Based on reports from past racers, I would definitely pack a daily devotional Bible first. This will help keep you focused during the race.

As for some interesting items, I would say binoculars, a pitch counter, pillow case, lemon juice, and a variety of energy/power bars, just to name a few.

Personally, I'd try to attempt to bring a pet to the race. Adds some extra challenge, right?

- Toothbrush kit
- Simple aid kit
- Spare glasses (I'm short-sightedness)
- Sleepbag
- Two T-shirts and one pants
