Lost fans have long been dying to get back to the future, and their wait is almost over: ABC will debut season 4 of the island drama on Thursday, Jan. 31 at 9 p.m., in place of Grey's Anatomy.This scheduling move keeps the series out of harm's way (read: American Idol), and will also please tired fans who had trouble last season staying up Wednesday nights until 11 p.m. Eight episodes of the show will air on consecutive Thursdays (the other half of the season is still TBD because of the strike). ABC has also set premiere dates for some new shows: Cashmere Mafia (Thursday, Jan. 3; it will air on Wednesdays starting Jan. 9); Dance War: Bruno vs. Carrie Ann (Monday, Jan. 7); Eli Stone (Jan. 31, after Lost); and Oprah’s Big Give (Sunday, Mar. 2). I personally think Lost is the best show on TV. And the finale from last season was amazing. This as to be the most anticipated premier of the year.

I've been reading everything Bball and I don't think I've ever been more excited about a shows return :jumpy:
ABC issued the press release below regarding the fictional airline that carried the passengers on the Lost television series. The network operations a website for the airline as well at oceanic-air.com which as of today does not reflect the resumption of service. Fans are left to sort out what it all means.

Flights Begin December 31 To Nine Markets Oceanic Airlines announced today their return to the airways. Beginning December 31, operations and flights to nine markets will resume, “Taking You Places You Never Imagined.” Destinations include:

Exclusive: Lost Finds Post-Grey's Berth!
ABC is said to be finalizing a post-strike spring schedule that not only hands Lost its best available time slot, but promises to further strengthen the network's stronghold on Thursday night.
According to multiple sources, ABC plans on airing this season's final five* Lost episodes on Thursdays at 10 pm/ET beginning in late April, where it will follow all-new episodes of Grey's freakin' Anatomy! Throw in fresh installments of Ugly Betty at 8 pm and you've got yourself the most formidable one-two-three punch since the early days of CBS' Survivor/CSI/Without a Trace smashup. Creatively speaking, I'd go so far as to say this rivals NBC's storied Must-See-TV juggernaut back in the '90s.
And I haven't even gotten to the best part.
The best part is that I'm hearing that ABC is strongly considering keeping this dream lineup intact this fall... and beyond.
I don't know about you, but this almost makes up for ABC's mishandling of [insert any number of show titles here].
* This just in: I'm now hearing that Lost's final arc may consist of six episodes, not five. No, Team Darlton isn't making an extra episode this season. Rather, the final installment of the current run (aka Episode 8) will likely be held to kick off the final batch of five. According to my spies, Episode 7 makes for a better, more logical, break.
Last night when they showed Jin's tombstone-the date of death was the date of the crash! :duno:
I bet he is alive and is working for Ben to keep Sun safe and pretending he is dead is a cover or he does not want Sun's father to know that he is alive? he does not want to be obligated to him again, work for him ? Since next week is the last show until April I plan on taking some time and sitting back and "try" to rewatch this season again .

Somehow, I had totally missed out on this show for the past three seasons, but here's one reason to say THANK GOODNESS FOR THE WRITERS STRIKE!!!! Purely out of curiosity, I order season 1 from Netflix and spent February and March catching up on all three seasons. I'll admit, I'm COMPLETELY addicted now! What an incredible show! I can't believe HOW I could have missed out on it for three seasons.
Anyway, I finished up just in time because, according to my DVR, they're starting Season 4 from the beginning this Thursday until the new episodes start later in April. And I'll catch whatever they don't show on CBS online. So, I'll be around once Lost starts back up next month to talk theories and conspiracies!

