A toast to Romber: Thanks for eliminating yourselfs early on in the race so I can enjoy the show the way it's meant to be enjoyed. That is, without you in it! Now let's all raise our glasses and drink down this champagne in honor of your elimination.

the fact that romber is gone is not something to celebrate...come on...the whole thing is no one is up to their standards...I'd lie and deceit too if I was on amazing race...I love the fact that they play with other peoples heads. I think Dustyn and Candice are just as dirty....its reality tv it makes is more exciting about how they are going to $crew the next team!! its funny to watch!

Hey CeeJay, I know some people are upset that Rob & Amber are gone, and I respect that. I do have just have one question, and I want you to clarify, just for my own personal reasons, and this isn't an attack on ya! How are Dustin & Candice any different in how they play than from how Rob & Amber play? I guess I would classify them both as dirty, thing is, Rob is just much too cocky.

i like how d / c play cause they are like romber....they just are "cuter" and get away with more. ithink they are a super strong team and I would love to see a girl girl team win!!! plus as u said they are not as cocky as rob so it makes u root for them more.

I've never watched TAR, but with the thought that Janie would be on the next race I watched last week and last night's episodes. I don't much like any of them but at least I thought Rob and Amber had the ability to do some of the challenges. ARRGH! Now I get to see the one guy who was screaming at his wife to hold the fish with her boobs? Or that little person trying to run up and down hills? The cheerleaders?
I dunno how much pain I can suffer just so I can see how this show works. :groan:

So, finally Rob and Amber lose.....Charla and Mirna turn on each other.....and Scott says this episode was the BEST EVER....and I forget to RECORD IT!!!! :crybabe:

Hey, I'd just like to point out that Rob and Amber didn't lose a footrace to Charla and Mirna like Scott said - you'll notice at the end of every single episode of TAR since day 1 they try and make it look like the last two teams are really close together (unless they're like, in another country like the Guidos in Series 1!)
There is no freaking way in the world that if Rob and Amber had even been able to see Charla and Mirna on the horizon that he wouldn't have been running full pelt to catch up with them (and they probably would have too!) You'll notice if you rewatch it that you never see R&A and C&M in the same shot, and the way Rob was just sauntering towards the finish line, he knew they were out.
It's pretty obvious to me that they Rob was still doing that roadbloack for a good few minutes after C&M left...

I'd lie and deceit too if I was on amazing race...
You do have to lie and be deceitful to win on Survivor or Big Brother. That is just the nature of the game, and I don't have a problem with it. But you don't have to lie to win on The Amazing Race. Take Uchenna & Joyce or Chip & Kim as examples!!!
I do think that Rob & Amber are very entertaining. But I just find a certain poetic justice in the fact that they lied to Charla and Mirna earlier in this leg of the race, then get beat by them later.

Not to mention they stole Uchenna & Joyce's directions on the flight. The detour after that really screwed them up. Funny how karma works.
