We will have to start adding to that list who is more likely to attend, and who may not be there. I'll have to work on that tomorrow.

Ever get the idea that Survivor is stealing an idea from last years CBB-UK?

What do you mean, Jeff?

Poverty and Luxury. CBB last year used that, and now the next Survivor it sounds like they are going to be dioing the same thing (sort of).

Are you talking about CBB4?  The one with Chantelle?

Yea, I think that was it. Wasn't the last CBB the one with that division? I forget which is which considering I never saw them as they aired.

I saw the first half of that season and that wasn't it.  Maybe it was an earlier version.

By the way, I just finished watching a British insight on LOST, and one of the celebrities interviewed was BB7's Grace!  It took me by surprize.

bump!  More celebrities added to the list of "Rumored Houseguests" above.

The premire is tonight.  Actually, it'll air in Britian at 3PM EST!  Unfortunately for me (being a US citizen), I won't be able to download it until later tonight.

So there has been a lot of news about the housemates, and twists!  Where should I start?  Here's the sparknotes version of all the latest news:

-Channel4 confirmed that 11 celebrities will enter tonight.
-The House next door will be back!
-Nikki (bb7) has been rumored to be back
-Jade Goody (bb3, the most popular and successful BB HG in the UK) is also rumored to be entering the house.
-It has been comfirmed that on Friday night, there will be a live show.  It is going to be a twist.
-Newspaper "News of the world" has apparently comfirmed these names of celebrities entering:
+Robert Kilroy Silk: Politician/ Talk show host
+Paul Michael-Glaser: 'Starksy' of "Starksy and Hutch"
    +Lauren Harries: transsexual antiques expert
+Jermaine Jackson: brother of Michael Jackson and member of The Jackson 5
    +Justin Hawkins: Boy band singer
    +Shilpa Shetty: Bollywood actress
    +Dirk Benedict: A-team Star

I'm stoked "Face" will be in the series. I will start downloading this tonight. Can't wait!
As far as Nikki being back, I hear she will be a reporter as opposed to a housemate.

I think I read that somewhere.  Lea will reprot from the UK.  Gyln will report from Wales.  Shahbaz will report from Scotland.  Nikki will report from ???.

I think Nikki will be reporting from the water bottling plant.

What would we do without our Nikki? I think she needs to become a fill-in for Davina. LOL
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: TheCinera on January 03, 2007, 03:27:50 PM
Nah, I like Davina more.  Maybe Pete as a fill-in.  He'd be an absolute loon.  Maybe we could have Nikki as one of the Big Brother voices in the diary room!

But, without Nikki this season, it just wouldn't be Big Bruv.
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: Jeffrey Scott on January 03, 2007, 03:37:43 PM
I agree about the Davina part. I was just kidding about that. Who could replace Davina? It's just nice to have Nikki around for the comic relief. I've actually had my fill of Pete, but I think (in small doses) Nikki can keep coming back.

It seems like Britian hasn't had enough of Shahbaz either.  He is the best, I am so sad to see him go like he did.  Good thing he'll be back...as a reporter!!!!

Who could replace Davina?
If she was replaced, Big Brother would fail in the UK. :chute:

Maybe Shahbaz could report from the set of Mrs. Doubtfire with Robin Williams. LOL

Hey everyone... thought I'd make this my first place of posting!

I'm intrigued to see that you guys from the US are going out of your way to watch the UK version - I personally go out of my way to watch the US version instead as I find it so much more rewarding!!

Maybe it's the excitement factor for me of having to 'acquire' it rather than just switch the TV on, making it seem like more of an event but I've always thought that BB USA was much more interesting given the fact that in the UK version housemates are forbidden from talking about nominations or making strategies.

For me, that's a huge missed opportunity because it basically makes the show into a marathon session of people just sitting around doing nothing and getting on each other's nerves!

I must admit I do still watch BB UK but it's a really different show and I think the USA version is much better. Then again, I am a huge fan of Survivor (which, again, I have to acquire!) so perhaps that whole strategy and alliance thing is more my cup of tea.

Anyway, I can't possibly venture into any UK based sites talking about Celeb BB UK as they are scary to say the least (if anyone wants to see what I mean check out www.digitalspy.co.uk!) but I'll be interested to see what you folks make of it!

Oh, and by the way, if you're thinking you might be missing something because you'd never heard of most of the celebrities, well, neither had most of the UK so don't feel too bad. Quite a ropy celeb line-up this year methinks!

Donny to go out first I think (LOSER!)

James (from the UK)

James, welcome to the forum! We look forward to discussing the BBUK and CBB-UK with you.
I have the first episode downloaded, but have not had a chance to watch it tonight. I'll be saving that for tonight. I can't wait!
I'm not really all that worried about these celebs I have not heard of (most of them I've never heard of, some I have). When I watched
the recent Big Brother All Stars I was going in having only wtached the previous version of Big Brother with Howie, Kayser, Janelle and James.

As for downloading the episodes. Sometimes it's a pain like when you can't find any torrent of what you're looking for. Considering I have had to download several shows, I'm at least glad I have several hard drives with almost a total of 500 gigs.  :jumpy:

As for Survivor, at least most of those can be purchased in region one format. If you have a DVD player with region one coding, you can buy them for home. I wonder if BBUK is available on DVD.

At the end of the day, it is too bad we don't have a simpler, easier way to watch our favorite shows from whichever side of the pond we want to view. Yes, there is BBC-America over here, but I don't watch to many of the shows there, (though I did watch "Is There Life on Mars", which I thought was pretty good.

Again, welcome to the forum!

James, welcome to RFF!  Glad to see we got another fan of BBuk here!   :jumpy:

I've seen the launch (premire) episode, and I have about 10minutes left of the download before the second episode is finished, and I must say (without spoiling the episode to Jeff) that it was a great start to the season.  Gave me goosebumps.  Donny will be nominated first, and evicted soon after.

I never thought about that, how acquiring the episode is just as much fun as watching it.  You are 100% right, and maybe that's why I love BBuk more.

I think they do have BBuk on DVD, but the coding is only for those in Europe.  I'll have to look into that, but I have heard that previous seasons were on DVD.

Yes, but coding is not that much of a problem. They do sell Region 2 DVD players in America. You just have to know where to look.

Post by: JamesUK on January 05, 2007, 12:00:10 PM
Thanks for the welcome guys! looking forward to talking with you!

Yes the diary room is the same as this BB7.

