Title: Need for TAR files
Post by: :jerry: on November 22, 2009, 11:24:09 PM
I noticed how we need to use TAR specialized files once in a while. (Fonts, pictures, logos, music ect.)

Sometimes, you just can't find the place to get the file, it is quiet frustrating!

If you need a certain file about TAR place the request here, and hopefully someone will come up with a place to get it :)

I'll start it off:

Who knows where I can download TAR 14/15 Intro MP3 version? I need it for an audition video :)

I may have that jerry, let me look.

But please do NOT post any links to YouTube uploaders here, we try to keep those folks safe by only sharing the links privately.

This is NOT the place to ask for episode links, okay?

There's a way (in two steps) using free software to convert .flv files to .mp3 files.
I use Firefox, and the first on is a Firefox add-on :Download Helper. You have to invoke this add-on while the video is playing, and you end up with both the .flv and .wmv files on your computer,

The other is Clone2Go audio helper;there's a free version which is all you will need. It will convert .wmv files to .mp3. (I've used it for both Kris Allen's and Adam Lambert's AI performances from the Idol site, and the mp3s worked just fine in my truck CD player.)

Make sure you have an anti-virus and spyware program on your computer to make sure a source file hasn't been corrupted.
