Lord of the Rings meets Amazing Race meets Game of Thrones with a little Harry Potter, Hunger Games thrown in!

As a fan of LOTR, TAR, HP, and I'm just starting to read GOT, if this is indeed a mix between them, I will watch it!

Do we subsume this show in the category of quasi-reality shows? It does not seem to be a pure reality show in that there is a hidden storyline as well as scripts while it is still a competition show.

P.S. I haven't watched it; I just deduce it from the intro.

You should watch Capture then, it's a Hunger Games-esque show

It seems like an intriguing idea. If they can make it feel like the storyline is real, then it should be good!

I'll have to watch the first episode and see what I think...

I think it takes the players (and us) a couple of weeks to "get it"....