Previous BBUK series are available as highlights DVDs only - I think they stopped around series 4 as they weren't great sellers. You'd need several hundred discs for a complete series, can you imagine? With an hour's show every day for 60 days plus BBLB and BBBM...

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: TheCinera on January 05, 2007, 12:04:31 PM
Yep.  Diary Room is the same.  Listen to what Davina says about it; how she describes it in the premire.

I didn't watch any of the Little Brothers, Big Mouths, or Big Brains in BB7.  This season, since it's only for a short amount of time, I'll begin watching all three.  Any idea which ones are good and which ones aren't, James?
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK

I watched BBBM a few times but I seriously can't stand Russell or his humour. I'd be interested in watching BBLB, but some of those secondary shows are hard to find in torrent form sometimes.
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK

I saw BBLB reunion special, and the special they had when they were going to bring back an evicted HG.  It was alright, but I hadn't watched any regular episodes yet.
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: JamesUK on January 05, 2007, 01:11:51 PM
I'd recommend BBLB as Dermot is a good presenter but stay away from Big Mouth as Russell Brand is the most bizarre person ever to appear on TV...!

If you have trouble getting any eps, see if you can get into www.uknova.com - it's the no.1 torrent site for UK TV shows, you'll find all 3 there.

It takes a while sometimes for spaces to open up but keep trying cause it's worth it!

Cheers

James

The page is blank when I go to the sign-up. I read the FAQ and it says only so many new members are allowed each day to stop spamming, so one needs to keep trying.
Odd, never seen anything like this, but I will try once more.

So James, TheCinera and I ended up watching a few of the Princess Nikki episodes. Did you, and if so, what did you think of it?

Thanks for the website, but I'll stick to my usualy websites as I don't have to sign up.  I usually get my BBuk shows through a program called mIRC.  It's alot faster than torrents, but I use torrents for back-up.

BTW, James, please don't spoil for us the Family twist that will be happening soon.  I know that it's almost time for it to start in the UK, but I won't be able to see the episode until tomorrow.

You know, it occurred to me as I was watching last night's family twist show that you probably would end up being a day behind me, don't worry, no spoilers though!

I'm guessing you've probably seen it now though? It was no surprise to me at all because the papers here have been full of this particular story since before the show even began!

That's one thing that's very interesting about BB UK- it's basically a national event now every series - every newspaper and TV show is full of BB news throughout the summer here in the UK whereas for some reason I don't get the impression that it's such big deal in the US.

I've always wondered whether this is because our guys are on our screens every night for 12 weeks and also 24 hours a day on E4 - that's one thing I did always wonder about the US version, why only 3 shows a week when there is so much to fit in (HOH, Veto, Elimination!)

I've never watched the live feeds from BBUSA but I get the impression they'd fill in quite a lot of gaps which 3 hours a week just can't fill!

Hope you enjoy the live family show guys - I'll be sitting down in an hour or so for tonight's installment!

Cheers

James

I just got all caught up with the live shows yesterday, and it was fantastic!  Still, I knew from speculation that Jade was going in, so that was no shocker for me.  But a surprize eviction will happen on Wednesday!  Whoopie!  Evict Jackiey!  Something about her I just don't like.

Yeah, Big Brother here in the US has a bad reputation.  Reality TV is looked down upon as un-ethical, and locking people in a house is even worse (to the media).  I keep reading articles in newspapers and online entertianment sites wondering why the show is still on.  Thankfully, Big Brother 8 USA has been greenlighted (as far as I know).

BB1 in the USA used to follow the same format as they do in Britian.  A daily show every night, nominations by each contestant in the Diary Room, Viewers vote to evict housemates, etc.  The viewers here got so confused how it all worked that they voted out all the interesting people and only the boring stayed.  That's why they changed the entire format in BB2.  They do have live feeds, and they always have loads of strategy talk on them, but CBS is too stiff when it comes to air their show (they want to air other shows), so they cram it all into thrice-weekly one hour episodes.  I would love to see daily shows, but, maybe, it might turn off viewres from the channel completely if they see that BB is always on.

Can't wait to see the next episode when it becomes available for us.  I heard what happened to Donny.  Uh-oh! :naughty:

Donny! LOL, what a laugh. Was there a moment in the house he was not liquored up? He doesn't even remember entering the house. I wonder what inspired him to go in in the first place.

I agree TheCinere, Jackie needs to go and I'm sure she will be the one to go. No one is going to keep her over one of the celebrities or Jade or Jack. I think it'll be a landslide. Of course, I'm not so sure how many votes Ken will get. he seems to be a really good sport about things so that may give him a few votes.

As for the hosue next door, they seem to be taking things in great stride. Wow, I'd forgotten how old Dirk actually is now, still I'm pulling for him to win (I love it when a plan comes together). Oh, and I LOVED his house enterence. Even Davina thought the A-Team enterence was fun!

Wow, are most American missing a great show!!!!! I'm axiously awaiting each episode.

I agree with you 100%.  Must. Recuit. More. People.

Now, any of you heard the latest news about Ken?  Oh no!  It's like BB7 all over again.

Donny is a hoot.  Getting drunk on the first night was hilarious, but it will still hurt him in the long run.
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK

Good old Donny - I knew he wouldn't last long, LOL!!! Although escaping via the roof is a bit of a cliche now (anyone remember Sandy from a previous BB series, I think he was the first...)

As for the whole family thing, well to be honest it's nearly put me off watching now. Jade was entertaining in a car crash way during her season and since then I've tolerated her spin-off series about opening her beauty salon, "creating" her own perfume and hiring an assistant, "Apprentice"-style...

But for her to come into the house and claim that she's in the paper every day, "at least twice a week on the front page", that she sells more magazines than Victoria Beckham ( ) and that she's the 25th most influential person in the world (WTF?) is at best completely delusional and at worst absolutely obnoxious.

And as for her godawful mother and cheating rat boyfriend, well they can get lost too as far as I'm concerned - we already saw more than enough of Jackiey following Jade's eviction from the house first time around and she's definitely outstaying her welcome in the public eye over here. These really are the worst type of people, completely brain dead morons who somehow end up in the public eye and think they've become important.

I guess it's probably hard for you guys to appreciate just what trash Jade really is but as soon as she opens her mouth it's pretty obvious to me!

[Rant Over!]

