Alright guys, so this camera is of Venice Beach, and you can move it to the Graffiti Wall with perfect shots of the surrounds (see shot below) - however, it is controlled by each user for only 30 seconds each before you have to wait in line, so the only thing I can suggest is if a group of us work to 'commandeer' the camera so to speak, ensuring it stays on the Graffiti Wall, so we can keep a look out and take relevant screenshots and so on.
http://www.westland.net/beachcam/
The difference between this Venice Beach start (27) and the Times Square start (25) is as I mentioned, the California camera is movable to many other angles of the beach, whereas the New York camera had different angles available that could be unmoved. Here, we need to be vigilant to keep the angle at the Graffiti Wall over the many other options - I suggest everyone who could possibly help with this, take a look at the link in my previous post and see what I mean. ALL HANDS ON DECK CHAPS!

So the starting line is in Venice Beach? ???

On The Amazing Race 27 Wikipedeia page, that teams will visit Melbourne (Australia), Mykonos (Greece) and Ghent (Belgium). Don't believe me look at this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Race_27

There will be snow 1st leg maybe? We had only two in seasons 4 & 6.
That would be great "jump" from the hot beach starting line, I think.
Interesting tweetsCan anyone confirm?

There will be snow 1st leg maybe? We had only two in seasons 4 & 6.But there isn't a lot of snowy locations they can go to this time of year. If your snow theory is correct, likiky contenders are NZ or the Australian Snowfields South of Canberra (if so, I am on call to head down there and do some investigating for RFF)

That would make for an interesting difference.
Also, an Australian snow leg would be amazing. Though I'm not sure what the weather there is atm.
Wiki is useless for spec, anyone can edit it.And there are admins that can undo those edits.
And :bigwelcome to RFF, justmjlayson !
Does anyone have a line on international departures from LAX?
With the starting line being announced and only a few miles away from the airport itself, might be worth checking out.

There are departures from LAX to all over the world literally all day long. With the pretty early start and close proximity to LAX of the starting line, I would guess a first destination of S.America or Europe. For the most part, the Asia flights all leave late at night.
I think teams could basically depart at any time from LAX.I would say a Leg 1 visit to South Korea is the most possible out of the four cities if there are no connection flights. I don't think TAR has deemed Mexico as a controversy-free country yet, though I hope it can be visited again in the future. China has already been visited recently (Guangzhou) and Shanghai was visited time and time again in seasons 16 and 21. London was also visited a season ago so I don't sense TAR filming at London-Heathrow for quite a while having said that.
Does Phil need to get on the earlier flight than the other teams, or does he join the first flight along with some of the teams?
In case they do not make connection somewhere else, I found some interesting flights based on https://www.airport-la.com/lax/departures?t=15
VX290 CUN Cancun 10:25
DL937 CUN Cancun 11:50
KE276 ICN Seoul 10:20
OZ201 ICN Seoul 12:10
KE18 ICN Seoul 12:40
UA198 PVG Shanghai 13:25
CA1060 PVG Shanghai 13:45
BA282 LHR London 15:35
NZ2 LHR London 16:55
VS8 LHR London 17:55
Normal path to S America is through Dallas or Miami. Dallas flights about every hour, all day long and about 4 flights to Miami to make connections there to S America red eye flights.
The few daytime Asia flights, all arrive at night, which doesn't make much sense.
Interesting that there are 3 flights from LAX to Melbourne......one for Phil and two for teams..........lol. Good TAR timing too
Does anyone know the closest intersection to the Graffiti Wall? I tried to figure it out with Google Earth Pro last night and couldn't find it specifically labelled.

Are you looking for the Graffiti Walls themselves? If so, then they are situated a hundred feet (30 meters) southeast of the Venice Skate Park. Look for a bunch of palm trees on the sand.
The closest road intersection I see is Windward Ave and Ocean Front Walk.
I'm betting on an Oceanian or Asian 1st leg, but Europe, Africa, and South America are possible too.

Now that Rio has been revealed as the 1st destination, is it possible for it to be an Olympic themed leg.
Also, I think 1 team on the 1st flight is scary, VERY scary. If that flight gets delayed for a long time, that team who finished 1st gets booted out. :funny:

Having ~3 legs in SA and then going to oceania would be amazing!!
Remember that last year there was also the World Cup; so the moment to go on this time of the year had to be this one.
There would hope to have a Middle East leg, probably between legs 7 and 8, Israel could be the most likely country to visit and its being overlooked for the American Race, and no more countries outlying in the Arabian Peninsula. It will be a standard 4-continent race (N. America, S. America, Europe, Asia).
Also, it would have a second Brazilian leg and love to visit Belo Horizonte, just not as far from Rio.
Just checked;
The delta flight will be late!
I can't do a screen shot as I am posting from my phone and don't know how to upload it :(

According to this website, only the Atlanta flight, the AA 905 Miami flight with teams, and another flight from Houston have made it to Rio. The other two earlier flights from Miami and another earlier flight from New York haven't made it yet. Looks like they were possibly all rerouted through Sao Paolo or Brasilia.
Edit: Declive says Phil is there, so somehow they made it! (Houston flight maybe?)
All teams got to the cluebox in the Lagoa. Once our ground team got there, there was only production.
Overheard from production is that the pit stop (or the location right after the Lagoa) was in the Copacabana Beach!
Pics to come!

I don't have the city name handy, but Anthony Bourdain did an episode of his CNN Parts Unknown series in a city several hundred miles up the coast from Rio. It would make a fascinating leg just based on that episode.

I believe that was Manaus. I almost mentioned it above. That would likely work for TAR because it's a city of over 1.5 million people, so it would likely have decent airline flights.
It would be fascinating. I'd love to see that.
I speculate they might visit a new country in South America - Colombia, Guyana, Suriname, Venezuela have all never been visited. I have no knowledge of the political situation there, but it would be hella cool to see one of those countries get a first-time visit.

IMO routes have become too predictable in recent years in that they never stay in any continent other than Europe and Asia for more than 1 country anymore, so I'd honestly be surprised if the country that follows Brazil is still in South America :(
What would really come out of nowhere is if they broke new ground and became the first franchise to touch the seventh continent, Antarctica :P (which Phil has even said he'd love to do). But #1, it's difficult to get to. And #2, nobody there but scientists and some tourists.

I believe Phil has a very well structured mind, and if this is the case, he might have revealed the true continent order for the race. Brazil is South America“s top, main and almost only gateway to Africa. At least there are flights from Brazil to ex-Portuguese Africa and South Africa.
There may also have been a second leg in Brazil, so for these days (Tue-Wed-Thu...on), I would, and will, keep my eyes on:
1.- South Africa
2.- Angola
3.- Mozambique
4.- Cape Verde

I believe South Africa is more possible and its getting overdue for a long time since it was last visited in TAR 7 and recently through international versions.

Yeah, I get that the location and timing are both VERY logical, but perhaps I missed the sighting in downtown BsAs.

I am sure that this might have been why there was a later start to the race this year, as Phil had to do the BB takeover in the first few days of the houseguests entering. I imagine it was day 2 of entering the house usually a week prior to the first episode airing.
Looking at the image in the live thread... it seams the meat roadblock from TAR 7 is back.

... or maybe not (:;)
The video was posted 6 hours ago
So leg 3?
The clue box pic showed dark skies and the video had dark skies so I could see this as the same leg
Also the first few seconds looked like a another team
So cheerleaders and the brothers team
Wait, where was it mentioned that there would be a switchback?
Looking at the recent pics in the live thread, and the previous mention of the cheerleaders and the dancers, I'm wondering whether these 2 are way ahead or fighting for last. ??? We often see pics of teams fighting for last, like Shelley & Nici during England or the Cowboys back in TAR18, so I'm just wondering.
Out of Argentina, without backtracking, there are nine possible destinations in two clusters: Europe and the Middle East.
Europe
1 Madrid Aerolķneas/Iberia/Air Europa
2 Rome Aerolķneas/Alitalia
3 Paris Air France
4 Amsterdam KLM
5 Frankfurt Lufthansa
6 London British
Middle East
1 (Europe/Asia) Istanbul Turkish
2 Dubai Emirates
3 Doha Qatar

Day 1: LA
Day 2: Rio
Day 3: Getaway
Day 4: Buenos Aires

Day 21: Finale
I'd start looking at Paris.
Getaway? You mean extended Pit Stop? Teams would arrive in Europe until Day 8? The distance between Buenos Aires and the next European destination city is 6500-7000 miles away.
Here's the possible list of European cities from BsAs:
Dublin - 6826 miles
Paris - 6862 miles
Brussels - 7021 miles
Manchester - 6945 miles
Barcelona - 6499 miles
Madrid - 6238 miles
Cologne - 7111 miles
Dusseldorf - 7117 miles
Zurich - 7008 miles
Milan - 6949 miles

9. South Asia

As to flights out of Buenos Aires, past seasons have seen connecting flights to southern Africa via Sao Paolo, IIRC, and to Moscow (TAR 9) and I believe without looking for flight schedules that flights to Australia/New Zealand are also possible. In my opinion, any direction is possible this early in the Race.
Yeah, Vilnius plzzzzz <333333
Though I will be away in Trakai for the next week, would be even worse to miss them than for them not to go here at all.
There are a lot of beautiful places in Lithuania they could show and the vacant Fast Forward in Trakai was a missed opportunity.
Anyway, seeing Latvia for the first time on TAR would be AMAZING.
Overall there are very many European countries that have only been visited once or twice - most a very long time ago. I'd rather see those countries featured once more than another Germany/France/Italy/UK/etc.
There have been some posts seen recently that seem to suggest ZAMBIA as a possibility....