You know what's really sad though, is that I got used to watching three or four episodes a night and then coming home the next day and watching a couple more. By the time I finished the third disk, the next two would be in my mailbox from Netflix, so I never had to go very long.
This waiting 2 more weeks for the next new episode is KILLING me! :)

Good news for Lost fans ........
It's Official: Lost Finds Extra Hour... But There's a Twist!
I can now confirm what I first teased earlier this week: Team Darlton has sealed a deal with ABC to bring us an extra hour of Lost this season.
But there's a twist.
Lost isn't the only ABC hit experiencing an unexpected growth spurt. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Grey's Anatomy will also expand its season by an hour — and it has Lost to thank!
Allow me to explain. With a 14th hour of Lost now a done deal, the show's finale will swell to three hours. But, in what can only be described as an unorthodox scheduling move, the first hour of that finale will air on May 15, and then we have to wait two weeks — until May 29 — to get the last two hours! That's right, no Lost on May 22.
Why?
Apparently, Darlton convinced ABC that the final two hours had to air together. And with the finales of Grey's and Ugly Betty already slated for May 22 at 8 and 9 pm respectively, ABC really had no other choice than to sked Lost's two-hour exit for May 29. That, in turn, created a hole on May 22 at 10 pm — hence the net's decision to tack an extra hour onto the Grey's finale.
"We are very excited and grateful to [ABC president] Steve McPherson for working out the scheduling difficulties to allow us to make the second part of our finale two hours," says exec producer Carlton Cuse. "Damon and I were working on the script and we just couldn't get it all done in one hour without shortchanging the story. Now the finale will have all the sweep and emotional completeness we wanted it to have — along with, of course, answering who's in the coffin."
Still confused about how the new schedule will look? Let me break it down for you.
May 15 8 pm: Ugly Betty 9 pm: Grey's Anatomy 10 pm: Lost (part 1 finale)
May 22 8 pm: Ugly Betty finale 9-11 pm: Two-hour Grey's Anatomy finale
May 29 8 pm: Lost encore (part 1 finale) 9-11 pm: Two-hour Lost finale
All told, a pretty fraktacular turn of events. That is, unless you have a stake in the success of Swingtown. The controversial CBS drama was scheduled to debut on May 29 at 10 pm against little or no competition. Now it's up against the most anticipated 60 minutes of television all year.
I can't believe the ending. Only more questions to be asked.
It leaves me wanting more!! OMG I can't stand it!! lol They have to go back just have to go back!! that has to be what next season is about .. how they get back what happened to the peeps left behind, is Jin alive, ....I've been reading spoilers and there really are some good theories out there... but I won't go there, lol

Lost Cue our favorite creepy whooshing sound, because ABC has confirmed the premiere date for the fifth season of Lost, and it's Jan. 21.
Yep, that's a Wednesday, and it's where Lost — which last season aired Thursdays at 10 pm/ET, following Grey's Anatomy — will stay.
More specifically, Lost's regular time slot will be Wednesdays at 9 pm, though the new cycle will kick off with a three-hour event — a clip show followed by the first two episodes.
Last season, Lost saw its best-laid plans to air all of its episodes uninterrupted, à la 24, waylaid by the WGA strike. At this time, sources are unable to confirm if the 17-episode Season 5 will in fact pull off the straight-through feat.

VIDEO: New Lost Trailer Flashes Hidden Message
The extended trailer from Lost's forthcoming fifth season is upon us — and those crafty folks over at ABC have created yet another mystery to add to the laundry list by flashing a subliminal message twice (at the 1:34 and 2:25 mark) within the video set to The Fray's new video for "You Found Me."
The split second image flashed is a logo for Ajira Airways which consists of a roaring tiger atop a flaming sun (and as with Oceanic, a teaser site (http://www.ajiraairways.com/) has been created).
The trailer consists of footage for last season as well as a few select snippets from the upcoming Season 5 including Sawyer and Juliet holding hands and Desmond and Penny in bed.
I loved this show, but somehow I fell a whole season (and a half) behind but I want to catch up too! :didimiss:

Yes they are all on abc.com and play just wonderful, just an ad now and then. So I'm rethinking, I already watched all the seasons last spring I think and might start from season 4 but I feel I missed so much if I skip all seasons. I could skip most of season 3 though and be happy :cmaslol

Here's what you do. Watch all of Season 1. That season is brilliant TV.
Skip all of Season 2. That is a complete mess.
Then, start with the 4th episode of season 3 and watch all the way through.
ABC should have recap of Season 2 as it aired before the premiere of S3 so you can catch up that way. If not, go to iTunes as Lost is available for purchase and the recaps should be on there as well.

Review: Lost Premiere Fires Up One Trippy New Season

Lost's Sayid and Hurley find big trouble. The first seasons' flashbacks now seem utterly quaint. And the more recent flash-forwards? Relatively simple. As promised, previewed and teased by the producers of Lost ever since Season 4 came to a close, the next cycle of episodes introduce a new storytelling "device" of sorts that might make you want to keep a notepad and pen next to your TV remote.
But enough about that. No, really — that's enough. I can't say more, given the confidentiality request that prefaced the first two Season 5 episodes made available to the press.
Instead, I will simply note that the episodes "Because You Left" and "The Lie" offer compelling twists for both the half-dozen "survivors" of Oceanic flight 815 as well as those who are still on the island (wherever it may be).
The first hour is the stronger of the two, as it sends the mind reeling and uncorks infinite possibilities. Picking up soon after the events of the season finale, "Because You Left" reiterates Ben's claim that Jack et al must return to the island to make things "right" (as Michael Emerson shares in this video, there's a "scientific need" for that reunion to happen), then lets slip a bit of insight — from the perspective of those left behind — as to where the island moved. Alas, just as they figure it out....
Next up, "The Lie" revolves around a major predicament for one of the Oceanic 6, setting the stage for a twist that significantly staggers Ben's plan to "get the band back together." Meanwhile, Sawyer, Juliet and the others are subject to old island problems, new revelations and surprise saviors, with the showstopper being one of Lost's most electric and intense action scenes ever.
Familiar faces return. New faces create new problems ... or perhaps offer solutions (hello, Fionnula Flanagan!). People die. All told, the foundation is laid for a pivotal penultimate season.
Before I go, a few more teasers to whet your whistle until the new season arrives Wednesday, Jan. 21.
• Within the first minutes, Daniel Faraday turns up in a most unexpected place.
• Jack shaves his strife beard ... in the premiere's second such shaving scene. (And no, you'll never guess the first familiar face to take razor in hand.)
• There's "another" plane crash.
• Someone gets a nosebleed. (Uh-oh.)
• Kate is haunted by a decision she made.
• As previously spoiled, a dead gal briefly resurfaces — in a somewhat surprising (and somewhat ironic) capacity.
• Did someone order a big helping of frogurt...?
• Every theory I have read about how Desmond might remain in the mix, even though he and Penny were free and clear at the end of the season finale? No one got it right.
• Someone dares call Sawyer an "inbred." That can't end well. And it doesn't.
• Speaking of Sawyer, he remains shirtless for the entire first hour plus the first eight minutes of the second episode. (ABC, you owe me big time for spreading the word on that.)

Fox, who plays Dr. Jack Shepard, opened up about what he envisions in his Lost-free future — both personally and professionally — starting with his plans to move from Hawaii to the mainland when the show ends. "My major motivation is to be closer to family," he said. "My brother is there, my mother is there. We're hoping to break ground [for a house] in March, and it will be completed right around the time we're finishing the last season of Lost in March 2010."
The actor's new home will plant him far from the spotlight in rural Oregon, but close enough to Portland and Seattle to find city life easily with his wife and two children. "I really miss that kind of wide-open space," he explained, "and there's a big part of me that wants the kids to live in that mountain air."
While Fox envisions a secluded home life, he's also candid about what he wants in his very public working life. "I don't have control over what will come my way, but if the opportunities I get excited by keep coming, I'm going to continue working in this business." Lost co-executive producer Damon Lindelof was more specific: "[Fox] has the potential to be a leading man, but I think he's interested in those quirky transformative roles," he said. "Three, four years from now I can see him getting a Supporting Actor nomination."
Yet, Lost isn't over just yet, and Jack still has some serious challenges to face. "When it's all said and done, you'll be able to look at the six seasons of Lost and see a pretty amazing character arc," Fox said. "Jack has been evolving, and not necessarily into a good place. We started the show with him being this hero who had no concept of what that required, sort of trying to live up to the expectations...and then finding the way to redeem himself."
Where Jack's arc will ultimately end, however, will likely remain a mystery until the series' final moments. "This show started with a plane crash on an island in the South Pacific, and it's going to have a very global and epic ending."

Lost Preview: Will Hurley Sink the Oceanic 6's Return Trip? Jan 20, 2009 04:07 AM ET by Matt Mitovich
When ABC's Lost kicks off its much-anticipated fifth season this Wednesday at 9 pm/ET (with a two-hour premiere), a body count almost immediately adds up. Who's leaving the trail of goons in their wake? Oh, it's just bad-ass Sayid and his new sidekick ... Hurley?! Jorge Garcia gave us a typically cryptic look at the new adventures of the Oceanic 6. Plus: Who from the island does the big guy miss most?
TVGuide.com: As an actor, how has the Season 5 storyline been different for you? Jorge Garcia: The story has been different and a little weird, and I'm just "following along in my book," so to say. But there is a confidence having done Hurley for now five seasons. There's a lot more instinct in the sense that I kind of know how Hurley goes now, how he would react to new situations.
TVGuide.com: Are you finding him to be a more active character this season? Garcia: There's definitely some stuff that picks up. And there are certain things Hurley does this season where I'm still trying to figure out how he gets to this point. That's what I'm most curious about. They like to skip around in the storytelling, you know.
TVGuide.com: So even though we've arrived at this certain point in the future, it's not necessarily continuous storytelling. Garcia: Right. They're not afraid to skip ahead even more if they want to, and then fill in that blank at a later date.
TVGuide.com: Hurley and Sayid have kind of a "buddy act" going on at the start of the season, don't they? Garcia: Yeah, that's how it starts. The season picks up right where the last one ended, when Sayid springs him from [the] Santa Rosa [mental hospital]. Then they go off together.
TVGuide.com: Are you having fun doing these different types of scenes with Naveen [Andrews]? Garcia: It's cool, because we hadn't worked too much together or in such a large chunk like we did this time.
TVGuide.com: Does Hurley do anything for the first time this season? Garcia: Hmmmm... . There are some firsts on the wardrobe front. [Laughs]
TVGuide.com: Are you in a James Bond-like suit or something? Garcia: Um, I can't say exactly what the outfit choices are. But in the first two or three episodes, it felt like a parade of costumes — which is obviously not something I'm used to. And I wasn't happy with all of the outfits, I have to say. [Laughs] You'll see why.
TVGuide.com: Do you think Hurley misses Sawyer? Garcia: Totally. Especially when the team kind of split up and a group of us set up camp in the Others' village, there was a lot of bonding between Hurley and Sawyer. And I think Hurley was definitely moved when Sawyer jumped out of the helicopter.
TVGuide.com: All eyes were kind of on Hurley... Garcia: Yeah. [Sawyer's sacrifice] had an effect on him.
TVGuide.com: How quickly does the Oceanic 6 make it back to the island? Garcia: That's a big focus of this season, the struggle to get back. How quick it happens depends on how they tell the story.
TVGuide.com: It's obviously not a matter of them simply reuniting and flying somewhere. Garcia: It's a bit more complicated, yeah. There's talk of us all getting there at the same time, and then there's talk of us getting there incrementally. Some of us go on this route, some go another route...
TVGuide.com: Ben says you all have to go back, and we always imagined at the same time. But that's easier said than done, you're saying. Garcia: There is stuff to figure out because things start getting more complicated off-island. At the moment when they're trying to gather people to go back, as you'd expect, "complications ensue."
TVGuide.com: Is the plan still to run all 17 episodes straight through, with no big breaks? Garcia: Yeah. Last season, they might have skipped a week before the finale and had a clip show day, so they might do that. But for the most part, it should run straight through.