James

James, I may not know Jade and I didn't get a chance to see her season. This last season was my first BBUK, (Ironically the BBUS Version just before the all stars was also my first American season, so overall I'm fairly new to the whole phenomonon. However, you wondered why American don't have BB on more often. I have to admit, before I got a DVR, my excuse for not waching Big Brother was it was on far to oftne and I missed a lot of episodes, so I never tuned in. That may be a small glimpse into why Americans don't have it on every day. To be fair though, now that I've started to watch it, I wish it was on every day like the UK version (of course that may be my DVR talking) LOL.

Currently I'm downloading last nights episode and probably won't get it till tongiht. I've been having computer technical difficulties that I'm still trying to work out. For some reaoson when I try to download a program, every ten minutes my comptuer will restart. It only does that when I'm downloading something so I need to investigate the problem. In the meanwhile, it takes a lot longer for me to download a prgram because if I'm not watching my computer I am not able to restart the download. Fortunately it saves the progress each time. Perhaps I should look into downloading the MiRC way. (Tips TheCinerea would be fine.)

Oh, my whole point about Jade, almost forgot about that. I could tell as soon as she opened her mouth she was lying. I listen to enough BBC radio and websites and papers to know she's not famous. More like a Z-class celebrity. Didn't Jermaine Jackson make some comment along those lines?

PPG, check your PM box.  I sent you the info!  Hope you enjoy the show.

I've known who Jade is for a while.  I was in Britian with my family when her season was on TV, and I checked out the show the first night I was there, but I couldn't keep track of what was going on, so I gave up.  I remember seeing at gas stations that the morning papers were flooded with Front Page headlines about Big Brother, and I was frustrated that the show wasn't this popular back at the USA.

Jeff, do you want me to send you tips on how to download on mIRC?  If so, then I am going to have to send it to you by e-mail.  I know what your e-mail is already, but I was just wondering if maybe your problem is because of spyware.  Have you done any cleansing of your hardrive or have you figured out the problem already?

So I just finished watching the episode that Donny escaped, and from the 15 (or so) minutes that I saw of Jade, I already can't understand a word she says.  Maybe it's the accent.  But the longer they stay in the house, the longer they'll drive the viewers and the celebrities crazy.  I'm already afraid to move on to the next episode.  According to the bets: (possible spolier. hightlight here) Jack (boyfriend) is going to be evicted.  Jade is least likely to be evicted.   (end highlight).  I don't mind if that person goes.  They can walk out any day, and I wouldn't care.
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: JamesUK on January 09, 2007, 03:15:38 AM
Hey, I was wondering if you guys were still watching this! LOL...

I think I'm actually on the same time frame as you guys now as I've started recording it and watching it the next night as it's on too late for me (9 o'clock till 10?, no chance!!)

The episode I watched last night (which aired Sunday night in the UK) has to be one of the most uncomfortable pieces of TV I've ever seen.

It's now painfully obvious why they decided to put Jade and her family in and it's certainly having the desired effect as the atmosphere in that house is horrible, but I have a feeling that it's actually going to put people off watching because the situations are just becoming too tense to even be entertaining!

Jackiey and Jade are some of the most obnoxious people you could ever meet (although I'm starting to have slightly more respect for Jade purely because she is so embarassed by her mum's behaviour) - they have that true arrogance that only people who are suddenly thrust from absolute nothingness into the public eye seem to have. Unfortunately our country is becoming more and more overrun with these types of people, who never work or contribute anything to society but expect everything to be handed to them (and it frequently is, thanks to our welfare state system), and have huge chips on their shoulders about how the world is so down on them.

Actually from watching Jackiey laying into Shilpa last night for no apparent reason it seems to me she might have some kind of mental illness as this isn't normal behaviour. I've seen her before and thought she was quite strange but this is even worse - I think the producers may have misjudged things by putting these guys into this stressful situation!

Regarding Jade and her 'fame' - The odd thing is, in actual fact Jade is very famous in the UK, but not in a good way - she's famous in a kind of Paris Hilton "what is this dumb girl actually famous for" type-way and she gets a lot of bad press, but she's right, she does sell papers, like it or not! To put herself in the same league as Victoria Beckham though is just plain delusional!

At least she can still bring some of the unintentional "oh my god how dumb are you" humour to the show, though. Some of the classic quotes from last night's show included "No one knows how high the sky is, do they?" and (to Jermaine Jackson) "So, are you really black?"

Actually the whole segment where she attempted to get the low-down on Michael and his problems from Jermaine was for me the most uncomfortable piece of the whole series. It really was a case of 'you're not actually going to ask that, are you, oh god, yes you did!' Someone give this girl a talk show!

I guess the whole thing about Jade is the humour in her stupidity but to be honest (and I felt the same about last year's celeb BB winner Chantelle), I really really can't stand people who think it's funny to be stupid, and even worse make themselves famous for being stupid.

Someone asked about Jade's accent - I'm not surprised you can't understand her as I can't either a lot of the time! It's a combination of talking very fast and talking in the way that a lot of young people talk in the UK today. It's basically a really lazy form of the London 'cockney' accent crossed with a Jamaican accent (yes, really - a lot of young people in cities today seem to think they're rappers or something and talk as if they were black...!)

Anything else of note in last night's episode? Although Jackiey is obnoxious I didn't quite get why Shilpa was so upset by her really getting into the task and playing the master as she was supposed to - especially when she'd revealed earlier in the show that she has 4 servants at home, 2 chauffeurs, a make-up artsist and a bodyguard! A bit close to home maybe?

James

Here you go, this is what I was trying to say!

Celebrity Big Brother contestant Ken Russell has branded Jade Goody and her family "slum dwellers".

*SPOILER DELETED*

The stress of sharing a house with the "vulgar" Jade and her mother, Jackiey, made him fear he would have a stroke.

"I grew up in the slums of Southampton and we had a word for people like that - guttersnipes.

"There should be a Devil's Island where we can send these people, they're all going to Hell anyway," Russell said.

"I've met people from all walks of life but no-one so vulgar. It's almost as though they've been programmed to be vulgar, horrible and objectionable.

"They speak in a language which is deliberately limited. They didn't even seem to know how to use a knife and fork."

Jade entered the house with mum Jackiey and boyfriend Jack Tweed.

Russell, 79, said: "I tried to get on with them, but they acted like royalty. They looked down on everyone. They were name-dropping or going on about sunbeds."

The Women In Love director has previously suffered a stroke.

James, I'm on the same page as you when I didn't quit get Shilpa in this episode. Being so down I wanted to slap her, and I like her! But I think it was a mix of Jackie and as you say, being too close to home. I think Shilpa is hurt because people see her as uppity, snobbish and upper crust when deep down (at least it seems) she isn't. I don't think she wanted that sterotype and it's been thurst on her because of this whole servent task.

