Thanks for the 11/25 photos, PUDDIN. It is pretty clear that Rob/Amber and Dustin/Kandice and Danielle/Eric are not on King George Island! It must be Punta Arenas and in back of Danielle and Eric how about the Strait of Magellan? In conjunction with the timing issues and the statements from van Munster on TV Gudie Channel last night, I have now returned to my original position that there will be no Antarctica on AR11. It apparently was too expensive and pointless except for the opportunity to claim one extra continent visited.
GEORGIAPEACH, I think you are forcing your thinking too narrowly into what you want the answer to be. Look at the accumulated evidence and see what conclusions are likely. I think you will decide that pit stop #3 is in PUNTA ARENAS, probably starting the evening of Nov. 25. The teams then go to USHUAIA and not King George Island or Antarctica. I expect them to leave USHUAIA on the 936pm flight out on Nov. 28.
What are the likely transportation options? I have been scouring the Internet and I have found some more that are interesting. There is a second bus company in Puntas Areans which has connecting service to USHUAIA on the 4 days that were not serviced by Pacheco Bus Company. This service leaves at 830am instead of 730am and probably takes at least the 12 hours of the direct bus. Also, in addition to the LAN flights on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday from PUNTA ARENAS to USHUAIA, I have discovered that DAP "In summer, it flies Twin Otters to Ushuaia Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only (US$100). It also has extensive charter services. " That could be the answer on how teams get there relatively fast since as has been clarified for me Nov. 26 was a Sunday when no regular flights are scheduled and the teams must get to USHUAIA to be sighted that afternoon.
What would one see and do in and around PUNTAS ARENAS? The most interesting thing is too far away, the Parque Nacional Torres del Paine 250 miles north. Although Punta Arenas is a mid-sized city at 120,000 inhabitants, it does not have a wealth of top-notch tourist attractions nearby. The best to me is visiting the penguin colony at Magdalena Island 25 km away in the Strait of Magellan. I'll bet that van Munster/Doganieri found something to do in Punta Arenas, maybe an eating challenge.
You are right--this does look like Punta Arenas--and here is some park-like place too...(http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/TAR11/punta2.jpg)

NOTICE THE TREES
and there is a Jockey Club
How long would it take by BOAT from Punta to Ushuaia? Too long, right?
Darn, can't even say they crossed the Strait of Magellan...
Ah, GEORGIAPEACH, you answered your own questions correctly each time. It's hardly necessary for me to point out:
1. That it would take approximately 1.5 days for a boat travelling at 20 mph to get from PUNTA ARENAS to USHUAIA via the most direct routing.
2. That you go down the Strait of Magellan until you diverge into one of several different channels to continue south, then west, then southeast, then east, then north toward USHUAIA. You never cross the Strait to the other side.
My turn for questions...What is this thing (http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/TAR11/00022-6-2007-1.jpg) a stargate? ;D More bent trees? If I'm looking at it wrong, I apologize; but if it's a unique structure it shouldn't be hard to find.
*Stargate**  I love it! MAybe it will transport Rob!
I found some trees just like it in the plaza in Punta--but it is on webshots and my computer won't open it--some kind of wbz file? If you can tell me how to open it, I'll bring it over...

It's a wide angle shot so it looks distorted. The walkway that the Barbies are on is directly behind the statue in this shot.
Since this shot has D&K running alone and we have another shot at the same location with them right next to Romber I think that this is the location of an Intersection where teams have to pair up and work together.
The zodiac shot has the Chas paired with Eric and Daniel.
Very Nice, Chateau!
If that isn't an Intersection--I think that would be a very interesting two teams to join forces--I would have thought they would be in conflict from the first go! :meow:
They seem to be sharing a map...
So where are they going? They better have a really good task here to make up to me about no Antarctica!!
Well, OK. I was kind of doubting P.A., but I'll throw in the towel. Compare the signs to the facade of the Hotel Plaza (http://www.hotelplaza.cl/index-in.html).

THINGS TO DO IN PUNTA ARENAS:So the statue is to Magellan--don't forget to rub his toes!QuoteCENTER CITY
Around the Plaza de Armas are government buildings; the Club de la Union (Union Club); and mansions with turrets, beautiful roofs, glassed-in sunrooms and well-kept gardens with huge "araucaria" trees (slow-growing native trees revered by the indigenous people of the region).
The plaza itself is full of huge, old trees, and in the center is the Monumento a Hernando de Magallanes (Monument to Ferdinand Magellan). Note that the toes of one of the bronze indians is polished and shiny. Local legend states that everyone who touches these toes will return to Punta Arenas someday, making the statue a favorite with tourists and locals alike.
The panoramic views are taken from the Mount of the Cross:QuoteMOUNT OF THE CROSS
There is a wonderful panoramic view from the top of this hill of the entire city, with its red, blue and yellow roofs and streets sloping toward the Strait. On the horizon Tierra del Fuego can be seen, as well as Monte Sarmiento (Sarmiento Mount) and the southern part of the Brunswick Peninsula. The wrecks of old sailing ships that have remained where they ran aground also can be seen in the distance.
To see the other side of the city, go to the northern peak of Cerro de la Cruz. Follow Señoret street to Colón avenue, turn left and walk uphill for two blocks on this cobblestoned street dating from colonial times. This peak offers a different view of the area - the city's industrial section, the Barrio Hortícola (Horticulture Neighborhood), the Zona Franca (Duty Free Zone), and a lake used for ice skating to the left. Eight kilometers in the distance are the ski slopes of Cerro Mirador (Lookout Mountain), lines of open clearings slashing through the forested slope of the hill.
About the Cemetery--QuoteTHE CEMETERY
This cemetery is interesting because of the huge mausoleums built years ago by the area's wealthy families. José Menéndez, an important pioneering businessman, has one of the most imposing mausoleums. It is a smaller copy of the Victor Manuel monument in Rome. The cemetery also contains a memorial to the fallen indigenous people of the region.
Some forts--QuoteFORT BULNES AND PORT FAMINE
Both of these sites are located approximately 60 Kms. south of Punta Arenas. They are interesting primarily for their historical significance. Puerto del Hambre was an early Spanish settlement along the Strait of Magellan, and Fuerte Bulnes established Chilean authority over the region. To reach these sites, travel south on Route 9. The road winds along the edge of the Strait, and along the way can be seen the remains of shipwrecked boats
And my favorite--two places to see penguins--one where you walk among them!QuoteOTWAY INLET
The penguin colony is located 65 kilometers north of Punta Arenas on Seno Otway (Otway Inlet), along the northwest of the Brunswick Peninsula. The Magellanic Penguins return annually to this spot between October and March to lay eggs and raise their young. At the site, you will walk approximately two kilometers to the middle of a natural reserve filled with penguin burrows to see the comic antics of these delightful and defenseless creatures at close range.QuoteMAGDALENA ISLAND
This island and its neighboring islet Marta is home to tens of thousands of Magellanic Penguins, cormorants, other birds and sea lions. Both islands make up the Monumento Natural Los Pingüinos (The Penguins Natural Monument), located 25 nautical miles north of Punta Arenas. The estimated population of the penguins on these two islands is more than 50,000 penguin pairs.
The boat trip to Isla Madgdalena offers contrasting views to the west and east of the Strait. On the west coast can be seen the Tres Puentes area, the village of Río Seco and other small settlements along the shore. Industrial centers and oil production centers can be seen in the distance, such as Bahia Laredo and Cabo Negro. Toward the east, the coast of Tierra del Fuego looms flat and long. In front of Isla Magdalena can be seen the deep Bahía Gente Grande (Large People Bay), a name that was given to this bay by Pedro Sarmiento de Gamboa four centuries ago because of the tall stature of the indigenous Ona tribe.
GEORGIAPEACH, I am following up on your THINGS TO DO IN PUNTA ARENAS. I previously suggested that Magdalena Island was the only really good thing to do in the vicinity of PUNTA ARENAS. I have discovered another one. The southernmost point of the South American land mass, excluding the islands of Tierra del Fuego, Cape Horn and all of the smaller ones, is at Capo Froward just south of PUNTA ARENAS. It is where the Strait of Magellan makes a turn to the northwest before continuing on into the Pacific Ocean about 200 miles further.

All I noticed so far is that Mirna is making Charla carry the lumber. :lol3:lol ..in Charlas other hand she is carrying more stuff ..and Mirna as well
QuoteFishing poles
I think so too...but I remember some fishing pole thing in Africa that had a net attached--I think this looks vey similar.
Yes to the Cotapaxi.
I have no idea what Charla is carrying! :lol:She also has a shiny little can --tools? paint? But I have seen homes just like that in my searches this week--maybe Ushuaia? Punta? Darn--can't remember!
Landscape where the flat tire is looks like the flat part of Porvenir...
What did we decide about the view of Drew? I have no memory of this on the first race--did they do a jump? I of course remember the famous bungee but without checking the recaps--I'm thinking maybe this is new? Oh boy, I can't wait!
I'm thinking maybe PA for the map task (same place as the telephone poles, right?) There's a magellan statue in the town square, and the map looks similar to the Mercator-Hondius map (http://www.loc.gov/wiseguide/dec02/maps.html).
ok I need a break for real life stuff but will try to get most of the pictures over here ..groans :groan:
OK, I'll try again. Compare the funny-looking roof next to Eric's shoulder with this shot from GE (Panoramio). Cerro de la Cruz:

Absolutely Chateau..thank you. They appear to be looking at a clue, it appears that Eric has a map, and they are focused. :wohoo: Someone wondered what the green was in an earlier thumbnail. We now know that it is half of Eric's green jogging suit.

Sorta looks like a compass, only it's too large. Is Rob holding a ring too?Maybe TPTB made them some good props Slowhatch? they do look like compass's and Rob is holding a gold something.

Unless its a double leg or TBC and they go out in the fifth episode? :james:
Me? a detective? naw...I'm the just the local Village Idiot :keeta: I don't know how or why they get eliminated all I know is that I hate that I am a Romber fan and thier fate is near :holdbreath: :crybabe:

Don't get mad.. But are you a TAR Detective?
So theres 5 episodes in South America...3 in the same area??? WTF? Why would they do that...I thought 4 was excessive.

Hey--just noticed! When did we get a title? :lol:I liked Chateau's title better. :lol3:
I think I liked Chateau's better!
I'm not talking about Atacama...
I'm saying this upcoming episode 3 which is in Southern Chile no? Same with episode 4? and episode 5 is supposed to be in Ushaiua (sp?) Argentina which is still geographically pretty close to where episode 4 should be.
Puddin... you know I am a ROMBER fan too...sorry not able to post more lately to help you support them! It's Ok Wendy..I'll take one for the team !!

Ushuaia before PA? Interesting. ???Could it be PA with the Pitstop in Ushuaia ? The photo dates have been 100% correct so far as in 11/25 PA.
I doubt its a TBC leg because the "ending we wont want to miss" thing probably is talking about Rob and Amber getting eliminated.I know..*pouts*! The curse of Shmirna strikes again :meow:! Must be what Kevin & Drew mentioned on the Finish-Line.
fwiw according to kevin there is going to be a bigger blow up by charla and mirna in a couple weeks. i wonder if it leads to a certain teams elimination
Slowhatch--why do you think Ushuaia came first??Hell they showed us the Pitstop and that is rare :jam:
I definitely saw an Argentina flag waving there at the end, so I was just glad to see we get Puntas and Ushuaia--did I miss something?
I would think this has to be some kind of NEL/TBC/"marked for elimination" or best of all--(close your eyes puddin) Romber get yielded!
Boy--not too many clues in that promo, are there? TPTB are getting stingy!
Wow puddin! Cool photo thingy!LOL! I don't know everything
But ummm....HOW do we make it stop?? :rotf:
Are you definitely saying Ushuaia first, Slowhatch?Nope. PA and Ushuaia are a lot to put in one episode, but Puddin's right it's definitely doable. When the web promo arrives we might know for sure.

Okay--whew! They all have to go rub Magellan's toe in the Plaza, you know!
And remember they are there until 11/28--that's a lot of time. I still think we are looking at some kind of continued episode, and Romber will survive for one more week.
Now if we're getting the zodiacs already next week (that was on 11/26)---then there is still something special that we don't know about for those two other days--maybe just enough time to squeeze in Antarctica! :badhorse:
Either that or they have a 60 hour pitstop...
And now I'm really thinking chartered flight from Puntas to Ushuaia--time seems to be moving PDQ!
and i bet the tbc is april1 because of the 2 hour episode if there is oneTrue that Kogs. Peach heres my photobucket (http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/TAR11/EP4/) , sorry about that.
The surprise promised in the episode 4 preview is almost certainly the elimination of Rob and Amber. Nothing else would be suitably monumental and it does fit the boot list perfectly. Episode 4 is highly probable to be elimination based on everything we know. The interesting question that remains open is how the teams get from Punta Arenas to Tierra del Fuego National Park near Ushuaia. there a re few options and they have been reviews previously in the SPOILER thread. Summarizing, no scheduled flights exist on Sunday 11/26, by water is too slow, and that leaves ferry to Porvenir and then either bus or U-drove car from there to the park, an 8 to 9 hour drive.
freebie!!False alarm! they snuck a TAR7 clip in there (http://video.cgi.cbs.com/vplayer3/play.pl?type=rm&width=480&height=360&feat=vplayer&adtype=pre&arena=video&prod=innertube&id=131275&ord=67784.76657542118) :-[

Puddin,
Did you capture that? I saw it and thought it had to do with when they were one before and didn't watch it. It's not on now and I went back to my History to try and find it and couldn't.
Thanks for the pictures Slowhatch, Boingo & Chateau :luvya:
There are some steps leading down from some kind of tower (maybe Lapataia, but not necessarily); you can see Uchenna holding a red card running down what looks like the same steps.A "Find the Argentine Flag" roadblock, perhaps? It might be like the TAR 5 - 12 task (Philippines), or the TAR 6 - 11 roadblock (Sri Lanka).

Weblues:
**Confusion at the detour puts one team's race chances in peril when a long standing rival overtakes them. Will they recover in time to stay in contention?

**After reluctantly agreeing to work together with another team, treachery ensues and one team makes a critical error.
Didn't they have a FF/Intersection in the same ep last year? The cow lips? The teams that were working together got the fast forward together.
From Bahía Ensenada, near the southeastern edge of the park, there are boat excursions to Isla Redonda (US$14 pp) from 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
With this preview (thanks puddin!), I'm guessing that there might be no Intersection. Two Detour tasks are shown: one is making a mileage post that points to places around the world and the teams should be right in whether the places are to the east or west of where they were. The other detour is with a compass, could be like the TAR 7 London episode detour (Sherlock scavenger hunt). And just a guess on the name of the Detour (but maybe Intersection) choices: East-West or North-South. :lol:hakushu, read page one of this thread..it looks like the mileage posts and compass's are connected in some way and I'm not so sure there is an intersection just yet either.

What I get from the clues:
**Charla and Mirna, and Rob and Amber, have to work together, possibly at an intersection, and are at the back of the pack.
**It comes down to R/A and C/M with the elimination, but Rombre stuffs up at the detour and Schmirna overtakes them :hearts:
**Romber is eliminateddd :groan:
I don't see R/A working with C/M at an intersection, because then what would the pictures of them working with D/K be from?I think its Bill that puts Joe down :nods: and i don't think theres an intersection ..I just think Shmirna & Romber get stuck or lost and get forced to work together to get out of the situation and Shmirna beats them in a race to the pitstop somehow after Romber make a critical mistake.
Hmm..I can see D/K being the team that has a meltdown due to one member putting the other down. I hope it's not them though!

Wow this is even worse than Lyn and Karlyn beating the Beauty Queens. The Least deserving team taking out the most deserving team!
Question: How is it that when teams like Danielle and Dani, and Lyn and Karlyn place bad they bad terrible racers ect ect but when Chlara and Mirna just do terrible they are still seen as good racers. Mind you after the first three legs the Double Dees actually place better than CM [9, 8, 6], and Lyn and Karlyn have the same average as CM [9, 9, 6]. At least LK, and DD for the first three legs got along with most of the other teams, Chalra and Mirna get along with, noone? Kind of hypocritical by some of you viewers.
Actually.. being passed by a long-standing rivalry could infact mean that..
Uchenna and Joyce pass Rob and Amber in the detour, leading to Rombers elimination.. ouch. :rotf:

Now that would be funny....
But I would also like to see Eric & Danielle in a race with them after Rob's comments that him and Amber could beat them in a race.
It is a place almost untouched by human hand. There are two trails, each about 20 minutes in duration that you can walk at your own pace. Remember, protecting the environment is the top priority. It is best if our presence is unnoted and we leave nothing but footprints and take only photos.Maybe there are penalties if a team leaves the trail. It makes you suspect that the ferry landing (see below) is an "amazing" sign just there for the racers. Strange that they would take the longer route out of Lapataia rather than the short trip out of Puerto Guarani (Bahia Ensenada).
A few points about Isla Redonda:I think you have it Slowhatch :waves:
- This page (http://www.patagonia-argentina.com/i/tierradelfuego/ushuaia/parque.htm) notes that the island is a nature preserve and tourism is limited

Strange that they would take the longer route out of Lapataia rather than the short trip out of Puerto Guarani (Bahia Ensenada).- This page (http://www.empa.ch/gaw/gawsis/reports.asp?StationID=40) describes a weather station with a 12-m tower on the island.
- This page (http://www.polarphilately.com/pposouth.html) has pictures of polar post offices, including Isla Redonda (it's not the "southernmost" p.o. in the world, but...OK ;D). The Guidos photo is probably just a different viewpoint (I don't recognize that thing in the background).
Isla Redonda
Isla Redonda means the Round Island. This small island is located in the heart of the Beagle Channel, in front of the Tierra del Fuego National Park. After arriving at Bahia Ensenada, you board a small boat that takes us to the island. Here you find a small base for the Prefectura acional (Coast Guard), and the Worlds End Post Office! The island is surrounded by deep walls that go to 27 meters (88 feet.) There is a dense kelp forest with the typical channel fauna and sometimes sealions will come and join you, curious about what you are doing.
This page describes a weather station with a 12-m tower on the island.Possibly the structure that Uchenna/Joyce and Joe/Bill came down from, in what could be the possible Roadblock (or the leg's final task) of finding the Pit Stop.
Possibly the structure that Uchenna/Joyce and Joe/Bill came down from, in what could be the possible Roadblock (or the leg's final task) of finding the Pit Stop. That makes sense. Caps from the dock show Mirna carrying a route info card, but the card the Guidos open at the p.o. is a Roadblock card (it looks red, anyway). Early guess: the greeter is a park ranger (although technically Redonda isn't a part of the park) or the "postmaster."
Some clues on "End of the World" in the web clues:
It refers to Patagonia, Argentina
Particularly Isla de Los Estados, there is actually a lighthouse called Faro del fin del mundo ("Lighthouse at the end of the world"), is said to have inspired Jules Verne for his book The Lighthouse at the End of the World.
And Thanks to everybody!

A few points about Isla Redonda:
- This page (http://www.patagonia-argentina.com/i/tierradelfuego/ushuaia/parque.htm) notes that the island is a nature preserve and tourism is limited
QuoteIt is a place almost untouched by human hand. There are two trails, each about 20 minutes in duration that you can walk at your own pace. Remember, protecting the environment is the top priority. Rob: I'm not even close to my prime..
VO: new Amazing Race All-Stars...
Just finished replaying Ep 3. During the Metri task, Eric told Danielle (more than once) to "stop being a baby." So I'll guess the title comes from E/D.
**Another team reaches meltdown point when one member feels put upon by another.does refer to Danielle--it is time she put Eric in his place. While I'm sure that Eric may be frustrated at not having quite as strong of a partner as Jeremy was--Danielle did a very good job at overcoming what was an obvious fear of fish () and Eric needs to be more encouraging towards her. Compared to how badly she raced last time, she is doing much better this time around and deserves some respect from Eric. But I'm afraid that we may see more of this kind of behavior from Eric, as his track record of respect towards women is --shall we say--just a little lacking!

So do we know who wins this leg ? I haven't seen any pics or vids showing anything. There are no pictures, how dare they! lol !! I'll guess The Cha's or Eric & Dee?
puddin--you have done SUCH a nice job of organizing all this--but are the previews all together somewhere? I have the sinking feeling I've missed one!Back one page (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,11520.msg178286.html#msg178286) peach ..still waiting on Phils preview to help piece the pictures together but that won't be untill Thursday :umn: . I guessed at what went where for now.
(Taxi? I didn't see no stinkin' taxi!)
EP4 Preview
Cape Verde, Spice Islands, Canary Islands, Philippines, Cape of GH, Celebes...It looks like a Magellan-specific task.your
I'm thinking maybe PA for the map task (same place as the telephone poles, right?) There's a magellan statue in the town square, and the map looks similar to the Mercator-Hondius map (http://www.loc.gov/wiseguide/dec02/maps.html).

Southern Living photosI am thinking of the magazine but what does it mean here? (sorry--I'm probably missing something obvious...)
so are they pulling numbers to take a boat the the island with the pitstop???They have to do the roadblock first Mike on that island where the pitstop is ..whatever it is?
Peach, that is no doubt the spot!
Here is a way that teams can get from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia by 10 am on the 26th.
And here is a stab at the timing.
There is a lot of spare time in Ushuaia. I am sure they tried, but failed to get to Antarctica. The weather looks like it sucked. No sunshine.
so if dustin and kandice dont make it onto the 2 00 flight how does dustin manage to pull off the fourth number?!

Did u notice that the boats leave every 20 min??? It says on the sign.so are they pulling numbers to take a boat the the island with the pitstop???so if dustin and kandice dont make it onto the 2 00 flight how does dustin manage to pull off the fourth number?!
You had it right the first time MikeD19!
Dustin is pulling the number for the ferry to Isla Redonda--looks like there is only room for two teams per ferry.
I think the 2PM flight they are talking about refers to flights from Punta Arenas to Ushuaia (Ushuaia=Tierra del Fuego=Isla Redonda)
And we still don't know for sure whether or not that flight will have to be a charter one, but it is possible since there are limited scheduled flights that day.
Great job on the new finds, everyone! :yess:
Just a thought, maybe the encircled box type thing below next to the mat is a spotlight, in case it gets really dark for the Roadblockers on the tower to see the flag?
Puddin can I use ur avatar?sure, its annoying me, lol help yourself (http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/Crash.gif)
I'm going with the theory (mentioned earlier) that they strayed from the designated pathway to the mat. See the green tag on a post next to where Charla tastes the earth. They are told they have to go back or maybe they are tagged with a time penalty.
And that's it for Romber.
This shot was taken on Isla Redonda looking directly south.
Seeing as Romber and Uchenna/Joycce were the first two teams to arrive in the last episode. but both fall to the back of the pack this episode.. is it possible that at the beginning of this leg they both have trouble finding something and work together, but go the wrong way, making them both fall behind drastically?
And is the roadblock before or after the detour? Because if the roadblock is after th detour, and is located at the other side of the boat ride.. it looks almost definite that the last three teams are C/M, U/J, and Romber.. I hope it is really close :meow:
I wonder if Eric will recognize the Italian flag this time. :lol:LOL!! :rotf:
It's the Roadblock. The boat dudes wear yellow to so might be like a employee or something ?
Hmmm, I guess this means the greeter can't be the Postmaster.
Hey Puddin! Will do but LOST is coming on! I'll be back Chateau :)
Can you get some more stills up. Esp the ones with shadows! I will be able to get some times later on.
Will do but LOST is coming on! I'll be back Chateau
Chateau--
I remain in awe of your left-brain! Tides--math specs--WOW!
But my right brain is saying:
Hey! The Cha's are in that boat too--why can't they be first?
Is the fall all misdirection? Could Charla be hurt?
We never saw it coming? Any other ideas besides Romber elimination? (Not that I don't think they are not out--just maybe something else too? In medicine, we call this 'looking for zebras'!)
And if they are all separated by 20 minutes, how the heck do we end up with a foot race to the finish? Are some teams' brains really more than 20 minutes slower?
Nice work Chateau!Alex reploes " That's THERAPIST, you twit" :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: :lol3: One of my all time favs!
Alex : " I'll pick #2 The-rapist" :waves:
.........will have to look closer for Teri & Ian on the docks ???
It sounds like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnCVnmmpCqs). ;DThats what I was looking for Slowhtach!! :jam:
It sounds like this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hnCVnmmpCqs). ;D
So Rob fails to complete the Roadblock as fast as Uchenna. Remember Rob couldn't eat the meat and Uchenna did.
Amber on the letter sorting would have saved this team. :jam:QuoteWill do but LOST is coming on! I'll be back Chateau
Works for me!
I just :groan: realized that there is no reason that they have to be paired in the boats.I always thought that was the scenario and thats why we can't find I/T on the docks ;D
So, farming for drama here, I bet Charla & Mirna are in the last boat all alone. Teri & Ian arrived at some earlier time and have already gone to Isla Redonda. There is only 20 min separating them from slow Rob. He chokes the letter sorting and Mirna gets it done first. Footrace. Or not. Just he knows they lost so they walk in a dilatory fashion, hand in hand, to the mat.
So the ferry pairs have to be one of these three:Yea, 20 min apart
Case 1 T&I picks #3
E&D + Chas
T&I + BQs
Guido + C&M
Romber + U&J
Case 2 T&I picks #5 or 6
E&D + Chas
Guido + BQs
C&M + T&I
Romber + U&J
Case 3 T&I picks #7 or 8
E&D + Chas
Guido + BQs
Romber + U&J
C&M + T&I
I suspect it is case 1 or 2 since we be fairly sure Romber is in the last boat.
Also, E&D are in the first boat every time. They are my pick the leg's winners.
I wonder if Eric will recognize the Italian flag this time. :lol:LOL!!!
Whats up dlwdmb :hearts: ?
I truly honestly cannot believe they are being eliminated this Sunday. What a shame. They were good racers.
It looks like D/O in that cap still have the giant PA street map with them; they must have done well and gotten an early connection/charter seats/etc.So Uchenna & Joyce either make the same flight, or not or mess up somewere on the way to Tierra del Fuego?
I'm reasonably certain that D/O alone, holding the map, is at PA. But my hunch is that D/O with Joyce is at PM (El Tepual airport); I haven't found any good photos of the inside, but note the sloping roof here (http://rides.webshots.com/photo/1309393952047881045wFKuOz?vhost=rides).Oh I see! the editing made me think they were together in the same airport in both those shots
Puddin,If I recall right only the winners appear on Regis but TAR7 Rob and Amber were on the show, not Uchenna & Joyce. For some reason I think Mary & David were on TAR10 but am not sure?
Have any of the other eliminated All Star teams been on Regis & Kelly? If not, sorry to say but that may be an indication for sure that it's Rob & Amber that are being eliminated. I checked the website, but not real close. At least last Monday a TAR All-Star team was not on.

Jim Belushi; the latest “Amazing Race: All-Stars” castoff.
Could the ROADBLOCK task take place at the Southern Most Postoffice DEL MUNDO (of the world) be that one team member must find a number of letters addressed to each of the countries represented by flags on the walls?
Or has someone already commented on this?
And her boot list is NEVER wrong
Look at what I received in the mail. It is a travel mag for RCI.
This picture was taken between 11:40 am and 12:12 pm (assumes November 26th)(http://s18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/TAR11/th_southern_living_1164755340_dsc02127.jpg) (http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b105/rawalsh/TAR11/southern_living_1164755340_dsc02127.jpg) Eric/Dee with the Cha's at the docks Bahia Lapataia , found by Slowhatch (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,8579.msg174572.html#msg174572) sharing a ride in a Zodiac.
What made the signpost task so hard? All you had to do was follow the red line and arrow on the map and write down the places in order as they appeared. And how could you misspell a name when it was printed right there in front of your nose?GMAN, I agree with you but on the FINISH LINE Rob claimed that the directions for the task were not as clear as Phil stated them on TV. He said that the directions given indicated that the direction of the signs were important (vs. Phil saying they weren't) and the spelling accuracy was not mentioned. It is instructive to note that with a basic knowledge of map reading a team could easily get the west or east pointing direction correct. Then the key was to gete the correct starting point, which Rob/Amber had but Uchenna/Joyce struggled with before eventually getting it right. Copying the place names one by one with correct spelling is a test of attention to detail, which is why Amber should have been doing that and not Rob. Dustin/Kandice appeared to be totally clueless on how the do the task correctly. My hat is off to Uchenna/Joyce, the only team to do this right, although it did cost them a place on the first charter flight versus the teams who had done the other DETOUR.
How much longer can Schmirna keep it up? They keep coming in next to last, but they are following the cardinal rule of TAR: Keep one team behind you!
Rob and Amber confirmed on TES this morning that Sequesterville was in Acapulco. They had three weeks there to sleep late, eat good food, and bask on the white sands of Acapulco Bay while the other racers were chasing rats, grabbing what sleep they can when the can, and grabbing food on the run. Not bad deal for the losers!