"If the first episode of Lost that you ever see is the first episode of Season 5, you will not understand a majority of it," admitted co-executive producer Carlton Cuse, speaking to reporters at ABC's winter-TV previews in Los Angeles. Hopefully you're already a regular viewer. (If not, get going on those DVDs!)
Even so, it has been eight long months since the last new episode (Wednesday's three-hour premiere event begins with a one-hour recap episode at 8 pm/ET). Even if we have been watching, we can't be expected to remember every detail of such a rich, complicated show, can we? We've compiled this catch-up guide that tells you where most of the main characters (don't worry, Rose and Bernard are OK) were when we last saw them, and where they're headed this season.
A quick recap: Six survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 — and Desmond — were rescued and returned to civilization. The remainder disappeared into thin air when Ben "moved" the island. Where they moved, and how the Oceanic 6 will return to the island will be the season's two major narratives, but don't expect them to be simple or straightforward. In fact, don't focus on where the island is now; instead you should ask when it is.
[Full disclosure: Although I've seen the first three episodes of the new season, this guide is made up of pretty vague teases, and as such is basically spoiler-free. If you want to know more about Lost's new season, check out my colleague Matt Mitovich's reviews of Epsiodes 1, 2 and 3, which offer a bit more scoopage.]
BENJAMIN LINUS (Michael Emerson) WHERE WE LEFT OFF After moving the island with that "frozen donkey wheel" thing, Ben apparently left the island, since he pops up at the Hoffs/Drawlar Funeral Home to offer Jack & Co. assistance in getting back to the island. WHAT'S NEXT Ben is in Los Angeles, and he has a mission. And... he has help from one familiar and a few unfamiliar faces.
CHARLOTTE STAPLES LEWIS (Rebecca Mader) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Charlotte tells Daniel that she needs to stay on the island, so she can locate the place where she was born. WHAT'S NEXT That Charlotte-Daniel relationship is brought into sharper focus, as she begins to exhibit familiar behaviors.
CLAIRE LITTLETON (Emilie de Ravin) WHERE WE LEFT OFF A dazed and confused Claire wandered off in the middle of the night, leaving Aaron behind. Part of the Oceanic 6's lie/story gave the baby a new mommy: Kate. WHAT'S NEXT Lindelof and Cuse have announced that De Ravin will not be a series regular in Season 5, but that Claire will return at some point.
DANIEL FARADAY (Jeremy Davies) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Daniel was in a raft heading to the freighter when the sky went all crazy. WHAT'S NEXT It's clear that Daniel has some extra insight into the island's workings, which will come in handy as strange events begin to occur.
DESMOND HUME (Henry Ian Cusick) WHERE WE LEFT OFF His phone call to Penny spurred his unrequited love into action, and it's ultimately her boat that saves the Oceanic 6, whom he bids farewell as they leave to fake their rescue story. WHAT'S NEXT He may be off the island, but Desmond will continue to be a crucial element of the show's ongoing storylines in ways you might not have imagined.
HUGO "HURLEY" REYES (Jorge Garcia) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Hugo's post-island life takes place in the Santa Rosa mental institution, where a very grown-up-looking Walt visits him to ask why they're all lying. Soon after, Sayid arrives to break him out of the loony bin. WHAT'S NEXT It will take a lot of convincing to get the jumpy Hurley to go back to the island.
JACK SHEPHARD (Matthew Fox) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Sad Jack breaks into the Hoffs/Drawlar Funeral Home on the day of the wake for Jeremy Bentham (aka John Locke). Ben surprises him there and tells him that everyone — including Locke's corpse — have to return to the island together. WHAT'S NEXT Jack and Ben have a lot of work to do if they're going to reassemble the Oceanic 6.
JAMES "SAWYER" FORD (Josh Holloway) WHERE WE LEFT OFF When the helicopter ran out of fuel because it was too heavy, Sawyer jumped out of the helicopter and swam back to the island, shirtless, where he met a sad Juliet on the beach just before the island disappeared. WHAT'S NEXT Lindelof and Cuse have dubbed the new episodes "the season of Sawyer," saying that the focus will shift from the post-island Oceanic 6 to those left behind.
JIN KWON (Daniel Dae Kim) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Freighter went boom with Jin onboard. It doesn't look good for him, especially since we already know that Sun erected a gravestone for him back in Korea. WHAT'S NEXT But guess what? Kim is still a series regular! The producers have declined to say whether Jin is alive or dead, but as we all know, that hardly matters on Lost.
JOHN LOCKE (Terry O'Quinn) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Now we know it was a pseudonymous Locke in the coffin, dead of an apparent suicide. Before he offed himself, though, he visited Jack and Kate to recruit them in a return trip to the island, where "very bad things" had happened since they left. WHAT'S NEXT A lot of time elapsed between the departure of the Oceanic 6 and the funeral of "Jeremy Bentham." Locke's role among those left behind — and those who were already there — will be significant.
JULIET BURKE (Elizabeth Mitchell) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Juliet promises to stay behind to make sure everyone who wants to gets off the island. When she sees the freighter explode, she sits on the beach drowning her endless sorrows in a bottle of Dharma Initiative rum. She shares a significant smile with Sawyer when he washes ashore. WHAT'S NEXT Juliet knows more about the island than most; her former Other status will serve everyone well.
KATE AUSTEN (Evangeline Lilly) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Kate tells Jack there's no way she's going back to the island. To reinforce this point, she is visited in a dream by Claire, who warns her, "Don't you dare bring him back!" WHAT'S NEXT Someone knows the truth about Kate and Aaron, which prompts her into action.
MICHAEL DAWSON (Harold Perrineau) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Michael was also on the doomed freighter, a suicide mission that he saw as his path to redemption. WHAT'S NEXT "I'm working for the same network so anything can happen," Perrineau told the press while stumping for his new ABC cop dramedy The Unusuals. "You never know what Carlton and Damon are going to do."
MILES STRAUME (Ken Leung) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Miles unilaterally decides to stay on the island, why is unclear. WHAT'S NEXT Don't forget why Miles was picked for the freighter team to begin with. He has some serious ghostbusting skills, and he will definitely use them.
RICHARD ALPERT (Nestor Carbonell) WHERE WE LEFT OFF The creepy, ageless Richard and his band of merry men helped Kate and Sayid subdue the freighter commandos, and welcomed Locke to the Others' fold. WHAT'S NEXT At the winter-TV previews, Lindelof and Cuse reported that once CBS' Cane was canceled, they immediately secured Carbonell's services for the remainder of the series. Since he plays a big part in the Lost mythology, not doing so "would have been catastrophic," says Lindelof.
SAYID JARRAH (Naveen Andrews) WHERE WE LEFT OFF The once-and-future assassin packs some heat to break Hurley out of Santa Rosa. WHAT'S NEXT Hurley and Sayid are on the run together, but toward what goal?
SUN KWON (Yunjin Kim) WHERE WE LEFT OFF Embittered by the loss of her husband, Sun uses her Oceanic Air settlement to buy a controlling interest in her father's company. Then, she pays a visit to the insidious Charles Widmore in London, and — shockingly — offers to help him. WHAT'S NEXT Sun and Widmore's "common interests" become clearer. Not as clear are Sun's intentions.