Then later in the show we see Jackie (and this has been my first exposure to her) and how she goes on and on, and I think that has added to Shilpa's aloofness. (sorry Shilpa, you ARE being aloof).

Now as for Jade, I can't believe how dumb she really is. Yes, the bit with Jermaine was uncomfortable. "No one knows how high the sky is." LOL. Ken is having an epiphiny moment and she ruins it with her stupidity. Well, actually didn't ruin it, that's what makes the show. LOL Ironic how I've never had a moment where I couldn't understand her. I didn't realize it was a problem for anyone else.

Back to Jackie, no matter what the rumour say, I think she is gone tomorrow. How can she not be? If she is what's causing the ratings to take a nose-dive, she will receive the least number of votes. Because of her Donny and now Ken have fled. (Though I'm just speculating on why Ken left from the bedroom scene). "Oh dry up!" Classic! You go Ken! Well, sorry to see you go. I'd rather have more Ken than Jackie any day.

TheCinera, yes feel free to email me. I've been working on the problem of downloads and I think I may have it licked, but I should try the MiRC way as well. Especially if it's faster. Normally it takes me about (when its working properly) an hour and a half to download a show.

Hmmmm, anything else? I have yet to see last nights show thoguh I do have it downloaded. I hope to watch that as well as tonights show tonight and be right on top of things by tomorrow.

James, there is one question I was going to ask considering I've only seen the last season of Big Brother along with this one.
Is it usually very common for people to just walk out? I don't recall the last time they ever did that in the American version and this is the one thing that has taken me by surprise. So far I've seen Shahbaz, George, Donny and Ken all leave. Even Dawn (in my opinion) walked on her own. Is this normal? Do they normally send in replacements or not? Thanks!

I was puzzled by Big Brothers quick response to Jackie asking for the heat to be turned down till I realized that everyone else was comfortable with the heat. Big Brother sure is a stinker. I think Big Brother needs to go on Holliday again! LOL

Jeff, check your e-mail.  Sent you the link to the instructions for mIRC.

I still haven't seen Day5 (Sunday's episode) yet.  I've been a little busy today, and I'm still scared to see it (Jade and Jackiey are annoying).

Hi Guys!

Well, another great piece of TV last night (Monday's episode) - Ken and Jade were priceless, although I thought that considering what Jade's actually capable of when she really gets angry (and you guys have GOT to check out her season's highlights DVD!), she wasn't actually that bad to him.

"I think you're a bit demented love, you should be wearing a strait jacket!"

Superb - Ken tells it like it is!

Is it just a coincidence that Jade was mentioning her grandad and getting tearful and then lo and behold him and her gran arrive for dinner?! Or did she know they were coming, I wonder? I must admit that when I saw them arrive my heart sank, I thought how much more of this can we take - HOWEVER, they were a breath of fresh air on the show and led me to wonder on more than one occasion how on earth two such normal kindly old folk managed to give birth to the demented creature that is Jackiey! Even Jermaine and Shilpa (or Shipla as she still seems to be called more often than not!) seemed a lot happier when they were there.

The only sour thing for me was Leo Sayer and his foulmouthed assesment of the evening once he got back to the Servants' quarters. He's coming across as increasingly bitter, and I couldn't believe his whole conversation the other night about how he hates "celebrity" and the whole "celebrity culture" - HELLO, did you not think when you applied for *Celebrity* Big Brother that there might be a fair amount of that involved?!

What else, oh yes, it was interesting to get a bit more of a glimpse into Jackiey, the lesbian ex-prostitute! I still think she actually has some kind of mental problems, you can tell from the way she talks and seems to be shaking all the time.

So, as for people walking out - well, I'm trying to cast my mind back, I have seen all the series as they were on but get mighty confused as to which was which.

So - (thanks Wikipedia!) it looks like no-one walked out until BB3, when 2 people walked out but were both replaced by new housemates.

(As an aside, here's what BB3's Wikikpedia page has to say about Jade:

Housemate Jade Goody became notorious for startling feats of ignorance. She harboured the belief that Mother Teresa was related to Albert Einstein (which she pronounced Heinzstein) and Sherlock Holmes (whom she believed invented toilets), that Rio de Janiero was a person and East Anglia was a foreign country. Two of her most famous quotes, both of which indicate the paucity of her general knowledge are: "They were trying to use me as an escape goat" and "Do they speak Portuganese in Portugal?". It is emblematic of today's society that Jade Goody has come out the house the most well off, admitting in Sky One's show Why reality TV is good for you that she is a millionairess; the tabloids started a hate campaign of unseen proportions during her stay in the house, before switching to giving her sympathetic coverage when they began to fear that she might be psychologically damaged if she left the house to be met by the hatred they had helped to foment.)

On BB5, no-one walked out but two people were removed from the house against their wishes - one ( a girl) for severe agression againat other housemates whilst drunk, and the other (another girl!) for continually breaking the rules and trying to be a rebel. I think they were replaced as well...

On BB6, someone actually left the house on Day 65 which seems crazy to me! She was also replaced by someone who had earlier failed to make it into the house from a 'secret garden' (like the house next door from BB7), 3 people lived there for a few days and then only 2 made it into the house.

So, yeah, people have walked out quite regularly!

Was that in depth enough for you? LOL...

James

That information was very much appreciated.
I tried to download last nights episode but I couldn't find it anywhere! I see it's available now. I hope I don't have to wait for tonights episode till tomorrow because I may have time to watch them both later tonight.
So, any favorites? Personally Leo is beginning to grate on my nerves. I'm really liking Cleo or Dirk. Is it just me or is Jo hiding half the time? I rarely see her unless she's nowhere smoking a cig.

Celebrity Big Brother Update:
Spoiler Warning: Highlight if you want to see who was just evicted from CBB
No surprise here. Jackie was evicted.
I accidentaly saw this while browsing around the internet at worrk. TheCinera, that IS the big drawback of having the show to popular. I"m sure it's hard for James to NOT here who is evicted once it happens.
So, thoughts anyone?

Well, Jeff, did you ever get the e-mail?  If not, then I'll send it again.

I did just see BBLB Day 5, and Chantelle has black hair!  I dont like it, she looks too emo.  She was cuter when she had blonde hair.  She was funny talking about Dirk (or "Duck" as Shilpa calls him).  Jermaine was meloning (whatever that means).  Still need to see Day5 daily.  I have the rest of the night free so I may catch up on that or finish the rest of Two-a-days.  Whichever.

