a tribe swap with Jeremy, Stephen, Kimmi, Joe, Keith, Tasha, Wentworth on the new Bayon tribe. New Ta Keo is not shown, since the med evac would be spoiled then. But since the preview shows Jeff at the old Ta Keo camp, it can be assumed either Kass, Terry or Ciera will be evacuated.

There is no medevac, so it's a quit.

The wikipedia info is obvious because we've had press photos for the next episode with only Kass/Ciera/Terry missing and now 2 of them are seen in the preview during the challenge.

Ta Keo was thriving and had put together a strong five, while Angkor was barely getting by.

But Angkor finally won, sending Bayong to Tribal Council.

Monica wanted to change things up and everything did change at TC when Monica was blindsided.

OMG me too. I watch live SUPER rarely, but I was sure from memory that my local time would be 3am, not 2am.
Oh well, at least I was smart enough to check here to see if the show has started. And thanks for the updates, they really helped!

After a long hospital stay including an implant of an artificial heart for a time, he received a heart transplant and is now doing very well!!

Kelley: If Joe is protecting me, I'll stick behind him.

Stephen suggests Bayon strong while Joe suggests Kimmi is weakest. Stephen says that he's trying to flip the Bayon alliance.

They don't trust Joe. But Jeremy says that he doesn't want to do Joe first. Jeremy wants Joe around as a shield so he's not the biggest guy.

So glad to hear that about Terry's son!

Actually glad to see so much emotion from Stephen - not a total game bot? Still a Spence > Stephen fan though.

Spencer making efforts to connect with Kass is good; if Ta Keo can avoid tribal, maybe he can foster that further.

Wentworth better not even think of protecting Joe with the idol.

Why Kass can't be more direct about why she really dislikes Spencer offends me - everyone else seems to embrace him.

Hoping Ciera stirs the pot and boots Savage!!!

Surprised, definitely thought it'd be Stephen or Joe going tonight, especially after the Kimmi let-down because she won't eat the pig.

Hoping Ciera can make some waves for once and pair up with Kelly/Spencer to get something going (perhaps with Abi, since she's old Ta Keo?)

Though no Abi confesh's make me think she's irrelevant this tribal.

But from the moment Jeff came to me all I could think of was getting home.

Danny needed a heart transplant, which he got.

I thought I was second chance Survivor...but (points to Danny) Our second chance Survivor is righ here.

I loved that we got to see other people in the spotlight tonight! :cheer: Though I hope Abi comes back with people being dead to her next week. :lol:

The second swap must have been pre-planned at exactly 14, since it wouldn't have worked at 15 (if Terry hadn't quit). I also see no reason for the merge to have been pushed forward - it must have been planned at exactly F13 as well. The Terry quit only 'deleted' one round and fastened things up. It will probably spare us of a double boot episode, which must have been originally planned sometime during the merge.

This episode is SO POETIC.

Love Kass for this episode and omg a Kass/Spencer/Abi F3 would be out of this world.

I LOVE swapping for one round tbh - it created the greatest episode of the season on Gabon and we might just have got the same tonight on Cambodia.

And I love merge at 13 - add a whole new layer of complexity because I don't think too many people are expecting it.

Abi is such a flipper!  :lol: This time she's helped save Spencer who was with Shirin who Abi ditched.

Really sad how Monica was seriously an afterthought, like that was the most afterthought edit I have ever seen on Survivor  :(

Glad Terry's son is well! :hoot:

Honestly, when Stephen was crying on his confessional, I can't help but imagine him like a mad scientist. His crying almost had a maniacal laugher beneath it.

I love the one-episode swap. It would have been just as nice with no swap but it makes the game more complex without having any major twists. Like pointed out in this TC, all it takes for the game to be even more complicated is to introduce some more relationships and dynamics.

Overall, this is season is getting much better and better! :hearts: :hearts:

Abi wanted Woo out as badly as I did.

Now it'll be interesting to see how Tasha scrambles to keep herself in the numbers. Will she abandon Savage?

I think Wentworth will be a key swing coming up. Ciera made a great move for herself, knocking out a challenge beast and now Joe/Jeremy/Keith/Spencer are the biggest targets.

I'll be curious to see how Wiggles performs in individual immunities!
