I'm a little bit worried because I think everybody will target her... I hope she survives the first week, and go further.
-
But she's also a very EASY target, so smarter players might as well target some other bigger threats first and leave Kass for later.

Hopefully they do this till F3 or F2 <3

Kass's confessional <33333
Winner edit?
-
I hope she won't be the first boot on Bayon. She has to make it far!
Let Stephen go home first. lol
-
No one gave her negative vibes on the tribe so that's good <3

Analysis of Kass McQuillen (original Bayon Tribe).
Following Episode 1 (posted in the wrong place last week): Kass, unlike Shirin, will use her intellect to build relationships rather than alienate people. She certainly appeared to be aware of perceptions of her but not worried about torment that they could cause her. I am sure if she reached a final vote, she would garner greater favor from Survivor veterans than from her first-time opponents, who might have taken her bluntness and last-minute changes too personally. My only concern for her is if she can avoid getting caught in a lie. I think that she is smart enough to avoid that.
Following Episode 2: In a confessional, Kass indicated that she likes the cast from this season much more than the one on her original appearance on Survivor. So she feels less likely to give off the kind of harsh reactions that got her into trouble the first time. This gives me a belief that she will be able to better plot and strategize with people in an up-front way (rather than in the backstabbing way she demonstrated her first time out). Coming into the season, I viewed Kass' game-play as similar to Ciera's but her personality as far less likeable. If she can improve the perceptions others had of her entering the game, she could advance further than I would have initially expected.
-
I am in love with Kass's edit and if she keeps it up she might just win omw <3 <3 <3
-
OMG, the change is unbelievable and was definitely unexpexted! :hearts:
Behaving differently is one thing, but I'm just surprised that other castaways didn't have anything against her initially and all seem to be in good terms with Kass :luvya:
SLAY.

OMG Kass... :<3 :luvya:

awww so sweet! <3 I love her.

SHE IS WINNING :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:

Kass McQuillen (Ta Keo Tribe, original Bayon)
Following Episode 3: I will enjoy watching Ciera and Kass co-strategize within a smaller tribe. Both of these women have the acumen to go deep into the game. As much as they see themselves in a good position by staying within the original Bayon alliance, these two are not above changing things up if they see long-term opportunities with Terry and Kelley Wentworth. I wonder if they will be able to discover that Wentworth has the Hidden Immunity Idol.
Following Episode 4: To a certain extent like Abi-Maria, Kass is showing the audience that she is keenly aware of perceptions of her and is willing to be gentler to her tribemates. It helps that she is on a strong tribe of apparently nice people. Like Ciera, she can go far if she maintains those positive perceptions of her.

OMG what is happening, what have you done to Chaos Kass? :gnome
I'm loving that she has managed to change the others' perception of her and this #LoveKass is actually fun to watch
Possible winner's edit?! I don't even know if I believe that.
-
Yeah, it's cool because she was on a strong tribe, and they skipped the firsts TC, and the rest of the people can know how is her. If her tribe had gone to the first TC, maybe they had voted out her because her past.
Kass & Kelley have the most winner edit. I would love that F2! <3
-
This woman has stolen my heart when she made Kelley suspicious of her then gave her a great birthday lucky charm.
Give her the million cheque <3
-
I thought she had a winner edit eps 1-2 but I'm not feeling it as much in eps 3-4. Feels more like a "live and learn" Lisa Whelchel style edit to me. Plus Ta Keo is dubiously shaping up to be the Kalabaw/Solana of the season in terms of screentime and if the tribe as a whole doesn't get some more screentime in the next couple of episodes, I'd write the whole tribe off.
THAT SAID, I still think she's one of the top three people most likely to win. I thought she played one of the worst games in Survivor history in Cagayan and so far in Cambodia she is playing a great game. The birthday gift for Kelley was really cute <3
-
It's hard to tell because this is not what anyone thought kass would be like so editing her in this way will have some long term importance
-
I STILL don't really think she will win, but maybe such edit is related to the way she gets booted?
It'd be hella hilarious if this time she was voted out due to being a huge jury threat :funny:
-
That really would be something. :funny:

Kass McQuillen (Ta Keo after 2nd swap, Ta Keo after 1st swap, original Bayon)
Following Episodes 5 and 6: Kass gave us some comic relief while describing her mindset with the angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other (i.e. "calm Kass" vs. "chaos Kass"). It appears as though she has kept this under wraps much better than her first time in the game. At the same time, I imagine that the men who are not aligned with her (now Savage and potentially Jeremy and Stephen) might misconstrue her as the protagonist of what the home audience knows to be Ciera's machinations. Even Spencer, who was in on the plot to blindside Woo, might suggest this to Jeremy and Stephen when they reunite. So Kass needs to deflect attention from this. She has been successful so far, but one can only wonder if she can outlast Ciera.

Kass McQuillen (original Bayon, Ta Keo after 1st swap, Ta Keo after 2nd swap)
Following Episode 7 (the merge): In my comments about Monica following Episode 5 (her elimination) and Andrew Savage following Episode 6 (Woo's elimination), I discussed Survivor 101 (not discussing a long-term plot against any member of one's own alliance with another member of that alliance, primary reason for Monica's downfall) and Survivor 102 (not mentioning a member of your own alliance as red herring vote, thus revealing a pecking order that can be overturned, Savage's downfall that led to his ally Woo's departure). To continue that trend, I would suggest that Survivor 103 is not airing out dirty laundry in front of the entire camp, which was the motivating factor for the merged tribe eliminating Kass, who plainly revealed her "Chaos Kass" nature. While everything she said regarding Tasha and Savage was true, her method for delivering that news to her tribemates was highly problematic, and in their minds there was no denying that this would raise more red flags about her gameplay than about anyone else's. Even without this ill-conceived scene, she was facing a great challenge in garnering a majority in her favor, as original Bayon members Joe, Keith, Savage, Tasha, Jeremy, Stephen Fishbach, and Kimmi appeared to be a united front, and they had recruited Kelley Wentworth and Kelly Wiglesworth, who following the swaps had pledged their allegiances to several of them out of necessity and out of a feeling that the remaining original Ta Keo members were already out for themselves and not going to protect them. Spencer had already began constructing relationships with Jeremy, Fishbach, and later Savage, and after the merge he made overtures to Joe. This left Kass, Ciera, and Abi-Maria at the bottom of the totem pole, and Kass' reputation as a ruthless and cutthroat player combined with her public display of stirring up trouble (albeit out of valid concern for misplaced loyalties) sealed her fate.

Following Season Finale: Kass' question to Spencer about rewarding him for betraying alliances was fair, considering their history in which Spencer told Kass she had "zero chance of winning" after betraying her allies in Cagayan. Spencer's response about how he has matured and his responses to other questions about adapting were equally fair, as Spencer more than any other castaway really did not have any solid alliances until the very late stages of the game when his personal connections with Jeremy and Tasha bore fruit. Unlike most of the other jury members, Kass' vote might have been up for grabs, although her previous disdain for Spencer might have been the deciding factor against him, and then Jeremy's revelation about expecting a child secured any and all votes in doubt.