So if WRP is staying in Victoria Falls for a week, we can probably expect two legs there...
Yeah, I know teams wouldn't spend a week in Zambia. So if WRP is staying in Victoria Falls for a week, we can probably expect two legs there...
And if WRP is staying in Victoria Falls for a week, and Phil says the race is 21 days, that would take up 1/3rd of the race days. I don't think they would stay there that long in that case... However, 2 legs is likely.
Based on the live sightings, 7 teams were sighted in Zambia....
and Chris/Logan and Cindy/Rick are the only teams known to be safe currently
Speculation of the Race so far (for the person who asked about team spoilers in the timeline thread :))
Leg 1 10 teams are known to be safe, Team TMZ was last but unknown if eliminated
Leg 2 Teams flew to Buenos Aires and Alex/Adam were the only ones sighted.
Leg 3 Teams bused to Areco and Ernest/Jin and Tiffany/Krista were the only ones sighted.
Leg 4 Teams flew to Zambia. Logan/Chris spotted going to bus station? and Cindy/Rick was spotted along with 6 other teams.
If anything is wrong, just change it. :hearts: :) :<3 :cheer: :hoot:
The picture with Phil was with a Zimbabwean, the sheet of paper from the tweet is a customs company that lists only SA and Zimbabwe addresses, and I believe the tweeter was in Zimbabwe at most a couple of days ago and may still be.
Could they have stayed on that side tonight?

The flag in the background of that pic is Zambia's.
The length of time PRODUCTION is there has NO bearing on the length of time racers are there...two totally different things.

According to Wikipedia, Victoria Falls is a waterfall in southern Africa on the Zambezi River at the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe. If you were one of the people who watched The Amazing Race sense Episode 1 of Season 1, you may remember Victoria Falls was the first place visited in the series. This was back in 2001.
The show only went to Zambia once, and that was 14 years ago. I highly doubt that Zambia will be visited again. I believe Season 27 marks the first time visit to Zimbabwe.
Of course, a lot of people will be saying things like "But Namibia was visited in Season 2, but they went there in Season 26." True, but I don't believe the crew would visit the exact same city of the country. This is the case for many first and second time visits in countries. The first season it is visited, they will visit the capital/largest city. The second season, they will visit a small city. Therefore, they are probably visiting Zimbabwe for the first time.
so it is just as likely that Botswana might be used just as it was in season one.
Zimbabwe won't be happening. Have you ever heard of Robert Mugabe? The economy there is in shambles with hyper-inflation of its currency, its default on IMF loans, its open disdain for the United States, and the fact that the United States has imposed various economic sanctions. In addition, here's a link to the current Safety and Security information on Zimbabwe issued by the U.S.State Department:
http://www.travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/country/zimbabwe.html (http://www.travel.state.gov/content/passports/english/country/zimbabwe.html)
After you read that-- Zimbabwe won't be happening on TAR any time soon.
so it is just as likely that Botswana might be used just as it was in season one.
Just how was Botswana used in TAR 1
Well to be fair, last season wasn't really France. It was a "Monaco" leg, but that country is so tiny they couldn't help but cross the border, especially since the airport was on the France side.
Awesome!! Thank you TAR789!

Exactly. And I love it!
From Adam's pic review:
He saw 5 teams on his flight:
First team to arrive at boarding in Sao Paolo was Jazmine & "Sis"
*Jazmine (written on bag) & Sister - look fit but lil tired.
*Asian looking man & W. girl friend - Having fun
Denise Williams & James Earl Corley were in
Cindy & Rick Chac were in
Justin Scheman & Diana Bishop were ...But I think he is the one limping right leg. Also went back to plane for a green jersey.
From Pic review:
Ernest Phillips & Jin Lao - were NOT in the plane
Alex Manard & Adam Dingeman NOT in the Plane
I think I've read Ernest and Jin were spotted in Zambia too with Chacatack ???
Here is a run-down, please correct me if wrong or update if slightly incorrect.
6. Paris, France - Denise & James Earl, Tiffany & Krista last spotted (likely F7)
5. likely Lusaka, Zambia (F7/8)
4. Victoria Falls, Zambia - Logan & Chris, Cindy & Rick, Jazmine & Danielle, Justin & Diana last spotted (F8/9)
3. San Antonio de Areco, Argentina - (one of Ernest & Jin, Alex & Adam, Joey & Kelsey, Tanner & Josh eliminated or non-elimination) (likely F9)
2. Buenos Aires, Argentina - Ernest & Jin last spotted (one of Ernest & Jin, Alex & Adam, Joey & Kelsey, Tanner & Josh eliminated) (F10)
1. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Shevonne & Kelly likely eliminated (F11)
No they were not, you may be referring to the photograph taken in Zambia of the cameraman and the designated driver (black) in the driving seat - this is not Ernest or Jin.okay other than that I think your list is correct IMO
One of the pics in the lives showed a blonde girl

Doesn't she! Records definitely have her as 51 - but I am certainly doubting myself now!

I'm a bit confused now with the remaining teams.
Also, ironic how Jin & Ernest and/or Tanner & James weren't seen, while one of those teams were speculated to have won the EP. ??? The expiration date of the EP might be earlier, but it's just Leg 6. :ascared

No spec...it was very clear from the start that Justin and Diana won the EP. Hence their getting the early arriving ATL flight.
It was crazy and amazing day. :funny:
1st: Tanner & Josh or Ernest & Jin Lao (speculation by comments of others, may be wrong)
100% sure
9th: Justin & Diana
10th: Tiffany & Krista
11th: TMZ Team
I got pictures with Phil. :yess:
They won the starting line task and fell to the back of the pack later to 9th place. The black dancer guys were speculated to have won the leg and the EP but there was no confirmation.I'm a bit confused now with the remaining teams.

If they are listening to us on some points, maybe they'll give us Nepal, Maldives, Laos, or Latvia this season.
Should I go? Peace Palace Pitstop, it's confirmed...yea :D
This is now a big possibility, -not yet confirmed-, but per a private publication, there is a big chance that the Africa legs were (amazingly) something like this:
1.- USA > BRAZIL > Rio de Janeiro
2.- BRAZIL > ARGENTINA > Buenos Aires
3.- ARGENTINA > San Antonio de Areco
4.- ARGENTINA > ZAMBIA > Livingstone > ZIMBABWE > Victoria Falls > BOTSWANA > Kasane
5.- BOTSWANA > NAMIBIA > Kasika > BOTSWANA > Kasane > ZAMBIA > Livingstone > FRANCE > Paris
6.- FRANCE > Paris
7.- FRANCE > NETHERLANDS > The Hague

What team is that? ???
There's is no way under the laws of Zimbabwe we'd get to film in the country. Some of you need to read the travel advisory for Zimbabwe that I linked to previously...

visit 4 countries in just 2 legs... :funny:
visit 4 countries in just 2 legs... :funny:
All four countries, clockwise from NE, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia meet at a single point, very close to THE Victoria Falls (the natural wonder, not the town) along the Zambezi River and its afluents.
The airport used happens to be in Livingstone, Zambia, just 20km North, away from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (the town) where there was at least one task.
Another task that we know of, took place in Kasane, Botswana, 86km West; this task took them "across the Zambezi River to an orange flag marker and back" in the morning of June 30th.
Straight across the river from Kasane, the only land there is, is the Kasika Conservancy, Namibia.
This is how they may have set foot upon four countries while legs took place, mainly and mostly, in only two: Zimbabwe and Botswana.
Don't forget Angola........it is only about 10-20 miles away. If one wanted, you could visit 5 countries in a morning......

I am a little confused right now.
Can somebody post which 2 countries had pit stops in Africa?
Thanks :)
Interesting choice of pitstop greeter in Paris (park). Appears to be dressed in some sort of traditional North African garb. Could be from one of France's former colonies (ie Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya...), or not. :grins: ???
Leg 1 Rio De Janiero
Leg 2 Buenos Aires
Leg 3 Areco
Leg 4 Zambia (non eliminination)
Leg 5 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe U-Turn
Leg 6 Paris (non elimination)
Leg 7 The Haag, Netherlands
Leg 8 Rural Netherlands U-Turn
Leg 9 Kolkata, India
Leg 10 Beijing (non elimination)
Leg 11 Beijing
Leg 12 Guam (yay finally!)
Can't it be Leg 6 Zambia -> France -> Netherlands?
Paris is definitely a TBC leg, you can see the clue in Phil's back pocket. Plus they were first seen in The Hague less than a day later, suggesting no 12 hour Pit Stop.
Also, looks like the paparazzi made it to Zambia.

Sorry for the confusion! I mis-posted. Fixed! :noway:
I'm sorry but I'm very confused ???
So it is absolutely confirmed that they went to Zambia and Zimbabwe. What about Botswana and Namibia? Wasn't everyone pouncing on that just earlier today? Did they go to those four countries? Or did they just go to Zambia and Zimbabwe ???
Since they used the Netherlands to visit India in TAR 4, after India we will probably see either Thailand, Malaysia, New Zealand, or the Philippines. But they visited Malaysia in TAR24, Philippines in TAR25, Thailand in TAR26, maybe they'll visit New Zealand next. Or who knows maybe Thailand again for a consecutive season. Hoping for a Philippine leg! Jig or Pig US version needs to happen! :funny:

Sadly no any female that wear miniskirt like Sarah this season and no high heels. JAMES & SARAH <3
Okay. Let's start looking forward from here.
With Phil saying a 21 day race that means either a finale on 7/12 or 13 depending on whether or not you count start day.
So moving eastwards we should have 4 more legs PLUS the Finale Leg. So depending on a 4 team or a 3 team finale we have either 3 or 4 more elims.
With the limited time left...my guess is for a West Coast Finale.(duh) My guess may be a route via Hawaii to Oregon...note the word GUESS.
Where in between?
Had been hoping for Eastern Europe (Hungary?) but time might not allow that...
Still hoping for that false spoiler leg of Melbourne +Tasmania. :funny:
Any place in NZ would also be wonderful.
Bottom line.. anything is possible so keep looking!!
Why would he? ???

Not sure I would consider that a 100% guarantee, but thanks for the reminder.
I mentioned it here (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,31230.msg1108153.html#msg1108153). The exact quote was "...great places, new places..."
Working backwards:Urumqi is definitely not safe nowadays. Since the tension between Uyghurs and Chinese people grows rapidly in these few months and it is also dangerous as ISIS terrorists have been reported to infiltrate in Xinjiang region and captured by Chinese Police afterwards
- we've hit LA, Vegas, and Alaska recently and it seems that Hawaii and San Francisco work better as winter finales for WRP (idgi either). Maybe Seattle to redo another classic leg?
- eastbound nonstops to Seattle include Tokyo (we've just been here), Seoul (MERS), Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, Vancouver (which can be configured into a Seattle leg), and Calgary (not eastbound but close enough). I vote Beijing to keep with the funhouse mirror version of classic legs this route has going for it
- I was going to say SE Asia but five seasons have hit every relevant country save Brunei lol. While I'd love a leg in Cambodia I think dodging MERS means skipping most of these countries so for convenience sake I'll say another leg in China, with a lesser emphasis on generic modern Chinese culture - Chengdu (pandas!), Urumqi (deserts!), Qingdao (dams!), one of several cities featured on China Rush, etc.
- you know what country is nice presently, especially since it isn't hampered by...anything? The Maldives. Slightly difficult to get into/out of but that lends itself to bunching which production loves. Bonus - more footage of people not knowing where they are <3
- Since the Maldives are kind of a bottleneck it doesn't really matter where leg 8 is. We've gotten most of Europe in the past four seasons, plundering the Mediterranean in the process (sorry Greece, former Yugoslavia). Finland ia EXPENSIVE, and I have a suspicion the Urals might be visited this winter. Oddly enough I'm with Peach and guessing Hungary since we need another driving-heavy leg and aside from leg 3 I don't think we're getting it anywhere else
Tl;dr
Leg 8 - The Hague, Netherlands to Lake Balaton, Hungary
Leg 9 - Hungary to somewhere in the Maldives
Leg 10 - Maldives to Chengdu, China
Leg 11 - China to Beijing, China
Leg 12 - China to Seattle, Washington

Also, there are also many train station terrorist attacks in Yunnan,Sichuan in early 2015,Chengdu may not be safe for visit
But China is still remaining a high possibility.Hong Kong,Shanghai are the two cities which is safe
How about the Himalayan regions for China & Nepal? Are these locations possible for TAR visits? ??? It might be interesting to see legs in the Himalayas, but with the high altitude, it seems very questionable.Lijiang & Kunming in TAR18 were in the mountains of the Yunnan Province.
How about the HeiLongJiang province or JiLin province in China? I think they can infuse the Russian culture in HeiLongJiang province leg and the Korean culture in the JiLin province.Heilongjiang is a strong candidate for China
Tried to do some searching but up to no avail. I wonder where are they now? We haven't had a sighting. ???
We often lose them in India....
with the tight timeframe I can't imagine they would be in an extended pitstop. Keep your eyes peeled!

Oh, do you mean they're going to India? Or is somewhere in Middle East hard to get sighting as well? ???
Based on spoilers I think it makes sense to say that probably only M/M team remaining until at the very least leg 7 is Tanner and Josh because Ernest/Jin and Alex/Adam both weren't seen on the flight to Zambia and in Zambia guys with orange bandanas were spotted probably Tanner/Josh. I hope it makes sense :D
India was just a comment, not a spoiler. :escape
Pls Poland
I think they might jump to India, China, or both. There are so many possibilities to the point that even Maldives is possible! But he said there would be Asia though ???
In any case though, no Asian leg is confirmed yet, since they're still in Poland.
Idk...I smell Tasmania... blahblah

Cindy Chac's not Asian? :ascared
Which other racers look Asian then? ???
So we don't know if the Asian woman is a racer or just local
Phil just posted a picture on Instagram. Any idea where is this ?<From the sightings thread.
Hey, I'm a bit lost here probably, but since Zimbabwe is June 30 and Paris is only July 3, could there be a leg in between? Or is there no possibility for that due to travel and flight durations?
And also, I don't think anyone else has brought it up yet, but one of the first 4 legs is not an elimination, because Peach confirmed that 8 teams were racing in Zambia (leg 5).
Idk...I smell Tasmania... blahblah
It is not like these are all new unestablished tweeters. But yeah, a couple of pics would be nice!
Marionete just confirmed one of the first four legs is a NEL.
Well, you shouldn't really give me any credit for that, I just made the obvious conclusion. Peach confirmed leg 5 in Zimbabwe had 8 teams racing (and it was an elimination, but doesn't matter), so it's impossible for all of the first 4 legs to be eliminations, because then they would have 7 teams in Zimbabwe - contrary to what Peach confirmed.Marionete just confirmed one of the first four legs is a NEL.
Uh... that's obvious. Unless: What if it's a Zero Hour Pit Stop instead? ??? Unlikely, but there's a slim chance, around 5-10%.
I'm trying to catch up and need a bit of help. Who is looking like they're still in? I have a pretty good idea from reading this thread as to who's been tossed, but who's still in?
UTTER PRADESH, INDIA.
So India will be next???
Will it be Lucknow again???And the switchback task of Season 7
:<3
INDIA! :trampb: :trampb:
India was just a comment, not a spoiler. :escape
If this seasons is trying to recreate some of the classic tar routes (Zambia, France, Rio), then maybe they will visit the Taj Mahal again! The city of Agra is in Uttar Pradesh, which Peach confirmed :cheer: Be on the lookout for Taj Mahal!
India was just a comment, not a spoiler. :escape
:funny: I knew something was fishy. ;)
I'm glad India's getting a visit after quite some time. :conf:
It seems like Justin & Diana are safe through Poland. :conf:
Meanwhile, was Germany just a connection for flights, or was a leg held there? ???

As for now, everything indicates Germany (Frankfurt or Munich) is just a connecting point to Asia.
I actually agree with you.INDIA! :trampb: :trampb:
For me it's more like:
INDIA! (:;) (:;)
It has the second most Pit Stops (15), it's an overused country =/ If the following country is China (which holds the record, 18) then in my eyes they really dropped the ball on the tail end of this route.
Looking at how the route is so far, I expect China to be visited, but I hope TAR will surprise us.Really? 1 or 2 leg in asia only?
I doubt Australia & Oceania will be visited this season because Phil didn't say so from his list of continents.
5 seasons without Oceania???
I predict that they save Oceania for TAR28 start, then.

All starts and finishes MUST be on US soil.
As for the rest of this race:I live in Hong Kong and I know there are three typhoons.
Since India hasn't been visited since Season 20, I predict both legs 9 & 10 will be located there.
As for Leg 11, that could be a toss up:
- Southeast Asia: All countries (except for Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, and Brunei) have been visited within the last five seasons (22-26). However, I still think a new city or a city that hasn't been visited in a long time could be visited; maybe Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, Brunei (a new country), or (in my opinion, the most likely), Jakarta.
- East Asia: Production won't want to risk racers catching MERS, so I think South Korea is out. They visited Japan last season, but then again they also visited Netherlands, France, Southern Africa, and South America, so it could go either way with Japan. This leaves Taiwan and China. There is a typhoon heading straight for East Asia and will spread from Hong Kong to Korea, so I think this eliminates Taiwan and most of Eastern China. This leaves parts of China further inland, which, in my opinion, is pretty cool! They could copy some classic legs from China Rush and go to cities like Chengdu, Chongqing, or remote parts of the stunning Hunan and Yunnan provinces.
To sum it up, I'd put my money on leg 11 being in either Jakarta, Brunei, or inland China.
As for Leg 12:
- I'm putting my money on the Pacific Northwest, be it Seattle or Portland. They had a California finish in Season 25, so it's out. Hawaii and Alaska had finish lines in Seasons 20 and 23, respectively, and since the season would end on the West Coast, that leaves Washington & Oregon. Portland was visited only once in Season 13, and Seattle was visited in Seasons 3 (a finish line) and 10 (a starting line). I'd personally favor Seattle (might go to college there - go Huskies! :hearts:) but I think both cities are feasible!
In post 220 of live sightings and previous post here, I can only see Denise and James Earl, Justin and Diana.
They look very tired.
Safe until India (Leg 9):
Justin & Diana
Denise & James Earl
Tiffany & Krista
Logan & Chris
(?)
Voting for the cuties in gray, lol! Who wears LIME GREEN????
Here's a possible sighting. From his twitter account, it sounds like he might be from the Seattle area, but I suspect he's travelling. I can't tell where he might be located currently. I've asked for more information.

He certainly was in Auschwitz/Krakow and at the delayed flights mess up at the airport!!!
Last time Leg 9 wasn't F5 was in S18 so my speculation is that all 4 teams might be in F5 at this stage :yess:Assuming it's F5, then the question is who made it into that last spot -- Cindy & Rick or Tanner & Josh.

One hit Hong kong on 10/7,another two hit Shanghai and Japan
HK may still remain a high possibility since teams just start the leg 9
But East China and Japan may not be visited

Purely based on a post stating they saw two young guys with an asian lady in Krakow that has been bandied about - it could be wrong.
GP, as for Tiffany and Krista - they clearly have two very lime green backpacks as seen in previous sightings and one can be seen on the ground beside Denise in the photograph - surely that indicates it is them with their heads down?