Yeah, poor James, he'd have to not get the daily paper in the morning, not log online, and not turn on his TV news just to aviod news of the eviction.  It's ok, I don't mind the BB spoliers.  The only spoliers I don't like are TAR spoliers cause that is a quality show!

My favorites so far are Leo, Shilpa, and Danielle.  Cleo is a great watch too.  Shilpa and Danielle are good looking.   :-[  Anyone have their picks for the winner?  Or at least the 6 who will make it to the finals?  My pick if for Dirk to win.  He'll at least make it to the finals.

Thank you James for all that Info.  I am so glad we got someone from the UK who watches BB in the forum.   :hugs:

Well luckily enough for me, I did catch the eviction show as it happened... I say luckily, I did have to endure the evicted houseguest's interview which was nearly as bad as their time in the house!

But yeah, otherwise I would have logged on to my Yahoo account this morning to immediately find out who was evicted which could have been annoying, plus, yeah, a quick glance at this morning's news stand or watching TV this morning would also have spoiled it.

I'm with you though, it doesn't actually matter too much to me to know who goes and who stays with BB UK, because it doesn't really affect the rest of the game in the same way as an eviction from BB USA or Survivor does. Since there aren't alliances as such then it's anyone's guess as to who's out next, whereas who goes in BB USA or Survivor can have a major impact on the way the rest of the game plays out.

In BB UK, it's really down to who's annoying people, they'll be nominated and then they'll probably get evicted too - the downside of this is that nine times out of ten, you get left with the most boring people under the sun in the house at the end because they didn't annoy anyone so they never get nominated... I'm thinking Imogen BB7!

Before catching the eviction show (I only saw the eviction part of it and not the Day 7 recap, might get to see that tonight), I caught up with Day 6, which saw the end of the master and servants task.

Some of the UK BB sites had people claiming they abandoned the task because of the tension it was causing, but it seems to me they didn't plan it to last for more than a couple of days anyway so that seems a bit far fetched. However, it's clear it was getting to some of them by the end, Leo in particular had reached a bad place as his behaviour on Day 6 showed - I started to worry about him actually with his sullen childlike behaviour in the morning (and demanding his contract was priceless!), and then the 360 degree turnaround in the afternoon when they were finally allowed out, back to his manic self. I think he's right, being put in that situation really has brought out a not very nice side of him.

Anyway, I thought Dirk and Shilpa was quite amusing, he's been quite sweet about it, and I can understand as she's an extremely attractive woman! She seems a bit embarassed about the whole thing though...

Jackiey couldn't resist getting into another row though, unbelievable! Over some takeaway menus... okay, whatever!

So, who do I like... well, yeah Dirk's been quite fun, I like Shilpa for obvious reasons, Cleo is too nice for her own good, I think I also like Ian more than I expected having previously found him to be a bit of a fool!

TAR spoilers -yeah I've been trying to avoid them too but I'm itching to know which teams are actually in the race. Seems impossible to do without finding out which order they finish in (and I might have accidentally seen the final three - D'OH!)

One thing I meant to say was - I'm sure Davina said last Friday night that the two members of "the family" who got the least votes would be leaving - I'm presuming that they cut that back to one because of Donny and Ken walking out!

James, I don't recall her saying the bottom two would be eliminated but I can double-check that tonight. I've got the episode on my home computer.
As for Tuesday's show; I was thinking I missed a spoiler because Leo looked like he was going home for sure. Then he gets his contract, and effectively says 'oh', and not another word is spoken. LOL I'm surprised as many people like him. The whole Dirk (or Duck) and Shilpa (or Shipla) thing was funny. Dirk is a great sport and so is Shilpa. I would have to agree, it would be far to hard for the two of them because of the age and culture difference.

Big Brothers Little Brother; I've been trying to keep up on this. That Dermot is a stinker, making me think Shilpa left the house. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
Loved the visit to Davina's room, why do I like her so much? I've come to really like Dermot. I'm glad there is a 'spin-off' news show that I like.

I was real close to having last nights show downloaded. Well, it's available tonight when I get home.

Cinera, I never got any mail from you yet.

Oh yeah, that was classic! I also enjoyed his impression of Pete when he went into the house, all goes to show he's not as old and out of it as some might like to think!

I have nothing new to add as I haven't seen anything else for a day or so but I was just wondering if you guys listen to the RFF Radio podcast - I'm catching up at the moment and the last one I heard was from early December where someone (Mark?) left a voicemail to say that Celeb BB was coming in the UK and it was going to have K-Fed and the Hoff on it... I just wondered if anyone had done a follow up voicemail to say who's actually on it (and try and recruit some more viewers!)

If not, I might just leave my first voicemail today, I've been meaning to leave one for a while but I wanted to have something useful to add instead of just 'yeah Trevor's laugh is really strange'!

James, I think all three of us should! I've been meaning to call for the past few days and will try and call again today. I wanted to wait till the first eviction.

Oh, and believe it or not, I'm totally caught up! I just finished Thursday's show. What I'm upset about is they did not show nominations. However, they did mention who is up for eviction. Highlight below if you want to find out.

Spoiler:
Carole, Dirk and Leo are all up for eviction. I think Leo may be leaving after that whole 'contract' thing.

Ha, so you're ahead of me now - well how did that happen, eh?!

How on earth did they not show nominations - that's just weird. That's never ever happened before, normally we always get to see nominations. Did they not explain why we didn't see them?

Perhaps Thursday night's show was so packed full of exciting happenings that they didn't have time to show them!

Okay Rob and Trevor, brace yourselves for a voicemail from the UK!!

Yes, James, that was me who left the voicemail about K-Fed and The Hoff back in Decemeber.  My real name is Mark.  I never even thought about doing a follow-up voicemail.  Maybe I might call this weekend about something (maybe news of Tonight's eviction?).  Can't wait to listen to the podcast to hear what you both had to say!

I am WAAAYYY behind.  I haven't even seen the episode of Ken's Departure yet, but I did see Day5.  I have today and tomorrow free so I can finally catch up (and finish the Two-A-Days: Season 1 Marathon too).  I think I'll watch the next episode of BBuk in a few minutes.

I heard about the nominations.  In my opinion, it will be Carole  who leaves because they are not popular with the public.  Heck, their betting stats was as bad as the Goodys.  I wouldn't mind seeing that person leave.  If the other left, I'd cry.  I love watching them.

