Title: Europe centricity
Post by: ye2000 on April 11, 2025, 07:05:41 AM
Seeing that this route is so Europe centric, I wonder if this would be the norm in the future due to Bertram’s age or do you think this is one-off?

I think it has to do more with "appearance fees", which is the main problem in doing a season like this, instead of everyday people who would drop everything for the chance. 3 alumni (Janelle Pierzina, Xavier Prather, Danielle Reyes) outright said on X that they turned it down because the show didn't pay them enough.

x13 and that's really going to eat into their budget.

Likely the same reason why TAR Australia's "Celebrity" Editions can only get D-listers and visit 4 countries a season.

I think another possibility is that the BB Theme was forced on production by CBS, potentially last minute, and so they didn’t want to waste a good route, which they may be saving for 39 or 40

Totally this.
Gave them "The Summits" season one budget and made them cast BB players on top.