I would like a bit more first..... but feel free to change my mind!

I just wonder what the probabilities are of:
1 Two young tanned brunette long-haired gals,
2 Sitting right next to two other teams (inches away),
3 At the right and same place and time (and showing up in the same picture),
4 Wearing black and lime green combined outfits as spotted before (lime green tee over black),
5 Wearing at least one visible sneaker that matches one pair of the previous pics (white with black-tipped sole),
6 And carrying the same color and matching style of backpacks as Tiffany and Krista.
My mind has been changed for a while. :didimiss:

Okay...it is now about 145 PM in India.
Teams arr'd Delhi at 1130ish and 1Am. (I feel for them...Delhi is discombobulating in the daytime...)
So...what next?
My SPEC is train to wherever...
Let's assume maybe Agra.
Night arrival
Figure out how to get to train
Choices TAXI vs Metro (may not run till 0500, but much faster /cheaper)
Arr Train Station
Take train to destination http://www.mapsofindia.com/railway-timetable/trains-from-new-delhi-to-agra-cantt.html (http://www.mapsofindia.com/railway-timetable/trains-from-new-delhi-to-agra-cantt.html)
(sample Agra==about 3+ hrs, first at 0500
Find task location
HOO??
Do tasks
So... we will see very tired racers dealing with the chaos of India AT NIGHT.
This is going to be EMMY worthy.
Here's a possible sighting. From his twitter account, it sounds like he might be from the Seattle area, but I suspect he's travelling. I can't tell where he might be located currently. I've asked for more information.

I seriously doubt that TAR teams went anywhere near Auschwitz. I have a couple of reasons for this. 1) No sightings....if teams had gone to Auschwitz/Birkenau we would have probably seen 10x the amount of tweets that we saw for Schindler's factory. The concentration/death camps are just that much bigger tourist destinations. 2) Auschwitz/Birkenau are NOT located in Krakow, contrary to what was posted earlier. Auschwitz/Birkenau are located in the Polish city of Oswiecim. Depending on how one drives there, it is either 65-70 kms or 85-90 kms from Krakow.

No one has said, written or mentioned that the teams or the race were in, or went to Auschwitz. I clearly stated that HE (the author) was on a trip that took him to Auschwitz/Krakow (meaning the area), then the airport. If he only spotted the racers at the airport, and the airport only; how can you possibly conclude, from this single sighting, that the racers could have gone anywhere else but the airport? It is only through other sightings that we know the race went to Krakow's city centre and maybe Schindler's factory.

I haven't heard back from him yet, but Xarles found his Facebook page and it appears he saw them at the airport in Poland. Doesn't say which one, but probably in Krakow? Talked about many delayed flights, seeing the Green team and talking with the camera man.
I did get a reply from Liam. here's what he said:

@Plaidmoon Kraków airport, all guy with girl teams, only 3 teams left as far as I could tell. They were really cool tho
4:38 AM - 9 Jul 2015
So, it was at the Krakow airport. Also, he says he saw 3 M/F teams. I'm not sure we had that many M/F teams worked out.
Can someone work on identifying rwruck's exact location in the airport? (presumed Krakow)
remember that we have 2 very clear reports of 3 MF teams in Krakow. Traveling together. via Frankfurt.
For there to be more than those 3 teams together it must be pre their split to the two flights right?
Would be nice to confirm that sighting location

Amazing Race .. producer ;) in Agra Uttar Pradesh
Amazing Race .. producer ;) in Agra Uttar Pradesh
Taj Mahal is in Agra!
The picture of the TAR producer in Agra that Candi Lee posted (good catch!) shows a box that says AP-3 Grease behind him. A little research shows that AP-3 grease is used to lubricate bearings in electric motors and automobiles among other things. It could mean nothing or it could suggest that there will be a visit to a factory or auto repair place. It could just be something TAR stores in their local India warehouse in case their equipment needs some maintenance.they are " local agra wasi " ??? lol
Or maybe they will repack the bearings on the Taj Mahal. :o
This definitely has the feeling of another set of season one throwback legs, doesn't it? Delhi, Agra, at a minimum.

This could be interesting, and wishing the teams and crew will be out of harm's way. I just pray there won't be another heat exhaustion incident with physically-draining tasks like in TAR14-Thailand.
I LOVED Jodhpur when I was there even in Monsoon season...but this might be challenging!!
Dust storm/no electricity/heavy rain :ascared :ascared :ascared
WE HAVE A BAD ELEPHANT! :<3
We will probably see either western China or Russia, since the weather poses a threat these days. And it would be easier to get back to the US after legs in those 2 countries.
And they are the same cities from TAR 1, legs 7 and 8. So I'm not complaining. Will it be Hong Kong?
In addition to the tropical cyclones in the Western Pacific headed towards different areas of China, we now have an active volcano in Indonesia that is affecting airline traffic, including Bali. It's going to be interesting to see where in fact the Race goes to after India.
Or what about a final leg in Mexico or Canada close to the border? like as a last minute thing
From India, they would have travel back to South Africa or U.K. or Russia.Myanmar? Are you aware that Myanmar has Martial Law! (:;)
But in that case, there's not a possibility to go BACK.
I would like to see a new country like Brunei, Myanmar, or Laos... If China is possible, storms approach the lower cities and therefore, should get to Beijing... or maybe a South Korea or Mongolia or Russia in Vladivostok?
???
must be in Oceania and get to Australia or New Zealand???
:gaah:

Btw, this route overall. <333333 I love the fact that we only had 2 2-legs-in-the-same-country! When was the last time we get this? 17? WHICH IS 10 SEASONS AGO!

As I have watched the weather forecast, the weather is pretty good until next thursday
Ruling out the volcanic eruption in indonesia,MERS in South Korea and the tropical cyclone hit Shanghai,Taiwan,Japan
Thailand is suffered from drought
It leaves out Vietnam,Southern and Middle part of China,Laos,Malaysia,Singapore
Hong Kong still remain the highest possibility

I don't know. Peach just said on the Live Sightings thread she thinks it might be local.
Yes, it was Krakow. The tweeter told me later, but I'm still waiting for more info.
Can anyone clarify if it really is Tiffany/Krista and Tanner/Josh? ??? I'm not too familiar with their faces, though the girl's shirt seems familiar :grins:

It is, I recognize the faces and both are indeed wearing the same shirts they wore at the starting line
We need Kelsey/Joey or Jasmine and Danielle to surface to confirm the leg 5 elimination.
Leg 7 should be elimination right. After tbc, is usually elimination.
As of now, 5 teams have made it to leg 8 and 4 to Leg 9. I think were missing 1 team for leg 8.
So Tanner & Josh are indeed safe to Poland. :oh
So the "president (or prime minster or whatever you wanna call!)" didn't proclaim the Martial Law in Myanmar (except Kokang)? In the 70s, President Marcos (of the Philippines) proclaims the Martial Law on the Philippines (but it ends in the 80s) (Just saying!). ???From India, they would have travel back to South Africa or U.K. or Russia.Myanmar? :gaah:
Martial Law is only in effect in the Kokang region of Myanmar. Even if I think Myanmar is quite unlikely, TAR can always surprise us... they went to Sri Lanka in Season 6 when the country was in a civil war and Thailand last season when the country had a coup d'etat, a nationwide martial law and other turmoil all in 2014.
For some reason, I think Australia or Taiwan might be given another visit.
So Tanner & Josh are indeed safe to Poland. :oh
It's how far Tiffany & Krista have gotten that surprises me. At first glance, I predicted an early boot for them. They kinda remind me of Nicky & Kim.
So Tanner & Josh are indeed safe to Poland. :oh

They finished 10th the first leg, so they remind me more of CaroJen. :ascared
Of course, there are many possible locations for the final leg. Hong Kong would be cool. Beijing would be cooler. South Korea is not likely, but might be possible. Japan is extremely unlikely considering the fact it was visited last season. A leg in Canada would be AWESOME, especially if it was Vancouver. That way, if teams DO go to Seattle for the final leg, they can take the train to get there.
My prediction for leg 11: probably Beijing, maybe Hong Kong or Vancouver.
I think we lost them for the penultimate leg. If the race is indeed 21 days long and the duration wasn't changed due to the weather situation, then they have probably wrapped up leg 11 as of now.
No sightings could mean that they haven't started due to frantic re structuring or there in a remote place maybe Vladivostock or even better Mongolia :luvya:
My perfect would be Myanmar, however unlikely.strong Hawaii vibes just guessing :umn:
Weather may delay or change things. Wondering about Guam>Hawaii>Seattle options, (SPEC not spoiling...just me thinking.)
One of the things to consider that for almost all trans-Pacific flights to the U.S. from east Asia, one has to go through either Shanghai, or Tokyo Narita, or both, based on what teams and production have had to do in the past.
About the only way I'm aware of that avoids those connections is the Air New Zealand flight in and out of LAX that flies direct to New Zealand. Then there's the need for flights to divert around the volcanic ash from the volcano that has erupted in Indonesia (the ash has reached levels of the atmosphere that can force passenger flights to divert around that area) and as of this morning, Bali airport is closed again.
I suspect the filming is on hold until they can get teams to wherever leg 11 is going to take place as well as getting flights to the final destination city. If past experience is any guide with the need to connect via Shanghai or Tokyo as opposed to using New Zealand to get back to the US, that may explain the lack of any social media sightings at this point. This is just speculation on my part, but I am baffled to come up with any other explanation other than a delay in order to allow the weather systems to clear out of the way for the flights to leg 11 and leg 12 destinations.