Big Brother chaos as Leo walks out
Celebrity Big Brother has been thrown into chaos after another star - Seventies pop singer Leo Sayer - quit the show on the day he was up for eviction. Curly-haired Leo, 58, is the third person to quit, after wannabe bad boy rocker Donny Tourette and film-maker Ken Russell also walked out. The housemates commented on his departure: "Oh well, another one bites the dust." The singer is thought to have knocked down the door with a shovel in a row over pants before quitting. Glum-faced Danielle Lloyd, 23, said after Leo's sudden departure: "I don't like everybody feeling sad. "I didn't like to hear Leo fighting. When he said 'well that's it, I'm going to go' I really didn't think he was going to go. I don't want anybody else to go. I don't want anyone else to walk out." Former S Club star Jo O'Meara, 27, added: "I've never known this to happen on this show." Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, 31, commented about Leo: "He didn't want to stay, it was very undignified for him." Actress Cleo Rocos, 44, added: "He said he doesn't have a TV didn't he? "So he doesn't know what the show is like, we know the programme," to which her housemates added: "Then he shouldn't have come in here."

More to the story I posted. Again, highlight for all the spoiler info.

Wild-haired Seventies disco king Leo Sayer has dramatically left the Big Brother house - after a disagreement about underwear.
The Endless Flight singer forced his way through one of the walls with a broom after his request for more pants was turned down by Big Brother. The 58-year-old, who was the bookie's favourite for eviction on Friday night, went into the Diary Room to ask for some extra undies. "I don't wash my own clothes," he said. "Not in this house, not in front of the others. That's demeaning. It's not good enough." Following a heated exchange, Leo stormed out of the Diary Room and told the others he was leaving. "Don't be daft," said Geordie journalist Carole Malone, while cigar-puffing A-Team actor Dirk Benedict offered his assistance. "You can have some of mine," he helpfully suggested. But Leo didn't want to know, and became the third contestant to make an unorthodox exit from the show after Ken Russell walked out and Donny Tourette climbed over a fence. The producers of the show have confirmed Leo's departure, and closed his voting lines. Viewers can continue to vote to evict either Carole or Dirk. Leo's abrupt escape left the other housemates bemused. "Everyone's going mad in here," remarked former S Club Seven singer Jo O'Meara.

Well good news that Carole went but I think it's very unfair that the eviction still went ahead - it was obvious to everyone that Leo was going to be evicted - seems to me he invented the whole pants argument just to have an excuse to walk out, he must have known he was going to be evicted. If you notice, he already had his jacket on when he went to ask about the pants so he was clearly planning to leave!

I don't think anyone in the history of the show has broken down a door to get out though - that was a big shock.

His behaviour when he was talking to the producers and he thought the cameras were off was shocking as well, so it's not like he was playing up to the cameras!

Strange man...

Didn't get round to leaving a voicemail yet, might try today although I might not talk too much about CBB if you guys have already mentioned it!

Cheers

James

I only left a message on who was in the house, I have not mentioned the family twist, who has walked, or that Jade and her family have entered so there is plenty to leave a message about regarding CBB.

Leo is a twit as far as I'm concerned. He's so worried about his 'celebrity status'. Too bad Hasselhoff wasn't a filler celebrity if his other engagements are over. However, I think that may not happen. A rumour I heard was another family was entering the house. I'm not looking forward to that.

The TV watchdog has received 200 complaints from viewers that Bollywood star Shilpa is the victim of racist bullying.

Ofcom has reported the new troubles following the show's plummeting ratings and the walkout of three celebrities. The Indian beauty was branded a "dog" by disgraced former Miss Great Britain Danielle who blamed Shilpa for Carole's eviction on Friday night. Both Danielle and Jo have imitated Shilpa's Indian accent, while Jade's evicted mum Jackiey dubbed her "The Indian" and refused to learn how to pronounce her name. Some fans have been upset by what they believe is racist behaviour and have been voicing their concerns on internet forums. Housemate Jermaine thinks that Jade's gang - including JO and Danielle - are jealous of her and Ian told him he thought the house was turning into Lord of the Flies. A Big Brother insider said if producers thought there was abuse, bullying or racism going on, they would take a very serious view. But anti-racism campaigners are demanding BB bosses take action if it is proved Shilpa has been the victim of racially-motivated abuse.

Is Dirk Benedict next to walk out?

A-Team star Dirk Benedict has been putting on a grumpy face in the Celebrity Big Brother house, complaining: "This is such a girlie show." The 62-year-old A-Team star has compared the antics in the house with those in girls' dormitories. With Dirk snuggled up in a foul mood, singer Jermaine Jackson and Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty sat at his bedside listening to his moans. "I'm sure girls' dormitories are like this," Dirk huffed. "This is such a girlie show, that's why all the guys left. It drives you nuts!" Jermaine said he was "fed up of feeling the tension". Dirk, who played Templeton "The Face" Peck then vented his spleen about the younger housemates waking him up when they went to bed. Referring to the controversial arrival of the Goody family, he added: "And that family episode..." Dirk, who described himself before entering the house as "a recluse", also turned down an offer from Jade Goody to take part in a drinking game. This year's contest has lost some of the sparkle of former years, according to one of Britain's biggest betting firms. Bookies William Hill have seen less than half as much bet on the result compared to the same time last year and blame the downturn on the three "most interesting" housemates walking out and the failure of a clear winner to emerge. Bad boy rocker Donny Tourette was the first to go on Day 3, vaulting the wall. He was followed by snoring film director Ken Russell, who was granted a request to leave on Day 5 after a spat with Jade and her mother Jackiey. Songsmith Leo Sayer followed five days later in dramatic style, forcing his way through a door in the wall with a broom. "At this stage last year we had taken over £200,000 on who would win Big Brother and we have taken less than half of that figure," said Hills spokesman Rupert Adams.

The housemates did not like the Goody twist.  They were great to begin with, but now the only way these celebritys are leaving the house are through the diary room door, not the front door.  And I thought this season we wouldn't have as much quitters as Big Brother 2006.

Thanks Rudy - nice to be here!

Actually BB UK isn't being broadcast in the US at all - I think the only way the other forum members are keeping up with the goings on is by downloading episodes from the internet, anyone can do it though, it's quite easy!

I don't have much to say about Sunday night's episode except that Danielle is a bitch and blaming it on alcohol doesn't really wash with me! And that the Jackson 5 tribute band is easily the best moment of the show so far...

I didn't think it was being aired in the U.S.  Thanks for telling me!  If I DL'd it from Net, then could I save & play it on Windows Media Player?  Or from the player on a site?  If from a site, it will be choppy as heck.  I don't know why it does that on my comp.  I've checked my Internet Opts and everything is set right.  I can't get UTube either.  Takes forever and a day to watch a video!  :groan:

I'm outa of here now! :nitenite:  What time is it in the UK right now, James? (if you're still here!)

Hi Rudy, when you posted that it was 9.03 am in the UK! I've just arrived at work hence my being here on the forum (LOL!)

I actually just rang and left my first voicemail for Rob and Trevor - I hope Rob's phone doesn't actually ring and wake them up at this time of the morning, LOL! I had fun leaving it but I have a feeling it was loooooong so won't get played.

We'll see on Thursday I guess!

Yes, if you download the episodes you can play them on your Windows Media Player, you don't have to stream them, You'll need fast broadband internet access though or each show would take days to download! I know the other guys here will be able to help you if you need it!

Cheers

Hi James, I have a 56k modem, but the connection speed is usually 45.2.  I'm on Dial up.  If Broadband means DSL, I do not have it.  Maybe someday!

Well I'm glad to know I can use WMP, b/c usually play just about everything on it.

What is the Big Brother UK address to get the DL's?

Thanks James! I'm really gone this time!  You have a wonderful day and thanks again for your help!  :waves:

Rudy, you need to download the episodes as torrents. You can find a good torrent site such as www.mininova.org. There you can download files called torrents. But you'll need a decoder such as bitlord. You can find that at www.bitlord.com. After the files are downloaded they will be on your computer and you can watch them at your leasure. Just make sure you have enough free space on your comp to save the episodes. If you have about 10 gigs of freespace, you have more than enough. However, as James was saying, with a dial-up access it may take a few days for each episode. Even with my highspeed download internet it can take four hours if there are not enough seeds to download from. Hope that helps. If you have any additional questions, feel free to PM me.

James, did you mention any CBB news? I still have not gotten to Sunday yet. Been very busy the past few days. Tonight American Idol starts and I need to watch that.

No, not much news - things seem to be settling down a bit now although the UK media is full of these racism stories, seems like fuss about nothing to me, it's just a bunch of girls being bitchy like girls always are!

You have to watch Sunday's episode just for the 'Tribute Band' task - you can safely skip through the rest though.

Best moment of the series so far!

Just heard this on BBC Radio 2. Tony Blair has announced he's never seen the Celebrity Big Brother, but racism in all it's forms should be opposed. Cancellor Gordon Brown (currently visiting India) has said the treatment of Shilpa has been raised to him repeatedly. The ecconomic secretary to the Treasury has stated the controversy is an embarresment to the coutnry. This is a major news story in India.

Okay, I know this is not new news. I just thought it was interesting to hear this on the radio, as this is the first time I've heard any news about it there.

Big Brother row reaches Commons

Shetty, 31, is an award-winning Bollywood actress
A row over remarks made to Celebrity Big Brother's Shilpa Shetty will be raised in Parliament after thousands of viewers complained to the TV watchdog. Leicester East MP Keith Vaz said he tabled the Early Day Motion after being contacted by his constituents. Almost 10,000 complaints have been received by both regulator Ofcom and Channel 4, which broadcasts the show. Housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd and Jo O'Meara have been seen making fun of the Bollywood star's accent. We would not tolerate this kind of racism on other types of programme.

What is an Early Day Motion?
On Monday night's episode, O'Meara reportedly suggested that Indians were thin because they were always ill as a result of undercooking their food.

Show's influence
The trio also complained that Shetty had touched other housemates' food with her hands. Lloyd said: "You don't know where those hands have been." Mr Vaz said the motion, designed to raise matters of concern, emphasises the influence the show has on viewers. "We would not tolerate this kind of racism on other types of television programme and we should not do so on a programme that is watched by millions of people," he said.

Shetty's UK manager, Jaz Barton, told BBC Radio Five Live: "She didn't come into the house to have that sort of harassment. "She came in there with the full intention to actually embrace the public at large and to be proud of her culture and her heritage and who she is, and now she's faced with all this sort of harassment." 'It is a game' Her mother, Sunanda, told the BBC Asian Network her daughter was tough: "I hope that she will be able to handle the situation. It is a game and there is a life beyond that. "I understand her emotions but I really hope that she is not going to get too affected by this treatment that is being meted out to her."

Channel 4 had earlier described the incidents as "girly rivalry", but on Wednesday said it was taking the matter seriously. "Big Brother does not tolerate bullying or racist abuse in any form. Big Brother is closely monitoring all the housemates and will take appropriate measures to reprimand such behaviour where necessary," a spokesman said.

Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK

Well, this is my first CBB also. James, it's not always like this is it?
Title: Re: Celebrity Big Brother UK
Post by: JamesUK on January 18, 2007, 03:20:33 AM
Um, in short, no!

They've always picked contestants they knew would clash with each other, as it makes good TV, but never in any of the Celeb BB series or even the regular series have a gang of housemates teamed up to pick on one of the other housemates.

To be honest, I'm *this* close to stopping watching as it's now just too uncomfortable to watch and not only can I not believe that the producers haven't stepped in to sort this out but I have also lost complete respect for Cleo as well who seems not to want to pick sides...

In fact, no-one seems to be standing up to them at all, which leads me to believe that either:

a) The editing is such that they're making it look like Jade is out of line and Shilpa is doing nothing but in actual fact Shilpa is being just as bitchy?

b) Everyone's scared of Jade (for some reason)

My money's on b.

If it's any consolation to anyone, Jade has now completely blown any sort of career she did have over here because the press are tearing her to shreds!!!

I see that Jade and Shilpa are now up for eviction - this doesn't surprise me at all and if I were Channel 4 I would have tried my best to find a way to get her up for eviction anyway because if she stays in there much longer the whole show is going to go down the drain...

Seems like they thought putting Jade and her family back in was a good idea but it has backfired spectacularly!!

Mind you, with the amount of press coverage they're getting I can only imagine that the ratings are up a fair bit so they probably don't care!

Yes, I think the producers are glad this is happening. Forget the image it's giving British people, this is good television! (Yes, I was being sarcastic. I don't believe that, but do believe that's how the producers feel.)

