Welcome to TARsday! :jumpy:
As always this is an open thread so all may comment on the show as it airs as well as update BUT we do ask that those that get to view it at an earlier time other than 8:00 pm East Time *Canada cough* to please not spoil the ending for the rest of us. We prefer to watch together. Anyone that spoils the ending or posts details before those said times will be banned for a month so be warned. The mob and mod's will get ugly!
eta: if PGA golf goes into overtime, times will be updated

i no this is kind of random but can anyone else picture amanda and kris being like kris and jon from amazing race 6?

You're not getting ANYTHING from me. :funny:

O.O
My show only starts after the Oscars here. :(

Well I know I won't get in any trouble hee-hee. Seeya all later. Can't wait to read all your posts...Be Good :hearts:

A bit. They both kept calm, and they both treated each other well if the little footage we did get. I certainly wouldn't mind. It never hurts to have a team or two that really treat each other well.

If golf goes over, it will be shuttled to Golf Channel. CBS will start primetime lineup on time.
-
It airs at 7:00 here, but it's an hour later than all you guys (apparently, since the discussion for ep 1 happened in the 6:00 hour). The plus side is there are no overruns, so my DVR recording is always safe!
-
The Northern Lights Open is down to its last hole, but there's a chance for a massive playoff. As it stands now, Phil Mickelson is in the lead by one with one to play. But if he bogeys and Fred Couples birdies, there's a chance for a three man playoff. However, as I mentioned upthread, CBS will shuttle this to the Golf Channel if there's a chance it will run over 7 p.m. ET.
-
I just switched over to the silly Oscar red carpet shows on E! and TV Guide channel. I know I'm a guy and I'm not supposed to get those shows, but who watches them? They're so annoying. Lisa Rinna (who I like) is yelling at people and not making any sense. No wonder the Taliban hates us!
15 minutes to TAR!

45 minutes into TAR - you won't believe what happens...

For the regular season, games that go into the 6 p.m. news window means the CBS Evening News or local news will be squeezed so it ends by 6:30 or 7 p.m. TAR will still be safe.
But all bets are off for the NCAA Tournament on March 22 and 29.

PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil: Eleven teams set out to race around the world. Falling behind early took its toll on Steve/Linda (arguing, crying). On a steep hillside, Luke took a spill but soldiered on with Mom for a tearful first leg victory. Jennifer struggled to keep up and Linda barely inched forward. But last place Christy/Jodi took hope and outsprinted Preston/Jennifer to the mat. At the end of the leg, all the teams hugged Margie/Luke and were impressed with their first place finish.
Voice: Margie is the bionic woman! Luke is extraordinarily observant!
Credits roll.

2:56 p.m. was the arrival time at the first pit stop.
Margie & Luke leave at 2:56 a.m. Allegedly.
:hearts: :hearts: Hello puddin, kogs, mswood.
Victor is being a big brotherly arrogant.
-
Mel says pat my groin....
-
Phil: These are the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. At the base, Schteckelberg, village which was the first pitstop. Mandatory rest period, yadda, yadda.
Margie/Luke, 2:56 am, CLUE: Fly to Munich, Germany.
Phil: Drive themsevles to Ruhpolding, take a cable car to the top of a mountain for next clue.
-
Mel says pat my groin....
Damn, that should have been the title....
-
Sistahs being competitive.
-
Steven sorry for how he treated Linda ......awwwwwww
-
Mel says pat my groin....
Damn, that should have been the title....
I was kidding
-
Everyone using cell phones to book tickets. Good move.

I was going to ask when did Mel say that?
-
Mel says pat my groin....

-
Tammy/Victor, 2:57 am.
They grab cabbie cell phone and try to make resrevations.
Mark/Michael, 2:59.
Mel/Mike, 3:18 am. Gaydad has a groin pull. Ouch!
Amanda/Kris, 3:47 am.
Brad/Victoria, 3:56
Jamie/Cara, 3:59
Kisha/Jen, 4:03.
MANY teams like the idea of borrowing cell phones.
Steve/Linda, 4:04.
Looks like 7:10 am departure is first.
Even Steve/Linda figure out how to borrow cell phones.
I feel an equalizer coming on ...
Blonde Air Hostesses leave 4:12.
Newbie's fired......
-
Some actual airport scenes!
-
Oh good, airport drama not so bad. :hfive: :hfive:
-
Mel says pat my groin....