What about Sydney or Seoul or even Manila ( Or is Manila affected by the typhoon )
What about Sydney or Seoul or even Manila ( Or is Manila affected by the typhoon )
All three cities have required connections through either Tokyo or Shanghai in past Races. Manila is doubtful unless the leg was in the Philippines in the first place. The other issue at the moment would be the ash cloud that has closed Bali at times, due to wind direction, so a different wind direction might hamper flights in and out of Manila. (I haven't seen anything; and the only reason we're hearing about Bali is that a CNN correspondent (Will Ripley) has been stranded in Bali due to the ash cloud.
My friend just saw teams outside the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong!! She said she saw a green team holding a clue with cameramen, no further details yet..

Diana & Jason or Tiffany & Krista? Can you ask him, please?
So, are Tiffany & Krista safe as of Leg 11?
NO. The source said he saw a F/F green team
Misread that. Tiffany & Krista's team colour is really more yellow than green, so that was my conclusion.
NO. The source said he saw a F/F green team
So as of Leg 11 we only seen Tiffany & Krista. The rest of teams are unknown.
For reference, if the Race does take teams to Macao from Hong Kong, it would be a throwback to the season 11 leg 11.who's ready to crap their pants!! :yess:
So the HK/Macau as confirmed as penultimate leg?Not confirmed, but at least it's looking like it right now.
I will say as confirmed as it cann be withouta picture.
SO..what is next?
I have reason to believe the Finae leg must be done by 7/14.
So teams are in Macau (assumed) now where it is ~10PM.
They need to get themselves to HK airport either tonight (their time) or by a pretty early time in the AM.
If I were WRP I would want my racers all together in ione place asap.
There are options to get to HK airport.
You can take a ferry (STAR or Turbo tonight back to HK and then use taxi whatever to go to the airport. Might be best TV, nighttime footage. Would get them there to campout at airport tonight HK time, assumes a KOR OR a 4-5 pitstop like Panama. Can also do the same in the AM HK time but depending on departure time could be tight. Teams could be seen at ferry or arriving at airport.
They can also take the Turbojet ferry Macau>HK AIRPORT directly either last one tonight or first one this am. This is a restricted passport/airline ticket required and would arrive in an area beyond security at the airport.
Possible flights isted in transport.
SF, Seattle, Chicago even NYC all possible. Plus afew others. Won't be Dallas.
With the lack of sightings, Im thinking
A leg is a over and we missed them
B Tiffany/Krista were decoys and teams have yet to race to Macau
Weren't flights delayed out of Poland due to a storm?
Final City Guess: Seattle
Don't think its F4 TBC again

If they were to be headed to Chicago, the severe weather threat would be out of the way by the time teams made it there. The fact that NYC is an possibility does raise the possibility of a throwback to a TAR 1 finish at Flushing Meadows, which I would like with this particular route.Okay, thanks schnauzer. I will still be on the look-out for teams while driving about. I would be interested if teams had to NYC, but puzzled why since the city was visited in TAR21 and visited Flushing Meadows again during the start of TAR25.
So . . . no one's seen the teams at Hong Kong's airport yet? Figured they'd be there by now, unless it's a thirty-six-hour Pit Stop. There's no such thing as 12 hour or 24 hour or 36 hour fixed length pit stops any more. Teams no longer know how long a pit stop may be, or if there is one of any length at all.

Pure spec; if the rumblings about MYC are believed, it would be fantastic to have a Switchback to Hello/Goodbye memory task followed by the finish line at Flushing Meadows
They went to Alaska in season 23.I just remembered that.
They went to Alaska in season 23.I think flying to the San Francisco Bay Area is very possible (TAR16 kind of worked this way), but I'm sensing Oakland/Berkeley/Napa Valley more so than SF.
I'm smeling San Francisco.
I don't know how you guys are smelling or feeling some cities, but the only logical assumption we can make is that there is going to be a west coast finish line.Marionete, logic actually says that any U.S. city with a direct flight out of Hong Kong is a candidate.
Other than that, everything else is bending towards wishlists.
Don't want to be rude or anything, just... :gnome
the only logical assumption we can make is that there is going to be a west coast finish line.
I think SFO is out because of when the flight arrived (middle of the night). Cathay Pacific 806 to Chicago lands at 4:00 CDT (in about 3 hours). Cathay Pacific 830 to JFK just landed a few minutes ago.
Also, @travilana posted the pic of the crew at 11:15 last night in HK. S/he said the last flight out that night to US was to JFK. Crew could get on that flight to get ahead, and then teams take the flight the next morning (leaving at 9:36 am, consistent with morning sun in new pics posted).

He knows waaaay too much to be believed...he knows the tasks, locations and even the finish line.! Idk, i'm taking this with a grain of salt
That reminds me of an adage we say here and translated is something like this: "When the charity is big even the saint distrusts".

It has a nice ring to it.

Anyway, I'm hoping we get more information soon to support or deny the tweets. It sounds like georgiapeach may have found something.
New York confirmed.

That would add to the nostalgia factor :D

God, I am so unlucky compared to him :'(
I am SO proud of you for going out there looking!! You were in the right place just at the wrong time...But YOU did all you could and I appreciate it!
I will say this-- I've tried a few times today on Twitter, and I haven't seen anything. Given that and the lack of incoming here, the teams have either been well hid, or the weather really has kept potential bystanders indoors.
Josh posted on his Instagram (now public) an hour ago that they survived the adventure of a lifetime. He's saying he's the final 3 right?
He COULD be saying that though, right? I remember Robbie said in a pre-race interview that he and Brooke "never got to go" to sequesterville. Alright, it's not that important anyway... at least yet.Josh posted on his Instagram (now public) an hour ago that they survived the adventure of a lifetime. He's saying he's the final 3 right?
Of course he is NOT saying that. Contestants sign NDA's and would be subject to legal action, hefty fines, and the loss of any financial prizes/awards. Why risk it? I am sure he is JUST saying "survived"....for however long that may/may not be.

Agreed. I'm shocked that there weren't any sightings except for the one guy. I figured we would get a few at the airport where the weather shouldn't have been a problem. I was looking on Twitter all day, not just for mentions of amazing race, but for every keyword I could think of. Nothing. Didn't see anything on Instagram either, though I wasn't very thorough there.
I expect we'll find out more in the next few days.
At least I was right when I said I thought New York was likeliest out of the rumors I'd heard.

I'm just going to go with my gut and say... China. :funny:

I am going to share a joke ... It is common knowledge that the TMZ team was eliminated first and I don't think it is a big deal that people know which team was eliminated first as it is only the first team ... and ... TMZ always have fast-breaking news so I called the TMZ hotline and asked the staff who answered something to the effect that everyone knows the TMZ team was eliminated first, so when are they going to cover the story? I said "the world is waiting!" ... the staff who answered the phone hung up on me ...
You should check the timeline thread.
No confirmed eliminations are known, other than TMZ on leg 1.

It's very possible he was working on TAR and now that filming is over, he's working on another project. Obviously, there's no way to tell or to determine the location from the picture. Although I wonder if they actually do much sound processing at the pit stop locations, so maybe it is for another project.

Also, on a sidenote, I'm gonna speculate something.
Leg 11 had only Tiffany and Krista spotted.
Since it looks like no other teams were spotted after them, I'm thinking 3 teams were in front of them ,making them last.
Unless the leg was unusually challenging and other teams struggled, T/K have a slim chance for the finals
Just a thought...................

I am not sure... That post was from 11th or 12th leg?
It would be great have another FF team in F3. :hearts: I follow both on Instagram, and they seem so excited and proud of themself. :hoot: They constantly mention TAR. OMG, I hope that they won. :<3 They have advantage of home city, which increased their chance, I think.
It is interesting that they made this far, when they were almost eliminated in 1st leg.
As far as the boot order goes, I am most looking forward to watch Denise & E.J.'s journey. Hoping they can be the first mother-son team to win! :wohoo:They are more similar to Jamie & Cara!
With Tiffany & Krista sightings popping up sporadically during the live filming, I am eager to see what they have done to stay ahead (or separate) of the pack. They remind me of Dustin & Kandice for some reason, but they look like the stronger version of Kellie & Jamie.
Casting did a fantastic job for this season!
Tiffany & Krista:Caroline and Jennifer 2.0 :luvya:
-Seen switching Detours and nearly getting eliminated on Leg 1
-Seen panicking in Argentina
-Randomly popping out in every leg
-Maybe winning Leg 11

So when is this season's cast going to be officially announced? Wednesday of this week (which means later today) or next week? I know we're about at the time when the casts of TAR and Survivor typically get announced. Just not sure which is this week and which is next week.

