I'm from El Paso, myself, so I feel like I have to root for him.  Especially since El Paso is rarely represented on reality TV.  I think the last three El Paso residents or natives I remember being on any reality show were Elia Esparza, Valerie Ponzio, and Eli Zamora, all of whom were on seasons eleven, twelve, and nineteen of The Voice (and all were eliminated in the Battle rounds).