I have a few friends in the UK who actually told me they almost felt ashamed with all the coverage this is getting in India. Of course I told them they shouldn't be, but this is obviously getting out of hand. If this summers BB is like this, I may stop watching, way to much drama. Maybe Dirk had it right, it's a girlie show - like a girls locker room.

Big Brother loses main sponsor
Thursday, January 18, 2007

A distraught Shilpa Shetty finally admitted on the show that she is a victim of racial abuse.
In what is seen as the first major fallout of the Shilpa’s racism row, the show's principal sponsor Carphone Warehouse has pulled out of the show. Carphone Warehouse has suspended its sponsorship with immediate effect. Carphone Warehouse founder and chief executive Charles Dunstone had earlier spoken directly to the Channel 4 chief executive Andy Duncan about the seriousness of the situation after reports of racial abuse towards Shilpa drew worldwide criticism. Channel 4 had given guarantees to Carphone Warehouse that any such behaviour during the rest of the series could result in removal of the offending housemate. However, Carphone Warehouse said on Thursday it was suspending its sponsorship of the current series, saying it did not want its name associated with claims of racist bullying of housemate Shilpa Shetty by fellow contestants. "We had already made it clear to Channel 4 that were this to continue, we would have to consider our position," Carphone Warehouse said in a statement. "Nothing we saw last night gave us any comfort. Accordingly we have instructed Channel 4 to remove our sponsorship name and branding with immediate effect," it added. A small spat between actor Shilpa Shetty and fellow contestants on the UK show Celebrity Big Brother has snowballed into a full fledged race-row with political, economic and diplomatic implications. So much so that the main sponsor for the show has now pulled out -- something that has made the producers of the show very edgy as they contemplate legal recourse.

I just finished with Carole's eviction, and I only saw a smudge of the first part of this ordeal.  The good news is that the show ends on the 28th (10 more days).  I sure hope Channel 4 doesn't end this show early.  I'm still watching.   :groan:

What if the celebrities they get are more well known? I mean, I was shocked last year by how many people walked out, same for celebrity. I was beginning to think that was the norm, but James says it's not. So I guess I'll decide on next years CBB when it comes.

Wow, this even hit your TV news!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mTVuJqkA6E

Looks like the eviction is going ahead tonight but there seems to be no question in the UK that Jade is going.

Suggestion on the UK forums from people watching the live feeds is that Jade was briefed last night about how her actions are being perceived, maybe even told of the extent of it - she certainly seems to be backpedalling a bit now from what we've seen on the feeds but it's certainly all for effect!

There'll be no crowd at the eviction tonight and Jade is apparently also getting security escorts for the next few days.

Unbelievable!

I must admit this whole thing is very sour and uncomfortable. Generally there's never been anything like this though in regular BBUK shows, with people ganging up on one housemate. I guess the closest we had was Shahbaz last year but it was obvious he was insane and the others were actually right!

I'lll be interested to see if they even do another Celeb BB after this fiasco... I think they certainly need to think twice about some of the things they do just to get a rise out of the housemates. If you think about it, something like putting those people back into the house in the middle of last season could have had some serious repercussions given the amount that some of the parties involved seemed to hate each other...

They obviously thought that after last year's 'Non celebrity wins Celeb BB' twist worked out so well, they'd try this year 'normal BB contestant wins Celeb BB' - boy did they get that wrong!!

I see Celeb BB made the podcast this week but haven't heard it yet! Any of our voicemails make it?!

Both of our comments made it. I was apprehensive how I sounded when I called, but I don't think I sounded that bad.

As for Jade, her perfume has been pulled off the shelves! Yes, she's going to be in hiding for a week after she leaves tonight.
Sorry Mark if that's a spoiler, but it's not really definate, but it is obvious.

There was a section on More4 News yesterday James regarding the general thoughts on this whole affair. It sure is turning messy, making even some of us dedicated watchers, rethink our viewing options for next year. (or this year).

Do you think that after this season of CBB that they'll cancel the Celeb version, or will this mean bigger stars will want to join the house?

Don't worry about the spoliers for me, Jeff.  I already knew it's Jade vs Shilpa tonight.  And thanks for the YouTube video, James.  Hard to believe this ordeal is getting SO HUGE!  Now, I just need to catch up and watch the rest of the episodes.

What I think would be interesting, if they did a season like this:  Half the contestants are normal everyday people, and the other half are celebrities.  Would make for a good show.

Hey, cool! I think I was also quite nervous when I rang up, bizarrely enough! I'll look forward to listening to what you had to say later... I wonder if Rob edited my rambling 4-minute call about everything under the sun?!

As for the idea of half celebs and half non-celebs - could be okay! I think the major problem this time was having half celebs and half 'not really celebs' like Jade and her family. I guess Jade really felt she had something to prove, that she was just as big and famous as the others (hence her comments last night about her programmes being second only to shows about Princess Diana in the ratings!, and she was really threatened by the big names in the house.

Conversely, we had a couple of the bigger names like Leo and Ken walking out because they couldn't take having someone in there who was famous for being stupid and loud! So it got the reaction they wanted I guess but I don't think they expected it to go this far...

And to answer Mark's question about next year's show - I'd say its future is in serious doubt. I can't see anyone wanting to be associated with the show in its current state - that's how serious the situation now is in this country...

I think if they do CBB next year, they will do away with the non-celebrity twist.
You know, when I first heard Jade was going to go into the BB house I thought I heard, it was Jayne. I think this years show would have been much different.
Jayne was crude at times, but at least she was well liked.

Hi guys,

I haven't deserted you - just didn't feel much like writing about this show after all the crap that went down!

UK press is still full of the argument - Jo and Jade have been doing lots of interviews, coming across like broken women - Jade is playing the fully apologetic card whereas Jo is trying to blame it all on editing...!

Yesterday's Sunday papers were all full of Shilpa's side of the story and she's now having her turn of doing every interview inder the sun... I really wish they'd all shut up and go away now!

Looks like Shilpa will have a good career over here if she so chooses, she's really made a name for herself!

Anyway, it had its ups and downs but generally it was a good series - hopefully they'll learn some lessons for BB8 and
not put people in who they know will fight with each other, and not do things like the master/servant task which they know will cause conflict... but then again, since this series has had the most press coverage of any BB series, celeb or non celeb, perhaps they'll just stick with the formula!

See you guys soon!

James

It's a British science fiction show loosly based on the new Doctor Who episodes about an X-Files type of organization investigating alien activity on Earth. They use any technology they acquire for the defense of the British Empire.
