Happy with most of the cast but how did Shane not get on? His antics would've made for some great TV. I actually feel bad for the guy. They cut him off at the last minute so many times. I know CBS said they won't mess with the votes but I really feel like he was robbed with this one.

Shane is one of the most entertaining male castaways EVER. Was so disappointed he wasn't on.
Let's hope he gets another shot in the future though! :hrt:

When Jeff was at the row with Teresa and said only one of them was going I was totally shocked. I thought PG and T-bird for sure will get in, and thought Steph would at least be close! Teresa and Shane’s rejections were definitely the most heartbreaking especially Teresa :(
Nooooooo idea how Woo even got in. I was thinking that even for casual viewers/voters he’s forgettable :lol: Ugh Joe and Woo honestly have similar game imo and I seriously don’t see them changing the way they play because pretty sure the rest of the players won’t either (but please, surprise me).
How I thought Woo wouldn’t be picked, I thought would be Kelley’s case too. I don’t remember her so maybe it’s just me. Well, I guess what I look forward from her most at this point is her and Borneo Kelly hopefully in the same tribe and both at risk at first TC and a name mishap :lol:
Kinda sad Carolyn didn’t get picked, it was only since last week when I started to actually having her in my faves list.
BUUUUT still very excited for this cast! However the votes turn out it will still be a good group! I hope they put focus on location too. I feel Cambodia has a lot to offer and since they called next season Survivor Cambodia SC they better have cultural elements in-game. Surely a new twist that is culturally relevant should do the trick!

T Bird and Stephanie and Shane plus Brad would have made it one hell of a season.
Now we have a whole load of alpha male (Woo, Spencer, joe, Vytas etc) and I hope Vytas owns them all with at least a decent game play

I'm excited for this season! Looks like everyone is really, really motivated to win this time around! The past two all-returnee seasons have been brutal (All-Stars w/ few canteens; HvV w/ that brutal starting challenge), hopefully this time it is still true! Also, there's been spoiler news saying that Cambodia is the worst/brutal location they've visited, so yay! (Hopefully everyone's safe though haha)

Agreed, super sad for T-Bird, and shocked at Shane not making it. Shane would have made a perfect first boot after annoying the hell out of everyone XD
Now the first out is likely Shirin, due to her announcing her first million earnings/her not helpfulness in challenges, Kass because no one will want to work with her, or someone like Spencer/Stephen/Vytas who will be total game-bot as soon as they hit the island (though Stephen said he wanted to channel JT and be much more about the social game.)
I don't know how or where Kimmi is going to make herself useful XD pre-merge boot in my eyes.

I hope Spencer throws Stephen under the bus as a bigger strategical threat than him, haha. Josh from SJDS doesn't have much confidence in the SJDS folks going deep (Keith, Kelley, Jeremy) - though I think Kelley Went could pull an Amber.
Monica Padilla, go fierce on this cast <3 A Monica/Varner/PG alliance would literally make me drool.

What does everyone think about the potential of Redemption Island for the Second Chancers? It was mentioned on a couple podcasts that having this "second chance" in the game makes the most sense for this season, plus it allows for everyone to see their favorites they voted for stick around awhile longer on the show.
Personally, I would like to see it, because it does add another layer of strategy to who you vote out and when, but maybe kick Redemption once the merge comes. But they definitely better not pull a BvW and send two people to Redemption right away, that's ridiculous. While I had no interest in seeing more Rupert and him going first was very satisfying, it was a bit unfair to see that happen right away.

I don't like RI itself, but considering the fact that some of my favourites might actually benefit from RI (Spencer/Tasha lolz <3) then I guess I wouldn't be opposed to it too much.

I want to see Kass think on her feet for a #1 target with Spencer not on her tribe, otherwise he's either golden or toast with her (most likely toast.)
Splitting Savage/Terry would make sense, hope that does happen, a Shirin-Abi alliance would be likewhoa (unlikely I think though.) Maybe Abi-Kelley

I would like it to be random, but no way a schoolyard pick! People would just pick their friends/pre-game alliances.
If CBS are smart, they should have analysed who would likely already be alligned with who and then split those people.

I was thinking that this video was looking a bit like a sitcom opening credits and someone put the video to the "Too many cooks" song and the "Friends" song. It makes the mostly really awkward footage actually make sense and fit.
