The Luzhkov bridge (the official name – Tretjakovskiy) in Moscow is a pedestrian walkway that spans the Vodootvodny Canal. Dotting the bridge are iron trees cloaked in padlocks bestowed by newlyweds. It has become a Moscovite wedding tradition to clasp a padlock inscribed with ones wedding date and initials onto these trees thereby symbolically locking their union with the toss of the key into the canal below.
Thanks to yykris,A cluebox spotted in MoscowNever really looked into this :(

A girl found a young M/F team doing a task about unlock(pretty look like RB in Xi'An leg,S6)...and later she saw a middle-aged M/M team arriving
The only famous place in Moscow where this could take place is a bridge on the Vodootvodny Canal
These 'iron trees' are layered with love padlocks, just like the location in TAR6 in Xi'an
Here's a photo of one of the trees in Moscow http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Moscow-love-padlocks.jpg
^ Notice the tiles formation in the above link is the same as in the photo of the spotted clue box, but that could just be a coincidence...
Now this could be the DUMBEST theory ever, but listen up.
weihen told us that the source said it looked like the TAR6 RB in Xi’an but it was in Moscow, Russia
This could be just me, but I think that is definitely one of the most infamous Roadblocks in TAR history.
My point is, do you think it’s possible that the ‘infamous switchback in the Netherlands’ could be a dodgy CBS misprint and is supposed to be ‘infamous switchback in Russia’?
Also, the press release did not say whether this switchback Roadblock previously took place in the Netherlands last time it appeared CMIIW
So it could be an RB from any country but it’s re-appearing in the Netherlands
IDK, just putting this out there because I don’t think any of the RBs we’ve had in the Netherlands are infamous nor memorable, except TAR12’s, I remember watching that :lol3:
Beat ya to it Chateau ;)
The next one out is LH 1444 to DME at 7:35 am on June 8th.

RACERS TRAVEL TO MOSCOW, RUSSIA, WHERE THEY FIND THEMSELVES IN DEEP WATER STRUGGLING TO STAY IN SYNC DURING A CHALLENGE, ON “THE AMAZING RACE,” SUNDAY, NOV. 11
CHEAT TWEET: Teams are sculling to stay afloat. Could a costly mistake jeopardize the Race for 1 team? 11/11 8/7c http://bit.ly/SIRYby
“Off to See the Wizard” – Teams race to Moscow, Russia, where they find themselves in during a challenge. Meanwhile, one team makes a costly mistake that threatens their spot in the Race, on THE AMAZING RACE, Sunday, Nov. 11 (8:00 – 9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Emmy Award nominee Phil Keoghan is the host.
All text in bold match the synchronized swimming in deep watery swimming pools. Nice eye!
But what is the fishy meaning of the title quote, "to see the wizard"? Could it be a Quidditch or drinking a strange elixir task?
The flight that they missed was SU 2305 to SVO which left at 10:35 pm on June 7th.

Can't tell which James and which Abba.. But one of them is holding a Roadblock clue...So padlocking task is probably a roadblock... :duno:

Perhaps Phil is the wizard? Maybe a team got a clue to the pit stop and then said the quote.
Looking forward for episode.7 new promo tonite :hrt:
This shot was taken atop the Гостиница "Балчуг - Кемпински" (Hotel Baltchug Kempinski) looking across the river to the Kremlin.
If you watch the last part, it clearly says "You got your passport?" and one of the rockers (I think James) say "I do not".
So they lose their passport also this time.
What is it with Moscow and losing passports. :duno:

I kinda think they are not taking their backpack with them, and leave it in the taxi, but then, the Taxi run off or not waiting there while James and Abba doing the task, so they kinda looking where is our taxi? and make sure that the passport is with them (maybe in the fanny pack) but it's not... if this is true, then it's a disaster... :duno:
and can anyone recognize this street view?
maybe looking at the store beside the racers...

I have to add onto wild guesses too,
Total speculation, but:
A. The rockers do lose their passports and bags and Ryan & Abbie and Josh & Brent fall way behind, correct? My guess is that the rockers somehow finish the leg before Ryan & Abbie and Josh & Brent, but are unable to keep going since they have no passports, such as the same scenario Zev & Justin faced in TAR 15, then saying that they are unsuccessful in finding their belongings, Ryan & Abbie and Josh & Brent have a chance at catching up.
B. The rockers do lose their passports and bags and Ryan & Abbie and Josh & Brent miss their flight, but somehow with a miracle get a flight out and back on track, allowing them to surpass the stranded rockers. Seems unlikely, but anything can happen.
Apologies if I have any false facts on here! :-[

or C. The rockers find their passports in time to finish the leg before Abbie and Ryan and Josh and Brent, but is a NEL/TBC. Then the rockers somehow get eliminated on Leg 8.
CBS released some photos for Leg 7. I noticed something in this one particular.
Looks like we have a detour for sure.

Interesting hypothesis, but I think I see a D on the clue.
Does anyone know when Natalie & Nadiya are going to use their Express Pass? I'm thinking it might be on the switchback or on this leg's Detour.

The switchback is believed to be on Leg 9, so the twins cant use it then. One fact about it is official: if they use it, they use it in Russia.
What I am understanding the rest of the race goes like this?
F3 - Chips, Trey and lexi, josh and brent (we don't know the final order yet?)
4th - Twinies
5th - abbie and ryan
6th - abba and james
is this correct?
and we know this week is a NEL so that means abba and james don't have to come last on sunday
does anyone have an idea who ends up in first and who ends up in last?

Wonder if the Wizard is Grigori Yefimovich Rasputin. :o :o :o :oim still thinking this quote refers to phil and its said by the chippies
I am reviewing caps...
From the PREVIEW:
I think this means that the Beekman's may actually get on the last flight...and that Ryan and Abbie...do not. :'(
When did they say the OFF TO SEE THE WIZARD title qoutation. ANYONE Can answer.
the weather was wet and gloomy.
Just watched the episode............
I on the other hand, felt that this leg was the worst episode in a really good season!
Firstly, teams were all spread out onto different flights. Then the staggering timing made the whole leg seemed so mediocre. The library task was boring, the tree of love task was lame, the weather was wet and gloomy. Oh... Russia, why didn't you deliver like Siberia in TAR 14?

And there wasn't even any competition/fiery attitude among the first 4 teams, who......... obviously knew they were in the lead and took their own time. It was just a yawning fest through.
Doesn't help that Abbie and Ryan and Josh and Brent to run the entire leg together.
BUT, it showed a different side of Abbie and Ryan which I love. Such a gracious team. I know Trey and Lexi is a nice team but I know why are Abbie and Ryan behaving so defensively because the Sri Lankan sisters were targetting them...
Nvm.. boring next.. NEXT.
It's obvious the Rockers are so going to get eliminated, BTW.
would have loved that the lock challenge be a bit more like the TAR6 one
would have loved that the lock challenge be a bit more like the TAR6 one
The tasks in general are easier nowadays sadly.
I still think Abi and Ryan waiting at the detour was as foolish as the teams telling others where the abacus woman was in the first leg.
