COUP D’ETAT
Julie then announces a new twist that puts the game on a whole new level: the Coup d’Etat. Whoever wins this power will have the ability to overthrow the HoH and replace their nominations on the spot at any of the next three evictions. The Coup d’Etat has an added twist, though, as only the winning HouseGuest will know what they have won, and the power will remain secret until it is used.
New HoH Erika is not allied with the Legion of Doom, so what will she do? The S-6 alliance has been decimated, with Janelle and Howie now vulnerable. Will they be targeted, or will Chilltown be in Erika’s sights? Don’t miss the next episode of BIG BROTHER: ALL STARS, Sunday, August 13, 8pm ET/PT, only on CBS.
Due to technical malfunctions of the buzz-in device, Big Brother will be redoing the Head of Household Competition. It will be broadcast during Sunday night's show.

Thanks for the info. I'll add this to my article.
-
It starts in 15 minutes or so :)
-
Man the suspense is killing me and I can't even watch it.
-
I smell a RFF Emergency Podcast, Rob & Trevor. You did it for an America's Vote last year, but this is big news. It's gotta be done!
-
I agree Jason!

And if Trevor is AWOL tonight, I am ready to fill-in. Skype and mic ready!

BTW JANIE new HOH :woohoo:
-
Your kidding?
-
She's probably just overexcited about the crowning of Head of Household.
Heck, I would feel that same way. :)
-
I just can't believe that Janelle won. I think this might hurt her even more though. 3 HoHs plus a PoV. (Does anyone else see a James like threat here from BB 6? She wins to much so the house back doors her.)
-
That could be possible. I'd like to see the rest of the house revolt on her (that's including Howie).
-
Hold on a second. Does this mean that I am not the only person in this world that doesn't like Janelle?
Well she was safe for this week.
-
Well, I only mentioned that I would like to see the house revolt on her if she happens to win this power.
In all fairness, she's a favorite...
I think I'll shut up now.
-
lol. No no keep talking it is I that needs to shut up.
-
It is I who needs to go to bed. I've got a long day ahead of me. And it's 3:38 in the bloody AM.
-
yeaaa janie :hearts: she needed it this week since she could not compete in pov. at least it gives her a fighting chance. my only worry is the coup. i really hope either janie or howie win it. then they can put up erika and dani this week securing that one of the floatherd goes (hopefully dani). then when the lose hoh next week and both of them are on the block they can overturn the hoh. it would be the best. especially if james won hoh and put them up--they would know where things stand and would be able to overturn that mofo.
-
i like your plan with the exception of a few things. I would like to see janie put up james and dani. and would love it if the door hit james on the way out. then the sv2 will sitll have 2 weeks withthe coup if they needed it. I hope that who ever wins it they choose to use it at some point because i think it would add so much to the game

THE SEASON SIX ALLIANCE STARTS TO UNRAVEL AS KAYSAR
BECOMES THE FIFTH ALL-STAR TO BE VOTED OUT OF THE HOUSE
Julie Chen Reveals Details for this Season's Newest Twist, The "Coup d'Etat," Which Will Enable One Houseguest To Overthrow the HOH at a Moment's Notice
After being nominated for eviction by Head of Household Danielle Reyes (BB3), Kaysar Ridha (BB6) was evicted last night from the BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS house. On Tuesday, Janelle Pierzina (BB6) won the Power of Veto and took herself off the chopping block. James was left up for eviction and Danielle, much to the dismay of the BB6 alliance, nominated fellow BB6 Houseguest Kaysar to join him.
During last night's live broadcast, Kaysar Ridha, the 25-year-old graphic designer from Irvine, Calif., learned his fate, said his good-byes and left the House. After leaving BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, Kaysar was interviewed by Julie Chen about his experience, as well as on "The Early Show" on Friday morning.
By nominating James and Kaysar, Danielle struck the first blow to the all powerful season six alliance, guaranteeing the departure of one of its key members.
During last night's live broadcast of BIG BROTHER: ALL-STARS, a technical malfunction occurred with the buzz-in device during the Head of Household competition. Therefore, the initial results of the HOH competition, in which Erika was named the winner, were deemed invalid. The HOH competition was replayed last night and broadcast live for subscribers of the Big Brother online 24/7 feed and will be shown during the Sunday, August 13 broadcast. Janelle was crowned the winner of the second HOH competition and is this week's new HOH.
Host Julie Chen also informed the All-Stars of this season's newest twist, the "Coup d'Etat." For the first time in Big Brother history, a Houseguest will have the chance to win an unprecedented power that could change the way the game is played. The "Coup d'Etat" gives one person the ability to overthrow the HOH and throw out their nominations on the spot. Over the next few days, clues to a phrase that relates to the Big Brother game will be given to the All-Stars. Once they think they know what the phrase is, they will disclose their answer in the privacy of the Diary Room. The first person to answer correctly will earn the power of the "Coup d'Etat."

wow can not believe they told the winner
-
I thought CBS would keep the new Head of Household a secret.
Well, the cat's out of the bag now.
-
Perhaps they were just assuming those interested would already know. It was shown on the live feeds after all.
-
They'll have to show it on Sunday's show as well or else people who weren't paying attentiong would be like. Huh? What is Janelle doing in the HoH?
-
Well, yeah...if I didn't know about the technical difficulties regarding the first round of Head of Household, I would want to know about them on the next show and then see the competition redo as well.
It would be the logical decision on the parts of the producers.
-
The HOH competition is going to be shown on Sunday. Probably first thing.
-
I think you may be right. (Well, after they show the clip of the original competition.)
-
They announced it would be shown on Sunday. I think it's on the website.
-
No the first thing is them celebrating then someone telling them we have to do over, followed by some complaining and so forth then the new HoH competition.
-
watch the NEW HoH comp ( crank the speakers )

-
Yeah. Something like that. What TannerB said.
-
Janie won again. :groan: :groan: :groan: (:;) I think I am going to be sick. I am sooooooo tired of her. It's just EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.
-
Can it be possible? I found someone who doesn't like Janelle as much as I do? After years of searching? lol
-
There are many Janie haters her. Sign me up as well.
-
Yes there are it is just that there are so many Janelle lovers that it is hard to find the haters.
-
Very true. I can't understand the love with Janelle.
-
I know. Her voice drives me insaine. I think the only reason that Janelle is liked so much is because most girls think she is cool and guys think she is hot. (There is another exception for me. JANELLE ISN'T HOT)
But I am tired of bashing Janelle.
-
I think I had a few PM's with someone yesterday on just this topic. I don't think Janelle is hot either.
Okay, back on topic.....
So, did anyone go to bed last night thinking the HOH should have been redone, only to wake up and find it was?
-
Sadly my insomnia kept me awake all night again so I got to watch the whole thing play out.