This is what Lost boss Damon Lindelof promises me after tonight's two-hour season premiere, in which the Island claimed its latest casualty: Junkie Jack's scruffy facial rat's nest. (Hooray for Bic razors!)
Of course, it's that other apparent casualty who's really got us worried (the Lostie who's bloody knocking on heaven's door), not to mention the blast from the past who appears to be Daniel Faraday's mother, the revelation that Desmond is the key to everyone's survival and so much more...

What We Learned
Charlotte and Daniel Have Been Doing the Nasty! How else would you explain her headaches, nosebleeds, food cravings ("I figured we could use a bite") and forgetfulness ("What's my mother's maiden name?")? As someone who has suffered all these symptoms in the past seven months I can tell you precisely what is wrong with our girl Charlotte: She's pregnant! Either that, or the Island is working its seriously bad mojo on her increasingly fragile noggin, and she'll appear dead within the week. See, you're rooting for my ridiculous prego theory now, aren't you?
The Islanders Are Moving: We can't explain this better than Faraday did, but the Losties are moving. Well, the Losties or the Island, but my money is on it being the people, our favorite characters, being the ones that are skipping through time like rocks across the surface of a pond. According to the rules as explained by these two eps, the only things they can carry with them are items on their person or in their possession (compasses, clothes, flimsy watercraft). They can't change the future or the past (no killing Hitler or warning their friends about danger), with one notable exception: Desmond Hume. He is special, and the rules bend for and around him. And at long last we have a context for the identification of many of our characters as "special." Some of them are special because their mommies told them so (Charlie Pace), and some of them are special because they can defeat string theory by the sheer power of their native-born awesomeness (Desmond Hume). Got it? No? Us neither, but who cares? As Lost goes, so goes our nation. We're along for the ride until they throw us off.
Locke Down: After Locke was shot, Richard Alpert stopped by from the past and told him, "The only way to save the Island, John, is to get your people back here, the ones who left." Notice that he said save the Island. He didn't say save the people on the Island or save the world. He said save the Island. Which makes us wonder: Sure, it cures paralysis and cancer and offers lost souls redemption and yadda yadda, but really, why are we saving the secret Island?
Nobody Puts Locke in a Meat Locker! Well, except Benjamin Linus, who is prone to bouts of odd behavior, including pretending to fall from the sky via balloon, turning a frozen donkey wheel and now putting the man who appears to be a BFD (Big Frakking Deal) to the Island in a frigid storage room next to cuts of filet mignon. Though Damon told me "Locke looked pretty dead to me," something tells me he will totally be brought back among the living somehow. As Ben put it to the kindly meat-counter chiquita: "Keep him safe. Because if you don't, everything we're about to do won't matter."
Ladies, All the Ladies: Sun and Kate reunion! The two old friends reunited and talked about having their kiddos play together, but has Sun really forgiven Kate for surviving the freighter when Jin (apparently) didn't? Before that fight breaks out, however, it's nice to see the strategically superior Sun emerge as an ally and advisor for Kate when our favorite runner didn't know where to go next.
You Should Maybe Get That Cauterized: Welcome, Freighters! Don't ever leave! We weren't sure last year if Frank, Miles, Daniel and Charlotte were no-goodniks or just plain not good, but all four have more than proven themselves as excellent new elements. Miles' humor, Daniel's adorkable smarts, Charlotte's brash game-for-anything playfulness and Frank's warmth are all worthy additions to the series, and now we can hardly stand the thought of losing any one of them. Therefore, Darlton, Charlotte's nosebleeds better be curable. We are not giving Rebecca Mader back. Capische?
In Other News:
Frogurt died as he lived: ignobly. Rose and Bernard are still alive and bickering, and Damon and Carlton promised that they (along with dog Vincent) will be alive and bickering for some time to come. Yay!
Sayid is a badass ninja with a badass weapon: the dishwasher. Hurley also has a badass weapon: the almighty Hot Pocket. Ben got Jack off the junk. (Who needs 12 steps when you can have one?) Sawyer found a shirt. (You can't win 'em all.) Marvin Candle/Pierre Chang (François Chau) had a wife and kid back during the Dharma Golden Age, and we saw them all happy-slappy, before this catastrophe (first broadcast at Comic-Con '08) went down. Can this marriage be saved? We'll find out soon enough! It sure looks like Mrs. Hawking, the lady who told Desmond back in the day that he couldn't propose to Penny right then, is Daniel Faraday's mother. And Desmond better find her!