I was kidding
Don't do that to me, I spit water all over the bed when I read it.....
WATER!? :ascared
Sorry but HUNG - OVER!
-
Most teams are getting the 7:10 departure.
Even Christie/Jodi make reservations for that flight from a cab.
Oops ... only 1 seat remains, in economy. NOT EQUALIZED!
Everybody's on the early 7:10 except ...
Stuntmidgets and Jodie/Christie get the 8:45.
-
Tammy/Victor first to arrive by car in Ruhpolding.
They get tickets to leave in 2 minutes for the ride uphill.
They've lucked out, as other teams have to wait for the next car, 15 minutes.
-
as Chateau predicted, Tammy & Victor are first to the top of the mountain
Phil tells us they can choose to hike due to wind conditions, a 60 minute hike
-
60 walk down the mountain in case it gets too windy.
Very windy and Tammy has to decide whether she wants to walk or fly. She chooses walk.
-
Tammy/Vic, ROADBLOCK: Who's ready to fly like an eagle?
Phil: Choose an instructor, paraglide off the mountain 6,000 feet below. Teammate waits below. Reunite for the next clue. If wind prevents, choose between waiting and taking a 60 minute walk/hike down the mountain.
Kisha/Jenn are lost driving.
-
A clue! A clue! We actually see a clue! :jumpy: :jumpy: :jumpy:
-
Victoria, second to walk down the mountain.
-
Tammy gets screwed over by the wind, and chooses between hiking downhill and waiting for the wind to die down.
Amanda/Kris arrive, along with the #3 and #4 teams. They're going to hike down rather than wait for the wind.
But Gaydad's groin won't withstand going downhill, so he'll await a wind change.
Christie/Jodi and Mark/Michael arrive at the airport and get in their cars.
Victoria chooses to wait for the wind to change.
We're treated to a detailed PBP of Steve and Linda's gondola ride up the hill, so they're probably going to get the boot.
-
Luke walks down and gets along with Jaime and Cara. Showmance?
-
Mel says pat my groin....
Damn, that should have been the title....
I was kidding
Don't do that to me, I spit water all over the bed when I read it.....
WATER!? :ascared
Sorry but HUNG - OVER!
Lucky you! :wine:
Cara gives up shes going to hike!
-
Mel looks down in his post-race confession. Are they the ones out in this episode?
-
More people run down the mountain leaving Mel behind.
-
Mel worried the far behinders are catching up ........
Mel prays for a wind change
Mark off and running as well as all but Mel
Mel is the only glider
-
Linda wants to take the paraglide.
Victoria changes her mind and goes dowhill on foot.
Luke signs that he likes Jamie/Cara.
Mel's groin is a problem, as other teams head downhill on foot. He's still there.
Linda changes her mind and starts running downhill.
Victoria, Margie, Kris hauling ass downhill.
Kisha/Jen arrive in 8th place.
Only the 2 late-fllight teams are behind them.
But Gaydad is getting nervous now, because Jamie/Cara take the ground route.
Dunno why, but I have a funny feeling the wind will die down.
-
thanks to those that have seen the show or know the results and not telling, we do appreciate it :waves:
-
Jodi tells Christie the wind will NOT stop and tries to convince her to run downhill.
The stuntmidgets give up on the wind and one of 'em runs downhill.
Kisha/Jen abandon the paraglide.
Now the only one on the hill, Gaydad is convinced he's lost the Race because of his groin.
COMMERCIAL.

Slumdog Millionaire won Best Picture!