Not today. But soon!
I thought today, that since they did a W-Turn on leg 1 last season, it would be awesome to see a Fast Forward on leg 1. :trampb:OMG MY WISH CAME TRUE

I can only think for a "throwback" season there should be an ensemble of suspenseful music like in the golden age of TAR (11-17).
When is the cast going to be revealed? Something must be going on they would have posted in by today. :(

They released the cast back on the first day of filming. Take a look at the TAR 27 EP 1 topic for a list of names.
So this is title quote of the premiere episode of TAR 27? "A Little Too Much Beefcake"?
1. Somebody really ripped and muscular. Usually male.
2. Used ironically to describe somebody extremely overweight. Popularized by an
early episode of South Park in which Cartman drinks weight gain formula and gets
really huge.
3. A cake made of meat. Almost always beef.
Am I not aloud to watch the Utube videos because it says they're not available is it because I'm in the Uk. I find it odd because I could watch the ones for Tar 25 & Tar 26

So guys my mom was in Poland like 2 years ago and i showed her the preview of TAR 27 and she is pretty sure place where Joey and Kelsey are is in Krakow so that might mean that they made id to top 6 over Rick/Cindy :)
Here's what I have right now, based on the awesome work on the preview and cross-referencing Oval's tracker:
Kelly/Shevonne make it to Rio de Janeiro (seen in Copacabana)
Alex/Adam make it to Buenos Aires (seen in Rio de Janeiro Airport)
Ernest/Jin make it to San Antonio de Areco (seen at Pit Stop)
Jazmine/Danielle make it to Victoria Falls (seen at Sao Paulo Airport)
Cindy/Rick make it to Paris (seen at Johannesburg Airport)
Kelsey/Joey make it to Krakow (seen at Schindler's Factory)
Logan/Chris make it to India (seen at Krakow Airport)
Denise/James Earl make it to India (seen at Krakow Airport)
Tanner/Josh make it to India (seen with winter melons)
Justin/Diana make it to India (seen running with kids)
Tiffany/Krista make it to Hong Kong (seen at Tsimshatsui)
Barring any weirdness like double eliminations, this means that the 1st NEL must happen in or before Zimbabwe (Leg 5), and the 2nd NEL must happen in or before the Hague (Leg 7).
There might be a way to calculate the chances of each team, but the only one I have right now is for Kelly/Shevonne, who have a just a 20% chance of surviving Leg 1 (with a well-placed NEL in Rio de Janeiro) and a 5% chance of making it past Leg 4.
I think that's Kelsey/Joey at the simulator, but yes I forgot Phil's clue in his pocket!
The first non-elimination must still be in Zimbabwe or before, and we have a KOR in Paris. I'm thinking the last non-elimination would be in the second half of the race?
Leg 1: United States > Brazil
Leg 2: Brazil > Argentina
Leg 3: Argentina
Leg 4: Argentina > Zambia
Leg 5: Zambia > Zimbabwe
Leg 6: Zimbabwe > France
Leg 7: France > The Netherlands
Leg 8: The Netherlands > Poland
Leg 9: Poland > India
Leg 10: India
Leg 11: India > China
Leg 12: China > United States
So... only two double legs?!
The 11 destinations for the new season of THE AMAZING RACE are announced and
include Agra, India; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Hong Kong/Macau, China; Krakow,
Poland; Long Island, New York; Paris, France; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; San
Antonio de Areco, Argentina; and Victoria Falls Zambia. Plus, for the first
time, the Race visits the country of Zimbabwe and the city of Rotterdam,
Netherlands. The 11 new teams will depart from Venice Beach, Calif. and travel
to their first destination, Rio de Janeiro, where theyll immediately encounter
a potentially game changing fast forward. Along the route, teams will race
through five continents, 10 countries and more than 34,000 miles. They will
learn a tango with a twist in Buenos Aires, Argentina, drop mics with a French
rapper in Paris, France, partake in a high-flying water show in Macau, China,
and freefall more than 200 feet into the Batoka Gorge and swim with crocodiles
in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The 27th season of the 10-time Emmy Award-winning
series premieres Friday, Sept. 25 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television
Network. Phil Keoghan (@philkeoghan) is the host.

So, let's get with the latest update as Candi posted in the live tweets thread:
Leg 1: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Kelly/Shevonne eliminated
Leg 2: Buenos Aires, Argentina - Alex/Adam possibly eliminated
Leg 3: San Antonio de Areco, Argentina - Ernest/Jin Lao eliminated and last seen in a gaucho challenge
Leg 4: Victoria Falls, Zambia - NEL
Leg 5: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe - Possible double U-Turn; F8 elimination: Jazmine/Danielle eliminated
Leg 6: Paris, France - KOR
Leg 7: Rotterdam, Netherlands; F7 elimination: Cindy/Rick eliminated
Leg 8: Krakow, Poland - NEL
Leg 9: Agra, India - U-Turn confirmed at Raja Ka Mindi, plus Pit Stop also confirmed at Taj Mahal; F6 elimination: either one of Kelsey/Joey, Logan/Chris, Justin/Diana, Tanner/Josh or Denise/James Earl eliminated, Kelsey/Joey make it to India
Leg 10: Possibly Macau - F5 elimination: either one of Kelsey/Joey, Logan/Chris, Justin/Diana, Tanner/Josh or Denise/James Earl eliminated
Leg 11: Hong Kong - Tiffany/Krista make it to Tsim Sha Tsui; possible F4 elimination - either one of Kelsey/Joey, Logan/Chris, Justin/Diana, Tanner/Josh or Denise/James Earl eliminated
Leg 12: Long Island, New York - Possibly a regular F3 race

The U-Turn board posted in live sightings looks way too small to be a Double U-Turn or is that just me?
The first NEL will definitely be Leg 4 - Victoria Falls, Zambia - guaranteed. I just know it, and Leg 5 may contain the first Double-Turn if not the third leg.
Possible second NEL will be Leg 6 in Paris, and I won't go into detail here about why.
Third non-elimination leg will most likely be the ninth leg, India 1. The eleventh leg in Macau may be a TBC/Non-Elimination as well given what has happened last two seasons. If there is a TBC leg this season that is NOT Leg 11 then then 11 will surprise us with a straight NEL with a 12 hour rest period. Then 4 teams will enter the finals with a mid elimination on Leg 12.
:spy: Raja ki Mandi, Agra, Uttar Pradesh,(http://i1214.photobucket.com/albums/cc494/AllAboutTAR/tar27/11140373_773321142784807_1214261640974964410_n.jpg) (http://s1214.photobucket.com/user/AllAboutTAR/media/tar27/11140373_773321142784807_1214261640974964410_n.jpg.html)
So there are three NELs on this race, one of which is KOR/TBC leg occurs in leg 6 (Paris). Legs 4 (Zambia) and 8 (Krakow) are NELs. Legs 9-11 are straight elimination legs. As the 12th leg will be F3 race from Hong Kong/Macau to New York's Long Island.
Since there's double U-turn in the next leg what if it's elimination since Jazmine and Danielle haven't been seen since that? And Double Non-Elimination after that just like in Season 5 maybe I don't know if i want that though :D

Wait what if Leg 5 was ACTUALLY not an EL but 4 was =/
We already know this from spoilers.
8 Teams were seen doing the 2nd African leg tasks. That means that leg 4 is either a KOR or a NEL.
And we know for a fact that leg 5 IS an ELIM.

