NOT happy about it for TAR! --I have already called dibs on the (omg! Big screen! HDTV!) TV at 8 but due to other family stuff I don't believe I am going to be "allowed" to play online till then... :cmas4

I've been thinking that the 3 headed monster can be Ron and his hernia.
CBS has been so obvious about it being the Goths that I'm thinking maybe the hernia plays a role and R/C get elim'd?? But that is my heart and not my head so I prob don't have the guts to vote that way.

One more week of NFL doubleheaders, but after that, three weeks of NFL playoffs, so the overruns are still in play depending on the scheduling.

PREVIOUSLY .. ON THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil: Six teams left Vilnius, and flew to Croatia. A critical mistake at the airport left Azaria/Hendekea scrambling for tickets. While Ron/Christina's relationship flourished, Nate/Jenn's disintegrated. The strong teamwork paid off for father/daughter, team #1, while another top 3 finish left Nate/Jenn with bigger problems to solve. Nic/Don's problems rowing gave a glimmer of hope to Azaria/Hendekea, but in the end they fell short and were eliminated.
Five teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?
Oh lets see Kynt & Vyxsin. Oh wait they weren't really asking me.

Phil: Saw through the skies over Tuscany, search from Ultralight for the name of your next destination, Vinci. When spotted, signal pilot and head back down. There's a 30-minute time limit per flight, or they have to come down, refuel, to continue searching.
FAST FORWARD.
Phil: This is the only Fast Forward in the entire Race.
Teams make their way to Fabio's studio to take place in the seafaring tradition, of getting a permanent tattoo, the letters F F. Stands for Fast Forward. When both team members have the tattoo, they get their FF Clue.

Phil: In case of car trouble, a replacement car is provided, but no time credit is given.

TK/Rachel finish the Detour.
Kynt/Vyx run uphill, huffing and puffing.

Kynt/Vyxsin do flag dancing.
TK/Rachel do a tire change.
Kynt/Vyx finish the Detour and get in their replacement car.

TK: Incredible relief.
Phil: Kynt/Vyxsin, you're the last team to arrive. Good news is, this is the first of only 2 non-elimination legs. You're still in the Race. Bad news, some time in the next leg, you'll encounter a SPEED BUMP. Only you have to complete it, while the other teams Race. Only you will have it, and you won't know when it's coming.
Vyx: We just don't want to go home.
Vyx conf: We had a meltdown. Not in a fun way.
Kynt conf: We were beaten, downtrodden, more than in any other leg. Now the Speed Bump.
Kynt, to Phil: We'll give it everything we can.

Actually should this count as this week or next. They didn't get the penalty this week. They earned it, but they didn't get it. They get it next week.

:cmas9 yeahhhhhh!!! i was counting the goths out all episode!!! this was a good day. the goths are still in it. the ratings should be good because of a football overlay (although they might be bad because christmas eve is tomorrow) and i got engaged today! goths for the win!

Well thats the whole crutch, what does the terms "given out" mean.
Does given out mean "Told" or does given out refer to "having to do"
Take season 10 as an example. When D & K (or David & Mary, which is probably a better example) were last and told they needed to be first or take a 30 penalty before checking in.
When was the penalty given out? When they were first told that it would occur, or when it occurred?

It was very clear from the start there were going to be two non eliminations.
I was thinking there was going to be a non-elimination leg somewhere in this race. I knew something was up when I read people talking about how none of them were going to show up and hearing how many actual legs were in the race at the start of the first episode.
Now we (kind of?) know what a Speed Bump is: A team that finishes last in a non-elimination leg gets an extra task to complete in the next leg. What kind of task is it? No clue.