thanks to those that have seen the show or know the results and not telling, we do appreciate it :waves:
Thank you! :jumpy: :jumpy:
-
Mel gets his miracle !
-
Mel is going to go paragliding.
-
Thanks to his paragliding, Mel is about to jump ahead a few places.
-
Victoria makes it down! :yess: :yess: :jam: :jam: :jam:
-
Linda makes the wrong turn. :groan: :groan: :groan: :groan:
-
Mel: I could stay up here all day........... if i had a sandwich
LOL
-
Alright Mel!!! He and Mike are in 5th.
-
Detour: Balancing Dolly or Austrian Folly.
Segways or cakes. But then again, we knew that.
-
Phil doing the detour option LOVEEEEE
-
Gaydad prays for divine intervention, kind-of, in a roundabout passive-aggressive way.
And there goes the wind. Down to a tolerable level!
The judge lets Mel take off.
Mel conf: It was a MIRACLE!
Mike: It was a freakin' miracle straight from God!
At the bottom, Tammy/Vic, CLUE: Drive yourselves to Shonau au Konigsee.
Phil: 25 miles to the next clue.
Mel takes off.
Marggie/Luke, 2nd, CLUE to Shonau au Konigsee. Amanda/Kris 3rd.
They both seek directions. Margie/Luke on a map; Amanda/Kris by locals.
Brad/Victoria leave in 4th.
As he descends, Mel takes in "the treat of a lifetime. The Alps all in fall colors, and green valleys sweeping in every direction."
Uh-oh ... Linda is lost, taking the wrong turn when the arrow points the other way. Oops!
The teams behind her follow the arrow at the fork in the road. Linda, forked the wrong way.
Mel lands.
Mel: They're all running (except me).
Steve: I can see us going back to last place real quick.
Tammy/Vic, CLUE: DETOUR.
Phil: Success depends on precision. Balancing dolly or Austrian folly.
Dolly: Ride Segway along a 2 mile course with obstacles. Must learn controls quickly.
Folly: Go into a party tent, throwing pies at the target, your partner's face. Pie with cherry filling gets the next CLUE.
-
Tammy & Victor are blowing through this.
-
"I've got cream in my eye! cake in my nose!"
Make their way to the woodcutters to get stamped wood! Thats what Cara was carrying in the Salzburg spoiler!
-
Tammy & Victor are blowing through this.
crazy huh? wohoooooooooooo!
-
Linda is miles off.
-
Tammy & Victor are blowing through this.
crazy huh?
Even though they're my Asian homies, I hope this is not a sign of things to come.
-
Linda worried that Steven is going to hate her .......she is sooooooooooooo losttttttttttttttt
-
Linda is miles off.
Hey at least she is on the right side of the continent. We've seen worse, oh so much worse.
-
Finishing DETOUR in 1st, Tammy/Vic now move on to Schloss Helbrunn.
Phil: Last team to check in here may be eliminated.
Mark runs his short legs down the hill. They leave the hill in 6th.
Jamie/Cara leave in 7th.
Linda hears traffic but can't find any route markers. She has a bad feeling.
Kisha/Jen laeve in 8th.
Linda runs to the highway.
Linda starts to turn around in circles.
Steve: If she makes a wrong turn it could be disastrous.
Linda starts to cry.
COMMERCIAL.
-
And disastrously so!
Linda is miles off.
Hey at least she is on the right side of the continent. We've seen worse, oh so much worse.
Indeed we have, mswood.

Linda getting a ride to the cable car!!!!!!!!!!! oh nooooooooooooooooooo
-
,,,,,,,,
-
Linda asks directions toward the cable cars. Does the woman even understand English?
Yes! And Linda takes a drive in the woman's car. Uh-oh, rules violation.
In Schloss Helbrunn ...
Man: Welcome to Salzburg, Austria.
Phil: Tammy/Victor, you're team #1. You've each won a hybrid go-kart.
They need a shower!
-
Sign is the title. Who could have seen that? :groan:

Time Penalty!!!!
-
Mike and Mel doing the Segways as predicted! what fun!
-
Kisha & Jen just cannot navigate.
-
With Tammy/Vic comfortably showering off their pie filling, Amanda/Kris reach the DETOUR in 2nd.
What a big difference in time!
Amanda/Kris make short work of the pies, though, and move on.
Linda gets dropped off and finds a route marker.
She finally makes it back to Steve.
Steve: We're not far behind! We're still in it!
Linda: Thanks for not being mad at me.
Steve conf: She's running against 20 year olds. I respect her for that! She's doing it for me!!
-
Margie's having fun at the cake throwing and so are Brad & Victoria
-
Gaydad/gaykid choose the Segway challenge.
Margie/Luke toss pies.
Love the seated dancing locals and accordion players!
The locals love the pie throwing, too.
Dad/Son make their way cross the obstacles and finish in 3rd.
Luke starts eating one of the pies, they've tossed about a dozen now.
Brad/Vic choose pie throwing.
Kisha/Jen drive in the wrong direction, giving a moment of drama to an otherwise certain Hickphilimination.
-
Cristie & Jodi get help to the cluebox from Kisha & Jen. That could be helpful in the end.
-
Jennifer, sisters getting frustrated with older sisters
Brad is a riot as he licks Vics head of cake! "tastes good too"
Sisters, brothers doing the Segways
Kris and Amanda ask directions to the castle, I wonder if that was our blogger!!
-
The order is killing me.
-
I like the "14 hours since race start" logo.
-
Margie and Luke throw another 8 or 10 pies, finally getting cherry filling. They leave in 4th. Brad/Vic leave in 5th.
Jamie/Cara choose to drive Segways, thinking it's like the mall cop movie.
Kisha/Jen make it to the DETOUR in 7th, midgets in 8th. Both choose Segways.
Blondes realize they're only ahead of one team, no surprise who.
Linda: Thanks for being so kind to me! You're still thinking about being mad at me?
Instead of going around the gated fence, or opening it, Mel/Mike try to climb the fence!
Finally someone opens the gate.
Phil: Mel/Mike, you're team #2. Amanda/Kris, team #3.
Phil: Margie/Luke, you're team #4. (Phil signs that, too!) Brad/Victoria, team #5.
-
Oh my goodness. Christie & Jodi are in trouble again.
-
Steve and Linda finally arrive at the detour, I don't think a penalty will even matter
Jodi & Christie off to get wood
omg they are looking through a wood pile ! and the horse ..........
Jodi and Christie cant find wood!!!!!!
Linda and Steven off to find the wood!
commercial HATE
-
Christie & Jodi and Linda & Steve for 9th spot. Why do I have feeling that Team Southwest is going to be out?
And wouldn't it be funny if Linda & Steve make it to the final 3 throwing us all off?
-
Phil: Jamie/Cara, you're team #6.
The blondes toss pies, finally get a clue to leave in the dark, as Steve/Linda arrive in the dark.
Steve/Linda see the blondes and take heart.
Steve and Linda will toss pies.
Linda: Hit me! Not so hard! Eeeeaaasssyyyy!
Blondes take their time making the woodchip to stamp, which means they think Steve and Linda are hopeless.
"We're not worried about them."
They still can't get their wood.
They just decide to cross the finish line, without the wood.
Uh-oh, a lightbulb finally goes off, and they realize "This could take all night. Crap!"
COMMERCIAL.
-
Jodi and Christie cant find wood!!!!!!
jesus i wonder how the had a wedding night
-
I like the "14 hours since race start" logo.
tick tock tick tock
Wow I can't beleive that Jodi and Christie even thought about leaving without the wood! How would they know where to go?

linda sounds like boomhower from king of the hill
-
Christie/Jodi bumble around as Steve/Linda arrive where the woodchips are stamped.
Meanwhile, the stuntmidgets and Kisha/Jen appear lost driving in the dark.
"Big sister" takes a moment to ask for directions at a gas station. "Little sister" gripes.
Blondes get directions, too, and finally get to the saw station.
They leave in their car and head for the pitstop.
Steve and Linda argue about which direction Salzburg is. Linda loses a pie-covered finger in the process.
Phil: Kisha/Jen, you're team #7.
Little sis conf: This is the most frustrating experience of my life. I can't listen to her anymore, without it being annoying.
Phil: Mark/Mike, team #8.
-
Phil: Christie/Jodi, you're team #9 and still in the Race.
Man: Welcome to Salzburg.
Phil: Steve/Linda, you're the last team to arrive. Sorry to tell you, you've both been elminated form the Race.
Linda starts to cry. Steve joins her. What a mess, with all the pie filling!
Steve conf: I couldn't imagine running the Race with anyone other than Linda. If anybody's got my back, she does.
Linda conf: The thing I love about Steve is how much he loves me. You could have a billion dollars and still not be happy. Having him makes me happy.
-
I just realized this (depending on when the two flights arrived) this is most likely the longest separation between teams without a huge flight problem or a massive Fast Forward.
Never mind I forgot it was 14 hours from the start of the leg.
-
Wow. Christie & Jodi barely survive again. Unbelievable.
-
Wow. Christie & Jodi barely survive again. Unbelievable.
Its Michael's fault. If he would have kept his mouth shut, they probably would have been 1st this week.
-
thanks everyone especially mswood for doing the recaps!
-
We have another lost passport? :groan:
-
We have another lost passport? :groan:
God Damn it, Dallas don't lose your passport.
-
Wait until you see next week's preview, mswood.
-
NEXT TIME ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:
Phil: When the Race heads to Romania, teams go for the gold in Gymnastics ...
Teams take to the mats and prepare for floor exercises.
Phil: Amanda/Kris make a potentially fatal mistake ...
Kris: All our stuff, our passports, money, everything was in there!!!1!1!
Phil: ... and Tammy struggles to be heard.
Vic, to Tammy: Your brain just froze!
Tammy conf: It's frustrating!
-
It would explain why a team that has for the most part done quite well, hasn't been seen later in the race.
Damn it.
-
I didn't like this episode to much...probably because I figured that Linda/Steve would get eliminated.
-
^ Shouldn't that be "Gingerbreast love"?
Just saying.

