Janelle is talking about reading.
She says that she has always read a lot.
She says that she used to read the whole Sweet Valley High series when she was a little girl.
She says that she used to read ALL the time.
She says that they used to have book clubs where all the girls would trade the books back and forth. She says that they are in the Valley righ now, where they are in the BB house...the same place where the Sweet Valley High books were set in.
She says then she got into scarier books, all the way up to Stephen King now .
Ivette asks her if she likes Stephen King?
Janelle says she does. She says that she usually likes to read the books before seeing the movies .Ivette asks if she has read Gone With The Wind?
Janelle says she has, then they talk about Scarlett O'Hara for a little bit.
Janelle and Ivette are talking about classic books they have read, and movies they have seen. They both agree that they like musicals.
Janelle asks Ivette if she has seen "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes"? Ivette has never seen it. Janelle asks her why not?
She says it was such a good movie.
Janelle starts to sing a song from that, and we get fish for a minute. Ivette asks her if she has tried out for Broadway?
Janelle says no.
Ivette asks her why not?
She says that she thought that Janelle likes to sing, and says that she has a good voice.
Janelle says that she does like to sing, but it is not her passion. She says that she sings in the shower, and after shes had a few drinks, things like that, but that she doesnt sing seriously.
They talk about singers they like.
Janelle mentions Cindy Lauper, and Ivette says that she has her CD at home. Ivette asks about Tiffany, and Janelle says that Tiffany used to be her idol...she loved her. They both like Mariah Carrey.
Ivette asks Janelle if she has a karioke machine at home? Janelle says she doesnt. Ivette says that she knows she doesnt have a good voice, so she doesnt even tease herself. Ivette tells Janelle that Janelle used to be very wholesome when she was a kid, playing the flute, and reading, etc. Janelle asks "And I'm not now?"
Ivette says she is just saying that Janelle used to be really wholesome when she was a kid. She asks Janelle why she doesnt still play the flute?
Janelle says that her dad had a fire at his house, and her flute burned up and she just didnt want to replace it.
Ivette asks her why she doesnt buy one on eBay now? Janelle says that she has thought about it, but she hasnt for a vanity reason.
She says that she doesnt want to start playing again, and get wrinkles all around her mouth. Maggie is laughing hysterically, and Ivette keeps asking her what she is laughing about? Maggie says she is just laughing. Ivette tells her that she is sounding evil, and tells her to stop it.
Ivette says that she played the violin for like a second ,Janelle is saying that she has a musical ear, and that if she hears a song, she can play it on the flute.
She says that she really wanted to play the piano when she was a kid, and she feels deprived for that. She says that her mother didnt want to take up all that space in the living room with a piano, and none of her siblings also wanted to play the piano, so her mothere didnt want to make that kind of investment in money or space for it, and told her to take up the flute instead.
Ivette asks her why she doesnt just get a piano now?
Janelle says that she probably could take it up now, and would probably be very good at it, but it is sort of large to move into an apartment.
Janelle says that she was promised a pony when she was a kid, and she never got it. Ivette says that she was supposed to get a pool, and she never got it either, and she is traumatized over it still.

Last year's final4 veto comp was this (from BB5 website):
SOCKET TO ME
Drew calls to order the final Golden Power of Veto competition: "Socket To Me." Nothing could be more important for every one of the HouseGuests because the outcome will have huge implications as to who will make it to the final two. Each HouseGuest is seen pacing and prepping, prepping and pacing.
Drew is the first to go. He enters the backyard and finds 10 rows of light boxes with images of each HouseGuest. Beneath each HouseGuest are electrical sockets, and in the middle is a giant high voltage switching station. The goal of the game is to connect all of the Veto winners in order from first to last and then flip the switch. If they are in the correct order the light boxes light. Whoever completes the circuit in the shortest amount of time wins.

I honestly have to wonder if James' instinct wasn't correct about Maggot. I don't think she is a nurse. I think she might well be a cop or studied how to control other people. One thing she does is to say nothing and let April blather on and finally blab everything.
I will give her credit for several things. She has the other two members of her coven pretty much under her domination. April and Ivette are beginning to rebel and I wish (but know it won't happen) that the two of them would discuss this but NOT run to the head witch and tell her. The other thing is how much control she has. If she wins it will be because of it. She has totally dominated the fiendship. Even to the extent of telling them they MUST sleep in the GR, it's the "rules" (and they must be obeyed!)

I don't hate you *D* you have your opinion just like I do, I just don't like the players you are rooting for. That's what makes games interesting for the fans, someone has to root for both sides or it just isn't as much fun

I believe she puts on a show in order to get sympathy. Look at the way she always sits and pouts waiting for someone to come pay attention to her. She has a wonderful passive aggressive side to her that makes people feel sorry for her. You have a good point. I'm starting to feel more and more sympathy for her, but then you remind me of how she went up to the HOH bawling and bawling and everyone came up to comfort her.
I think she pretty much knows though that she is screwed at this point. I wish she had saved Howie and made a deal for this week.

Ya know... Maggie is lucky that she's been flying under the radar for so long because she would turn her back on Ivette or April in a minute. Think about when she won veto and after promising April to keep her, threatened to put her up for eviction just to take Ivette off. 8-)' Well for all of those that like to say that Janie doesn't talk behind the other's backs, she did exactly that while she was in the d/r. She also told them on the set that all the people she liked were gone from the house and she was STUCK in there with 3 girls that she doesn't like at all. Maybe if she would have made Maggie safe and make her pick between Ivette & April it would have caused some problems with the "friendship". Instead she picked Ivette & Maggie and even asked April to vote Ivette out. April says of course, if that's what you want me to do. April would sell out faster on anybody.