Easter Eggs
Did you catch Marvin Candle's reference to the hostile indigenous population? Do you think there is any relation to the people that Desmond's hatchmate referred to as the hostiles? And how the heck do they fit into the matrix of the Island ghosts, Jacob, the whisperers, forever-young Richard Alpert, Dharma and the Others? This show has explained a lot by this point, but the anthropology of the Island still makes no sense! In Papa Hurley's sitting room, the voice on the TV saying "Previously on Exposé..." was none other than executive producer Carlton Cuse. Maybe he's trying out a new career path in voiceover work?

One beloved Lostie will be in mortal danger by the end of next week's episode. OK, fine, it's Charlotte. Those nosebleeds are going to get much worse before they get any better. Luckily, she has Daniel Faraday on her side, and he has a wicked-bad crush on Charlotte, and he's going to save his crush object...Right, Lost? Right?
Miles sees four dead people next week, and the reason those dead people were on the Island in the first place might just explain many of the Lost mysteries. We'll be reminded next week that it's always handy to have an Other on your side. Look for Juliet to reveal another secret power of her Otherhood.

the back story on the Island was intriguing and Widmore being on the Island - so many levels of awesomeness
I wonder if the "young girl" on the Island is farraday's mom
and what was the best bit about this episode I realized half way through - no Jack and especially NO kate.
OMG I didn't even pick up on that pat!

Tonight was another amazing episode. Indeed, Eloise Hawking is Daniel Faraday's mom. We saw that death is John Locke's destiny and he managed to stop the time shifts. But how will the other members of the O6 join in?

I grew to love Charlotte. I didn't like her at first, just like I didn't like Juliet at first. I was hoping we'd see more of Charlotte this season.

You all think Charlotte is really dead? I hope they have another time flash and just like that shes no longer dead! I didn't like here in the beginning either but have grown to love her! If anything, she still has a back story to be told so it certainly won't be the last time we see her.

and to comment on the last 2 weeks episodes....
does it take 2 people to "move" the island 1 to move it and 1 to stop it, if they were jumping through time just because of a wonky wheel (:;)
and what is smokey that french guy losing his arm that way grossss
and last weeks episode was great. usually i cringe and loathe kate/jack centric sodes but this one rocked. so many questions left unanswered.

Locke will be in charge of The Others, wherever they are.
Sawyer can be in charge of The Losties. As long as Jack is killed or is forced to be alone, I will be very happy. And if Sawyer and Juliet can remain together, I'd like that too! :tup:

I love Sawyer but actually found myself rooting for Jack :lol:
I think Fake Locke is the smoke monster and our Locke is indeed dead :'( ....but if the bomb did what its suppose to do then is there a chance none of this happens so Locke is still alive? but will his legs work? omg there are so many scenarios! I need to rewatch like 20 times and now have time to do a Lost marathon ..again :yess:

Please. Jack needs to die. Kate needs to be thrown off a cliff. I preferred Juliet and Sawyer together. Sawyer should be the leader of the Losties. He's badass. Put him, Jin, Sun, Sayid and Hurley together and let the Others take Jack into their camp for a daily beating.
When Jack was being beat up in the last three episodes, those were my favorite parts of the show. :yess: :yess: :yess: :yess:

I'm running out of people left alive that I truly care about. Totally gutted that Juliet died, Locke I already figured he was dead - far to many clues. Charlie, Libby, Faraday, Frogurt (sarcasm) and other I'm sure I can't think of at the moment. Hurley will not die. If he dies next season, I will refuse to watch the season after that.