Sounds like that's why Amanda & Kris aren't seen beyond Salzburg -- they pull a Dallas! Not again! :groan:
As for blaming Michael for cursing Christie & Jodi -- could be a lot worse for me. He could have decided to root for Cara & Jamie -- and I'd be worried that they'd keep the all-female losing streak alive! I never thought Christie & Jodi would break the all-female losing streak, so having Michael curse them is no big loss for me.
Belle Book

Yeah now I kid about the women not ever winning (thats TARASIA took them how long?), but when it happens I hope the team races overall well. I know I dreaded a tea like BAMA wining (they so sucked). So far the blondes aren't impressive at all. The red heads have done ok.
-
In writing my recap, I find that money was indeed mentioned, $585 on this leg.
-
wow 585! I sucked at RFF Game this week for TAR 14
-
I missed it the first time, but it was indeed mentioned.
-
And our clue reads are still there! YAYAYA!
-
So maybe the lack of info about the first leg was production's way of not calling any attention to the Chiasso issue, because it seems the teams flying to Milan drew the short stick.
-
Not a bad episode, but nowhere near the level of last week's. And in many ways it did remind me of the german leg in Season 9 but with a better roadblock (thank god no gnomes so far).
-
It appears Margie & Luke and Jaime & Cara have a loose alliance. He did help them and they did reciprocate, but I don't think this is an official alliance. I'm early in my recap so I'll see if something is mentioned while they're on the mountain.
-
Luke really likes them!
-
Luke really likes them!
That was really sweet, especially when he wrote a note to them and told them good luck and kiss ass. It was an aww moment for me!

I'm really sorry to bother everyone, but I'm still new here. I love reading all your posts (can't participate in the real-time commenting because I'm on the west coast), and am usually able to follow the inside banter and allusions to other threads, but this one just confused me all to pieces. Would someone be kind enough to explain this one to an old lady?

Not a bad episode, but nowhere near the level of last week's. And in many ways it did remind me of the german leg in Season 9 but with a better roadblock (thank god no gnomes so far).
Do any of you experts know how much input the country or city had in what the show come up with for activities in their country? After reading another comment regarding, let me see, which country was it..... rats..... *hits head, trying to jar memory* yes! Romania? with the gypsies? anyway, the comments about playing into the stereotypes, and this one, with the special tent set up with "local color" for the pastry thing, and disappointment expressed about the last German episode... I was just wondering.

