While we're on the topic of this leg's tragic boot, Will & Alex are probably one of the unluckiest teams to ever Race lol. Every single leg was a ~journey~ of randomly surviving after failing almost every aspect of the leg beforehand <3
Leg 1: *goes to wrong Detour* *loses ondel-ondel and has to run after it* - Survives because of other teams getting lost
Leg 2: *completely misreads the clue at the grab task* *struggles at detour* - Survives because of two other teams doing WORSE :funny:
Leg 3: *fails Roadblock* *barely misses 2nd train* - they then survive because of the only luck they've had all-race which is finishing the Detour on their second try <3
Leg 4: *out of the airport last * *gets coconut palm leaves at the elephant task rejected* *forced to switch Detour due to limited stations* *continuously messes up said Detour* *fails Roadblock after only 2 minutes and has to resort to gym analogies to finish it* - Survives because of JK & Mike's taxi stopping for gas but they presumably get lost at the Pit Stop too because we then see them later on running with them lmao <3
Leg 5: *fails at prawn task* *goes to Fast Forward* *vomits and fails at said FF after eating FOURTY-NINE rice cakes* *returns to prawn task and THEN struggles* - Finally eliminated because luck didn't catch up to them :(
It's this level of pure unluckiness, their survival, and their behavior of enjoying the Race so much and pushing through despite their unluckiness and never giving up that made them a great surprise to watch (especially considering their pre-show stuff was playing into the typical 'alpha male' archtype).
I'll absolutely miss them and their hilariously OTT-dorky Pit Stop mat jumps (:lol: <3) :(
One of my favorite all-male teams in a very long time.

The alpha male team usually makes me go "ugh…", but after that impression from them, I thought right away that they'd most likely not be dominating, and I was right. :funny: Just from the first leg, their mishaps are already telling me they'll just be the team that will survive or struggle to survive while they last. :lol: They were fun to watch too.
For an MM team, especially with the alpha-male archetype, I really like them. :hoot:
