Start line: Bethesda Fountain, Central Park, NY (Where TAR1 started)
Start line task: Teams must get in to row boats at the nearby Central Park lake and find the flag of the first country that teams will go to. When they find the correct flag teams can collcet their next clue from Phil and drive to the airport.
Twist: There are 2 flights both have spots for 6 teams each. One flight is departing from JFK airport and the other is departing form Newark Airport. Teams dont know the departure or the arival times but can chouse which airport to go to. The last 2 teams to arive at the airport without a spot on the flight are eliminated from the race.

100% agree with bcp. I always think in reality shows that all contestants should get to play for 1 (leg, week, round, etc.). I hate starting line eliminations.

Just another idea I'm throwing out there, a mix season, 6 new teams, 6 winners (but the really good ones, ala Dave and Rachel or nick and starr). If a past winner wins, the regular million. If a new team beats out a best team, 2 million. So Either way, someone is gonna walk away with 2 mil.I like it.

There are so many teams that are "superstar" worthy, I wouldn't even know where to start. If it was a bad cast and they have 24 seasons (assuming the next all stars is 25) of teams to choose from...I would throw a fit. :tantrum
I could make half of an allstars cast just based on these past 3 seasons. Whoever has the job of making the superstars is in for a treat. :lol: But I wouldn't have a problem with people back for a third time. Dustin and Kandice are definitely superstars in the amazing race world and you can't have a superstars edition without superstars!

I think its very, very unlikely that we'll see anyone beyond, say, Season 17, since only one team was picked. Brooke and Claire should definatly come back, and maybe we'll see Nat and Kat again. For season 19 I want NO ONE to come back, with the exception of Andy and Tommy and Jeremy and Sandy. Most likely though, we'll get stuck with Bill and Cathi and/or Amani and Marcus. Oh well. Season 20 has Mark and Bopper, who will come back without a question. Nary and Jamie might come back since they're one of the more memorable all female teams. I hope Joey and Danny come back since they totally got screwed at the fast forward, and Bretchek because...well...they're Bretchel. :lol: As of this current season, Jaymes and James might come back (I like them), along with those twinnie girls (don't like them). If Trey and Lexi don't win, I'd love to see them return.
In order for teams to return (in my opinion), they must 1) Be fairly popular and memorable, or at least stand out; no Mel and Mikes or Zev and Justins allowed 2) Have left due to a bad taxi or tough course or simply bad luck; people like Liz and Marie, Jill and Thomas, and Amy and Daniel should. People like Art and JJ, Caitlin and Brittany, or Bill and Cathi should not, y'all left fair and square. Oh, and dummies shouldn't come back either. Yeah, I'm, talking about YOU, clowns! 3) Have a good reason to return and really deserve the money; no millionares competing for more millions. That's what try to look for now in teams that should come back for all stars, and rather my own picky favorites (a flaw in the past that I have made).

I just hope that Season 22 is completely left out of the next All-Stars. I find each team more dull than the next. I can appreciate that a storyline is being built around Dave & Connor's perseverance, but apart from that, I get no strong feelings (good OR bad) from any of the teams...and THAT'S a bad thing for a reality competition show. I'm praying that the casting team doesn't just phone it in again for Season 23.

I would have to agree with Joab. There were so many likeable teams in Season 21 for different reasons in the Final 6.
I also agree with him on Dave & Connor. I don't know if it is much actually them or TAR giving us the forced fed cancer survivor story and broken achilles. It seemed that TAR liked them more than the superfans.

I'd say maybe 2 or 3 legs in each continent as a minimum/maximum and it would need to have 13 legs. An All Stars Race to me should be one of the longest and most challenging.

I'm sure they'd go back to 17 to pick a team as well!Many viewers like seeing new teams they can relate to get a chance to run the race instead of offering someone a second race of a lifetime. Absolutely NO hybrid teams ever again! I can deal with unlikeable teams winning, but I can't deal with those that fake their relationship, just to get into the race. It should always be this... if you want to race again, you race with your original teammate. If your original teammate can't race for whatever reason, then too bad!

I agree with everything you said here. It was sad seeing them go, but they weren't as memorable as the other teams since they weren't able to go that far... so sadly, I don't think they'll make it to the next returnee season, :pity even if I want them to be. :(

on Mark&Bopper case, I might have to rewatch season 20 but I just remember them making me feel bad about them, like "man, this is too hard for them, please go home, rest a bit, this is not for you". I do remember liking their supportive nature with one another and never giving up, but it was this awful feeling of "please, just stop, this is hard to watch". I love their story about one of them having a child with some kind of respiratory problem, maybe?, sorry I just don't have the best memory but it was something like that, and that being their reason to race, which is great, but overall this awful feeling is the one thing I got from them, especially the bollywood challenge...
I would love to root for them but is hard for me to root for someone who doesn't have a real chance, is like a false hope. Also the way they talk was a little hard to understand for me but that's a minor detail...

i still dont get it why Joey/Meghan should be invited back. All I remember about them is that they annoyed the hell out of me with their (Joey, mostly) fake and forced reactions to everything, and yep the delight of them being U-Turned twice.This, but seriously, the producers REALLY need more patience than a maturing blade of grass in order to get a successful all-stars season like TAR11. :( What I want is for them to not rush TAR all-star, returning seasons because that's what mainly kicked myself off of Survivor ever since Redemption Island. Bringing back too many people too much.

I wish TAR will make a season composed of teams that are 1st boots or early boots.
Maybe 11th-9th placers or if there is a fan favourite 8th. But they'd all have to be recent seasons because I doubt many casual watchers would remember a lot of the early boots.

Well if those so called "casual watchers" watch regular seasons and don't remember the teams on an Early Boot season, what is the difference for them? Although this a fantastic Idea, I have to agree with Stekay, I'd fear the casual watchers of the show wouldn't remember many of the early booted teams, like Rob & Sheila, and lose interest rather quickly. :groan:
If that is the case with CBS casting S24 before S23 has even started airing, it makes no sense! They should cast the teams they want from S19 - S22, and then leave space for 1 or 2 teams from S23, and by the time the 6th Leg or so has aired, they'll be able to see who the fan favourites are and hopefully cast them.. E.g. Brendon & Adam, Chester & Eprhaim or Kim & Nicky. All these teams deserve a 2nd chance.
And I really wouldn't want to see John & Jessica return, I understand the argument for why they should be brought back, not using the Express Pass and all, but there are SO many better teams that could be chosen over them.

TBH TAR 22's Bali Leg was really good. But I do agree it's overused. Can we add in no China, India and Japan as well.India will never be overused imo. Makes much more interesting legs
We need places like Maldives, Philippines (BORACAY, CEBU), THE MANY PARTS OF AUSTRALIA NOT VISITED (MELBOURNE, GOLD COAST, TASMANIA ETC) and places like Madagascar, Mongolia or exotic locations that has only been visited once.
If they are really have to go to China, they better be going to really scenic locations like Jiu Zhai Gou and not urban cities..