I thought this was a good episode. Not a great one, as it was clear about halfway through the episode who was toast, but still pretty good.
Tammy & Victor: They really owned the leg tonight. Hell, they reached the Pit Stop long before any of the other nine teams even reached the Detour! They're basically coming across to me like Nick & Starr with actual personalities and not saying the same damn things over and over again! But man, do their voices annoy. A lot.
Mel & Mike: I'd already seen the preview before the season starting of Mel paragliding, so I knew he'd make it through that Roadblock. I find Mike naturally funny, while I think Mel sometimes deliberately hams it up to look funny, when I think he can be naturally like Mike. Their attempt to get into the Pit Stop area was hilarious, though.
Amanda & Kris: Even though it certainly seems like both of them pull their weight, it definitely looks like the editors are trying to make Amanda out to be the less useful person, what with her already leaving the first two Roadblocks to Kris and not having done one yet. That's all I can really say for now, because otherwise, they sort of bore me, though I like them okay.
Margie & Luke: They fell out of first, but they still ran a decent enough leg. I liked the look on their faces when they came in fourth tonight. But please, editors. Don't keep pushing Luke's deafness storyline on us. Let that story arc tell itself.
Brad & Victoria: I have to admit. Victoria's impressed me two legs in a row. She's a gutsy woman! I like seeing her bond with Brad and kicking butt the way they do! They certainly seem very close and like pretty good racers so far, and I hope that continues. They're already reminding me of Bob & Joyce -- old couple who was gone too soon after running some fairly strong legs.
Jaime & Cara: Too bad more of them wasn't shown tonight. But they seemed competent enough at the tasks. Cara certainly kept her eyes out on the Roadblock, and that's really all we got to see of them. (Although a brief glimpse of them at the Balancing Dolly Detour was seen in their pre-season promo, and Cara wasn't doing so hot in it.) I still like them, though. They're actually my favorite of the three women's teams -- and all the teams, period -- and I hope they can jump up and do better on the next leg.
Kisha & Jen: Not much seen of them on this leg. But it looks like navigation is going to be their weakness. Jen would do well to stand up for herself against Kisha, though. Still, their two low finishes in a row, coupled with their navigation problems, has me thinking they'll be toast fairly early on.
Mark & Michael: Too bad they didn't think of making reservations for themselves on the first flight out of Zurich. They probably could've notched another high finish if they had. Probably. That said, they did well enough with everything else they were given, and I'm glad enough that they stayed in the race.
Christie & Jodi: I like them. But I didn't like their racing on this leg. Christie made a good choice to bail on the paragliding, but she should've moved faster. And both of them really shouldn't have taken the "hoof it" part of the next clue way too literally. Still, good to see them still in, especially considering who that meant would be ousted.
Steve & Linda: I usually want the older couples to last a while, but there's no doubt these two were weak from the beginning (mainly because of Linda) and had no place in the race. Linda really made things bad for them by getting lost in the Alps. Navigation made things worse for them. I felt bad for Steve, as he really seemed to want this a lot, but my happiness of knowing Linda's gone overshadows my sadness for Steve being gone.
Oh, and what I really liked about the Roadblock was that, in some ways, it was a Detour within a Roadblock -- get down the mountain by land or by air. Simply awesome.
The Detour? I'd have done Balancing Dolly. Like I'd have been able to anticipate the amount of time it'd take to find a cherry-filled cake or pie at Austrian Folly?

:welcome2: Hi, BantyMom. I'm sorry if I was unclear.
Money troubles, customs troubles, taxi troubles, etc.: the teams that flew into Milan were at a distinct disadvantage. And it was spotted by walkingpneumonia that the teams got on the train at Chiasso (first Swiss stop on the northbound route), not at Milan as the episode would have you believe. Now, it may be a simple webmonkey mistake. But I think (no clue peeks, no money counting) that they didn't want to advertise that parts of the leg weren't well planned.
(Why Chiasso? I don't know. I thought at first it might have been a rail strike: "scioperos" are very common in Italy. But I cant' find any mention of a strike for those dates.)
-
So maybe the lack of info about the first leg was production's way of not calling any attention to the Chiasso issue, because it seems the teams flying to Milan drew the short stick.
We also know from post elimination Interviews that the teams on the Milan flight did not have enough money at the end to pay their taxis, and indeed, that route has a more expensive train ticket and more expensive taxi runs, So they were slower, had less proportional $$, and had to beg at the end which hurt them time wise.
-
wow 585! I sucked at RFF Game this week for TAR 14
Me thinks that taxi rides from Stechelberg to Zurich are pretty expensive. Approx 200 kms.
-
about $500 we think...
-
No, Victor says it, $585. I'm doing the recap right now. He says it outright.
-
One thing they never addressed.... Linda riding in a private vehicle. Very frowned upon as we know. I guess since she and Steve were eliminated, the time penalty would have been moot, but we know this came into play with JeNate in TAR12 and Tom & Terry in TAR10.
-
I think peach means 500$ for the taxi ride which I would hope TPTB payed for btw!
-
I'm tired. Don't mind me. :P
-
Ken was up at 4AM? :ascared
Taxi was what I meant though...
Other than the gondola tickets they didn't have any other expenses for this leg that I could see, so they could afford the most expensive taxi ride! Gosh, they were a really boon to the local taxi guys,
-
Ken was up at 4AM? :ascared
Yes, I was just finishing my recap. No more waiting until three days later to finish. I could have finished an hour and a half earlier had I not been keeping an eye on the Oscars.

Austrian folly has to be the best needle in a haystack Detour ever

Schedules for that would be:

depart Chiasso 1533 arrive Locarno 1657