How bad were your predictions this time?
Keoghan: Always wrong. I was very sad about the dancers. I think of all the teams, from a personal level, that was the team I wanted to see win. I wanted to be part of the story where these dancers come in, one of whom is living in his car, and they have this once-in-a-lifetime experience around the world and walks away with enough money to change his life. I was surprised they were eliminated as early as they were. It felt like they would've gotten stronger as they went on. They were like Dave and Mary, completely out of their element. This was something so fresh and so new for them. Talking to fans online, they really love them and miss them.
I always felt like [Jackie (of TAR26)] had more potential on the Race too. [Jeff & Jackie] got unlucky in Monaco with directions.
Everybody's like, "Oh my God! They know so much." People are nervous with them around because they are walking encyclopedias of The Amazing Race. We've had superfans on the show before, but these guys are a whole other level. I would not think that's an exaggeration [that he has seen every season three times].
Again, all the planets have aligned for a major showdown in Africa. We have all the ingredients for a dramatic leg in Africa and it is really dramatic. Then I can't wait for tomorrow's episode! :hearts:
That table doesn't looked real at all. No Tanner & Josh and Tiffany & Krista placing 9th on 7th leg? Probably fake.
I just checked the timeline after a long time, and it seems that Cindy & Rick are at risk alone for 3 legs. (Legs 6, 7, 8 ) :ascared
I just checked the timeline after a long time, and it seems that Cindy & Rick are at risk alone for 3 legs. (Legs 6, 7, 8 ) :ascared
Remember that our "at risk' status is based on LIVE sightings.
And... Not seen does not mean NOT THERE. So all "at risks" should be considered with that in mind. :waves:
#peachhatesbootlists
Speaking about the timeline, I didn't pay enough attention to the spoilers as they were coming but do we really not know anything of the teams beyond Top 6? Considering RFF's track record I find that incredible. I'm ok not knowing bootlist but RFF not knowing much is surprising.
Just speculating.... what if India 1 is a KOR too?
I don't think we'll be seeing the Speed Bump this season :gnome
Winner speculation:
Tiffany & Krista have an edit similar to Mona & Beth. "We're SO much stronger than others may think! We're not just moms! We're not just cheerleaders!" I feel that based on this, they will get 3rd. That doesn't necessarily rule them out of winning, though. Just something to think about.
People have said Justin & Diana are the villains of the season. Unfortunately (for me... and maybe others), they don't really seem to have a villain edit. I honestly feel they have a victim edit. Sure, they're part of the rivalry, but they've never actually been shown being evil or saying evil things about the other teams. And Justin being annoying is him being overly positive, not him being negative to the other teams. And that random arc (Justin vs. Diana) that started last episode... why do I feel like they're going to win? They're similar to Dave & Connor of TAR 24, as they are "victims" and despite being part of a rivalry, they're never really shown being malicious. Justin & Diana are MUCH more tolerable, though.
Joey & Kelsey I feel have the biggest chance right now. They better not be cheated with a Jeremy & Sandy edit if they don't win. There has to be a reason they weren't shown arguing in that statue Detour earlier in the Race. Amy & Maya apparently argued a lot in Leg 2 but it wasn't shown. Laura & Tyler always talked bad about other teams in their insider videos. Though with Joey & Kelsey, it could simply be that the editing is horrible as we have all seen. :res:
Josh & Tanner are not gonna win with all the negativity they have towards Justin & Diana. Oddly, they're the first alpha M/M team that I've liked (in a while?) and sadly, I do not think they're going to win or even make Final 3.
Logan & Chris are going to be the typical bickering team that misses out on the Final 3 due to mistakes and... bickering
Denise & James Earl would get 3rd if they made the Final 3. Not much else I could say about them ???
Well, based on the edit this is my opinion.
- Tanner & Josh, probably placed 6th by got U-Turned and eliminated. Their edit is too focus on U-Turning tactics and I think them getting eliminated by U-Turn (Probably from Green Team) will fulfill their arc. OR 4th/5th and get eliminated by Tanner's injury made him perform the RB slowly (AKA Vanessa in season 20) since it's really weird that they kind of drop this storyline along the way. So they might save it to highlight during the leg they got eliminated. I don't really see them making F3. (Especially after they over-edit their U-Turn plan that failed miserably in Zimbabwe)
- Kelsy & Joey. I think they might placed 6th by getting U-Turned off the race. Their 'Puppet Master Trick' might backfire them and made them become target of U-Turn. Or else I see them making it easily to F3.
- Denise & James Earl. Sadly, I think their fate are sealed as either 3rd/4th place. They're underdog, fun and entertaining team. But I can see they messed up at the critical point and got thrown out of the game like Nick & Don or Toni & Dallas.
- Logan & Chris. Bickering and really invisible UNLESS they're bickering or having a meltdown made me think of Jelani & Jenny. So I think they might make it to the very end but got 2nd.
- Justin & Diana. They have weird edit. First they're staring with Superfan and Justin get really emotional with the race. Then, they're start to have rivalry edit and become super competent. Then, Diana start to shine and they have bickering edit. So I don't know. But I think I remember them throwing shade when they're not win in Zimbabwe which really reminded me of Tyler & Laura and make me afraid that they might win this all. I think they're a lock for F3 in my opinion.
- Tiffany & Krista. I see their edit similar to Amy & Maya? Invisible for the first couple legs. Every time they appeared on the scene it's always positive and energetic. They even got their U-Turn fail arc like Amy & Maya. And since they're making it to F4 at least, I don't see them as F4 boot. They're either 3rd or 1st I think.
Another interesting fact is that they're 3 teams that become member of RFF after the filming. Which make me think this might be a Final 3.
Agreed. TBCs have never been followed immediately NELs. Since they're the one team with no evidence or proof of being around on later legs, it has to be they who go out tomorrow.I just checked the timeline after a long time, and it seems that Cindy & Rick are at risk alone for 3 legs. (Legs 6, 7, 8 ) :ascared
Remember that our "at risk' status is based on LIVE sightings.
And... Not seen does not mean NOT THERE. So all "at risks" should be considered with that in mind. :waves:
#peachhatesbootlists
I think Cindy & Rick will be eliminated next leg, making the Krakow leg either an NEL or another elimination leg.
Also, I think TAR doesn't care about edit if you're a reasonably competent, reasonably *nice* team (Bates & Anthony, Ernie & Cindy, Kisha & Jen, Nat & Kat). ****ty racers will be shown as Good People who overcame the odds (Dan & Jordan, Brent & Josh, Amy & Maya) while bad people will be shown as enjoying the race AND the runners up will usually be worse (Laura & Tyler, Dave & Connor, Jason & Amy, Rachel & Dave). I think Tiffany & Krista are sliding towards the first and could see Texas/Justin winning over Justin/Texas as a moral victory (lol) if they both make it that far.

Season 25's winners really deserve it, Amy & Maya. An underdog team that slayed it at the end despite the other teams ridiculing them. Very happy that Brooke & Robbie got eliminated at midpoint and Misti & Jim only came in 2nd. I would have loved if Kym & Alli made it further than Misti & Jim. Last season's winners were absolutely terrible Laura & Tyler... a pair of backstabbing racers who bad-mouthed the other teams. What a horror of a human being. It should have been Hayley & Blair that should have won. Here's to hoping that Tiffany & Krista will win. They are similar to Amy & Maya, they both enjoy the Race and the experiences and clearly they are having a good time. They both have been at the back and at the front of the pack and wasted their U-Turn power. They are both also viewed by other teams as weak. I just really feel that they will win. They have been a surprise in the live sightings thread and popping out every leg with a speculation of being the lead team in HK. :hoot: :hoot:

Every winner deserved their win even if you like them or not. The winning teams won even before viewers knew them or liked/hated them.
You think Amy and Maya deserved it because you loved them and you think Tyler and Laura did not deserved it because you didn't like them.
Back to this season, I don't think edit will give us any speculation about the winner anymore. Even Logan and Chris can be the winner tbh.
The Race clearly brings out the real personality of a person.
The Race clearly brings out the real personality of a person.
I disagree. The race brings out a person as they are when they suffer from exhaustion, sleep deprivation and extreme stress. Then the editors take the material they get and present us with what they think we should see.
The editors have a lot of power when they select which sequences to include and which to cut. And they are also known for taking sequences or audio out of context and merging it with other stuff.
So what you see is a long way off from what the person really is like.
.... And this picture from the water show in Macau is Kelsey?
.... (Kelsey performing water show)?
From the season preview, I agree with TAR456 that it was Logan & Chris on jetski in Long Island. Since I think there are another task involved diving and picking up clue in that preview too which might happened after the jetski.

So 3 of the Final 4 is Logan & Chris (Make it to NY), Tiffany & Krista (Spot in HK) and Joey & Kelsey (Kelsey performing water show)? Just my two cent though.
Agreed. I'm thinking that Tanner & Josh and Denise & James Earl really might be the next two teams out. The editing has done a good job of building up the U-Turn business, so that will probably take Tanner & Josh out. Denise & James Earl might simply fall from just as simply sucking like they have been most of the race. From the season preview, I agree with TAR456 that it was Logan & Chris on jetski in Long Island. If that's the case, then Justin & Diana probably are the other members of the Final 4.
Denise & James-Earl are pretty competent though? If anything, it's shocking Logan & Chris potentially made the finale

Thanks for sticking up for us! We struggled in Paris but we made up ground and currently have a fairly decent leg average!
Is there possible the finish line of TAR 27 is Statue of Liberty Island?
That, and the fact that the final leg takes place in Long IslandIs there possible the finish line of TAR 27 is Statue of Liberty Island?
No, there would be too many tourists here.
Is there possible the finish line of TAR 27 is Statue of Liberty Island?
The water looks too clear and blue to be Long Island imo
I would love to see Chris and Logan in F3!!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
While I wouldn't have said this a few weeks ago, I can believe Tanner & Josh could be going home. They haven't been the same since Africa, and now that their storyline has run its course, in their edit they're just kinda...there. Plus nothing is seen of them past going to India.
Though I expect more talk about taking out Justin & Diana when the second U-Turn shows up.
I'm talking about how they talk now that the season is all over.
They don't sound at all humble. They talk about the mistakes other people made. They talk about how they didn't know that others were working against them at the beginning (but they're all friends now). And they talk like all their hard work paid off.
After the season is over and we're all watching the show and they're commenting on the episodes on facebook fan pages, you might expect a team to apologize for how cocky they came off and say they have learned to be more humble. But they continue to sound cocky, and say that their performance justified their attitude.

I don't usually read racers'/casuals' Facebook comments, but this sounds on-point. :( :gaah:

If they win ... well, at least my percolating Amazing Race 26: What If? game can encourage people who hate Justin & Diana to get some revenge! :) BTW, I won't do any What If? games until after the season is over, so you probably have a while to wait.
I highly doubt Justin & Diana would be coming off this unlikable if they won. . . .I'm talking about how they talk now that the season is all over.

A while ago someone posted a spoiler on wiki, a lot of people thought it is fake - but it predicted Cindy & Rick would be 7th and Tanner and Josh 6th. I believe now the spoiler was true. The spoiler said that Kelsey & Joey will be 5th, Tiffany & Krista 4th, Logan & Chris 3th, Justin & Diana 2th and Denise & James Earl will win. I believe it is correct!!!! Justin & Diana are the tippical dominatig strong team who never wins in the end, and denise and james earl are more clever than the girls nad the paparazzi so they could beat them in the end.

in what universe are denise/james-earl boring lol
IDK, I really think next week might be the time Kelsey & Joey take out Justin & Diana, I think that photo of them at the U-Turn from sightings looks like them taking a picture out.
Logan & Chris/Tiffany & Krista will just presumably be a red herring in the preview for the U-Turn next leg, similar to Afghans going "Who should we U-Turn" on TAR23 and Margie & Luke's preview on TAR18.
does this image convince you dear :cheer: im happy they got in the finales

I hope it is not true, because I am not a fan of denise and Earl. I know that everyone could edit it, but it was only few hours in the night, so it could have been a mistake and true. It's Wikipedia. Even you can spam it and play with it. ;) I wouldn't recommend you to do so though.

I hope so, I dont like denise and ealr. But dont yo think the have a winners edit like amy and maya? I dont believe that gree team cold win it, the team who is dominating like amber and rob, brenchel, the dentists etc. never wins.

