I don't know! I think I heard a different show than Randy, Paula and Simon. I thought each one could recorded what they sang tonight, even Lakisha, bad ending not withstanding. What did Y'all think? Were they terrible or "Just OK" or do I need a hearing check?
LaKisha is going tomorrow, she knew it when she missed her last note. :'( Blake has a bigger fan base than she does.
It could be Blake/Jordin, or it could be Melinda/Jordin finalists. Depends on what the producers and Simon want, male/female finalists or Female/Female.
Puzzled and pondering acquiring a hearing aid in Texas..... ???

I'm still hoping for a Melinda/Blake final 2!!! :lol:
But I think Jordin probably was the best overall again last night. Blake did way too much beat-boxing for me!!! Melinda was her usual good self, especially on her last song.
Although she did pretty well last night, I think LaKisha will be the one going home!!!

I only started watching once Sanjaya was sent home and I must say that I think Jordin will win. She has a great voice and nice stage presence. So I think she will win but I must say Melinda is very good as well but I think Jordin will edge her out. I'm sorry but Blake doesn't do it for me.

bathfizzy: see, i started watching Idol because sanjaya was on! that kid definitely knew how to command attention-- albeit for the wrong reasons.

regarding blake, i'm sure blake is a bottom. har har.
i still think blake is really hot, even though i think he's packed on a few pounds since he's been on Idol-- i love it when guys stress out and stuff face. he also needs to skip the brown hair and go back to blond.
oh, speaking of hot, lately i've been all about HGTV's Bought & Sold (all about the drama that is Realtors/Brokers- sunday @ 10pm) and there's this one guy on the show that is hot, like really really hot. i wouldn't totally buy a house from a dumb jock if he promised to christian the house with me, you knows what i'm talking about, lol.

I forget the web adress but I found an online poll durring the top 4 "who do you want to win Ameriican Idol?" LaKisha had the least votes than blake then Jordin and Melinda had the most. SO far it has gone with the poll and I found something like it last year that went ALMOST the same way durring the top 6

That site is worthless, the best site and rather credible and accurate is dialidol.com.

BbK, Dialidol is what I watch to see what they predict. It's close isn't it!! They have all of them in danger, Blake at the bottom. I didn't like his last song, but they all did well so it will be a nail biter tonight. :waves:

I haven't gotten a chance to watch yet but I think this result might be the producers call. My personal opinion is for ratings as well as post idol success their best bet would be a Blake/Jordin finale with Jordin winning ala season 1. Melinda is great but if she won I think she would pull a Taylor Hicks, unconventional looking, has a very small demographic or niche that would buy her music. Plus in the past idols that didn't look like idols have faired well outside of the Idol realm. Not to mention no RnB singers from this show have had a stellar career. Unfortunately to sell records and to become a star it is about marketability and I don't think Melinda's voice is enough to make her a star.

If the best singer won: Melinda
If the best original talent won: Blake
Probably will win: Jordin squeeks out a win over Blake.
Blake's problem is that he probably doesn't appeal to the older crowd. Also, Blake seems to be a one trick pony. He's very talented, but I have nightmares of him becoming the next Vanilla Ice.

Well Taylor Hicks does and he hasn't sold jack crap when it comes to albums. The best bet is contestants that appeal to a younger demographic because they buys CDs and watch the show.

People, people, people, it's not about the best singer, it's about finding the most marketable American Idol, Melinda wouldn't stand a chance outside the Idol realm. Jordin will run away with this woohoo! Finally, they will get it right!

Well I'm in shock but I'm OK with the results. Bb and Puddin had it right. (And so did ZabaSearch.) It probably makes sense to have the younger singers compete for the final. Melinda will do fine. She will get lots of offers to sing.
Blake was sweet and considerate to Melinda, LaKisha and Jordin while they waited for the results. Class act! He'll do fine with his career.

100 percent Jordin will win, I guarantee it. Melinda fans will vote for Jordin. Split votes may have sent Melinda home though we will never know.

I'm thinking as an Idol..Jordin will do the best..
But as an entertainer...both Melinda and Blake will do great....
Jordin is the most versatile...she'll do well with what ever she does.