Anybody have any ideas about the possible final/memory challenge?
Early on this season I was thinking about different ways of transportations or task were they were required to get on some vehicle.
Leg 1 waterbike
Leg 2 recycling carts/statue delivery truck (detour so unlikely) or even the horses at the pitstop
Leg 3 pick up truck to san antonio de areco
Leg 4 flying machine over Victoria falls.
Leg 5 their feet during the lion walk (yeah... I have nothing)
Leg 6 the airplane for the roadblock
Leg 7 maybe the water taxi or one of the trains
Leg 8 the pool-boat (yeah... I have nothing)
Any ideas?
Maybe they'll bring back the TAR12-style memory task. :conf:
I think Tanner and Josh get u-turned in leg 9. They are doing detour A here (http://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race/video/5AAFFAE8-E937-1314-5099-092B0AB45528/the-amazing-race-it-s-always-the-quiet-ones-preview-/ second 00:08 cans on the left) and detour B here (http://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race/photos/1005276/first-look-six-teams-are-met-with-the-dreaded-u-turn-on-the-amazing-race-ep-9/97707/tanner-and-josh-work-their-way-thorugh-detour-b-/).YES! Hope that's true! :yess: :yess: :yess: :yess: Bye-bye, Tanner & Josh! HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:
Do we know if Kelsey & Joey survive this leg for sure? But you're probably right about there possibly being no bunching :res:Someone pointed that the girl shown in the Macau Parade task in the season preview looks like Kelsey

I agree that it looks like Justin and Diana will win ... However, posts indicate that Justin is bragging on social media about how well they did ... Therefore, it makes me wonder if they did win, because there is the multi-million dollar penalty clause against disclosure written in the contract. As long as they don't claim they win the whole race (i.e. Win the final leg)

To me it looks like Diana in Macau not Kelsey. The clincher for me is the difference in height between Diana and Kelsey; Kelsey is taller than Diana and the person in the photo (if a racer) looks shorter than Kelsey.
I vote that Kelsey and Joey got u-turned by Justin and Diana and are eliminated in Agra, India. :ascared
I'm really hoping that the title quote is said by whichever team (probs Logan and Chris) U-Turned J/D OR the team that came in 4th after narrowly beating (and eliminating) J/D, in the context of "It's not easing beating Green, but we did it!" and that the producers are trying to throw us off.
Of course, I doubt the producers are crafty enough to do that, and it's, sadly, probably just teams complaining about Justin and Diana's capable racing abilities.
Any chance it's neither? Like it's just a non-racer participant demonstrating how the task might work?(http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd171/wdwmaps/compare_zpstbbselzg.png)
:ascared
When I zoom in I see Kelsey not Diana
I don't think we even had quote about reference for past leg before? If it were the case that some teams beat J&D and said it happily, it should be the title for episode 10. So I'm pretty sure J&D made F4. :res: Really HOPE I'm WRONG about this though.:funny:
But this is a really LAME quote and I'm so PISSED it somehow spoil the F4. WORST TITLE EVER. :res:
At this rate, the title for finale will likely be 'Justin & Diana, you're the winner!'. :res:
Adding to it, in Tanners interview question it give hint that the Green Team won the season.I don't see how that hinted that they won, but that's just me.

IMO, I don't think something like "beating the green team" is a good title quote for an episode if they've already been eliminated. :stareExactly :'( :'(
(http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac121/strainos5011/TAR27CAPS/TAR2700154_zpsgn52z6ad.png) can anyone confirm me Logan and Chris is in the finale leg (Long Island)
And how do you know that's the finale leg?I got a fortune teller in my house :trampb:
And how do you know that's the finale leg? There's no reason to Jet Ski in Agra or HK/Macau

How about the guy on the right? It could be Joey or Justin. It's hard to tell because he's wearing a hat. But basing on the picture it looks like Joey.

Which guy? I think that's a girl and she might be the instructor.
More from Adam!! :hearts:
I saw the green team with the two women and I saw them at the ferry terminal
Yes, I guess going, the ferry goes to Macau I think :) sorry no pics and about 30 mins ago
This terminal is an international one with TurboJet, I think it is Macau but I'm not 100% sure :)
Am I the only one who is dreading the upcoming leg, expecting Annoying and Diana to win the leg again thanks to a linear leg, with Logan and Chris being U-TURNed and possibly going home, but I believe because it's linear, Denise and Earl James get so far behind and may be eliminated as well?
The only possibilities of an excitement is for Kelsey and Joey sneaking in a win, Tiffany and Krista getting 3rd place or better, or Denise and Earl James some how surviving from their disadvantage of starting last on a linear leg.
With that said, I'M SO HOPING I AM SO WRONG PLEASE. KTHXBYE

Final Three finale!
According to the episode preview at the end of this week's episode, the next leg will have a "shocking elimination" in the next Pit Stop that a team will be eliminated at the end of leg 11.
Only "shocking" ending would be Justin & Diana getting eliminated. Kelsey & Joey and Tiffany & Krista have won no legs at all and have not dominated at all. Them being booted wouldn't be a shock at all. And we know Logan & Chris are in the F3 due to the picture of them on the jet ski. So I can't think of anything shocking other than Justin & Diana (Justin, especially) finally being hit by his own hubris.(http://i.imgur.com/otgu43O.png)

Phil said, "The Final 4 head to Hong Kong... where costly mistakes lead to a shocking finish," in the preview... doesn't necessarily mean elimination.
I think Tiffany & Krista are out. They seem most likely to make a fatal mistake (that comes with a penalty) at this point of the Race. I would say Logan & Chris are most likely, but they were already spotted in F3. Plus, I don't think they'd flat out spoil Justin's reaction to elimination. Something more than just "arriving last" happens :'( and neither Tiffany & Krista looked happy.
My guess is Justin & Diana do arrive last (in a close finish) but someone (guessing the Cheerleaders) gets a penalty.
I need to see Kelsey & Joey's faces again. Or the preview altogether. Who was at the Pit Stop together and who was not?
Plz find the exact source/post? :hearts:Phil said, "The Final 4 head to Hong Kong... where costly mistakes lead to a shocking finish," in the preview... doesn't necessarily mean elimination.

I don't think. Someone saw T/K at pit stop interview during race's filming. And they looked like that they made final 3.

Where is that spoiler? I don't follow the sighting this season and I don't see it in Timelines.
We know they got a clue at Peninsula Hotel so no just touch down.
Found a gentleman that saw, what I assume are Tiffany & Christa ......?
July 13th
The Amazing Race is filming behind me... Pretty cool! At the Hong Kong Airport.
I didn't realize who they were until the filming was over. It was the current first place team sharing their thoughts. They are now on their way to an art gallery here in Hong Kong... Or they think that they out maneuvered the other teams. I did hear that this team is from Long Island City (Queens), NY. I did speak briefly with a camera man

This is... (One of Tiffany & Krista lives in Long Island.)I think that was them arriving at the airport, not leaving for NYC. Unless it was them waiting for their flight to NYC.We know they got a clue at Peninsula Hotel so no just touch down.

Almost all the other teams have taken a backseat to these two. Which other teams do you like?
Keoghan: I like the mixture, like Denise and James Earl. I did penalize her for cheating. ... It's incredibly difficult for team members to stand back and watch during Roadblocks.
You're gonna see in an upcoming episode someone get really frustrated with their teammate because they're just struggling like crazy. Their teammate is just beside themselves watching them fail over and over again. It's really hard. There's a tremendous amount of guilt for people when they feel like they're letting down a teammate. We've seen it before.
Take it FWIW.

Based on the PREVIEW, it's Tiffany comforting Krista. But I don't see her getting frustrated. So maybe Justin/Diana.
I feel like it wouldn't be a "shocking" elimination if it weren't Green getting out, penalties or no penaltiesNobody said shocking elimination. The preview specifically states shocking finish. Probably the same thing, but maybe what's shocking is HOW it happens, not necessarily WHO gets eliminated.

I also think that it is Justin getting frustrated. But I'm wondering, does the preview of Tiffany comforting Krista lead to a penalty because she did this before the task was finished? Just a random thought I had.
Shocking finish is that: footrace to Pitstop by 4 teams. The smartest guess here IMO
Here's another theory: (OMG I SHOULD STOP LOL IM TOO ANXIOUS AND HOPEFUL)
Logan & Chris win the leg.
Kelsey & Joey finish 2nd, with Justin & Diana right on their tails.
Justin gets a penalty. (the crying in the first part of the Preview)
Justin & Diana wait on the side (like in the Preview).
Tiffany & Krista arrives, they think they're last (the crying in the Preview), but then Phil calls Justin over and eliminates them.

If Justin & Diana get time penalty (most likely), they have to wait near the pit stop right?
My speculation:
Justin & Diana 3rd place, get time penalty.
Tiffany & Krista 4th place, when they run to the pit stop they see Justin/Diana and know that J/D get penalty. When T/K arrive at the pit stop, Phil ask J/D come to the mat and tell them that T/K also get time penalty. Justin collapse in a big sigh of relief because he's still in the race and T/K eliminated.
I HOPE I'M WRONG. If this happened, i'm done, kthxbye....
Am I the only one who thinks that the title quote from Leg 12 is said by Krista?
I think Kelsey & Joey win the leg, or the one that counts. Usually when the edit shows a team talking about getting no 1st places over and over...a win comes.

Not exactly, Nathan & Jennifer get this type of edit and they had never won any legs. :(

They should win TAR12 :(
I was wonder if all for teams will be racing in the Finals. The Title We Got a Chance Baby sounds like something Justin might say. So J&D finish last and are not eliminated. I hope I am wrong.

Thankfully the race doesn't care who deserves to win the raceThis is the essence of why I love TAR so much. :<3
Yeah, that's why I don't get it when people complain something like this team is robbed, other teams should win lol
On the opening credits there was a lock shown with Denise & James Earl on it and we assumed it'd be a task in either Paris or Kraków, but it never showed. Do you think it was an un-aired task or they were just showing Paris? The locks were part of the chains that were attached to the uniforms teams wore in the mines in Leg 8.
