According to the map on the Alasha site, (http://www.alasha.kz/images/contact4eng.gif)http://www.alasha.kz/index.php?opt=contact
it's at the corner of Ospanov and Dostyk, right before where Dostyk crosses the river.
On this map (mostly in Russian http://infokz.com/city/eng/empall.htm) you can see Dostyk Av (in Russian looks like AOcTblk!) crossing the river at the top right side, with a street leading off it, which might be Ospanov (not marked). Downtown is to the left with the Cathedral, Green Bazar and park at the left end of Dostyk.
If it helps with the searches, the rough address of the chicken farm is:
Первомайская Промзона (1st of May Street?)
Илийский район (Iliiskii district)
It's bringing up other businesses in the vicinity, but no location yet... :'(
QuoteI was looking for chickens and I got MigsMaybe I can help (a little) with both. This page (http://infokz.com/base/eng/view.php?id=4927&p=0) describes the Alel location asQuoteAlmaty region, Iliiskii district, Pervomaiskaya Promzona, Almaty ptitsefabrika. I found this company (http://www.burundaiavia.kz/?lan=en&id=93) that claims an airport in the same district. The wikimap is here (http://www.wikimapia.org/1912149/Burundai-Airport). There's an industrial area north of the airport that has possibilites; if someone could find Pervomaiskaya village that would help in finding the battery farm ("ptitsefabrika").
Nvm, it's here (http://travelingluck.com/Asia/Kazakhstan/Almaty/_1520208_Pervomayskiy.html#local_map). Now to look for chickens...
This page (http://kazakhstan.orexca.com/eagle_hunting_kazakhstan.shtml) states the Sunkar falcon farm is in the Alma-Arasan gorge south of the city; after doing a little translating ("Kennel hunting birds and dogs"), I'll make a guess and say it's here (http://www.wikimapia.org/3119658/ru/%D0%9F%D0%B8%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%BC%D0%BD%D0%B8%D0%BA).Sunkar" falcon farm excursion tour to the farm of hunting birds and dogs, located at the foothills of Zailiyskiy Alatau.
which can you believe I finally got the name, lit teacher is spinning in her grave
I am happy we have a 40,000 mileracer this time
Hooky, Maybe I have missed something about 6 Continents, but how did you conclude that for AR13? I don't know of anything that definitely says that and I consider inclusion of Africa in AR13 unlikely.I am happy we have a 40,000 mileracer this time
I'm hoping for something closer to 70,000 miles and six continents again. But I'm glad it's finally getting longer instead of shorter.
Season 12 just had a pathetic route and reducing the number of legs didn't help.

The cattle belong to Loren Poole, who owns a property just outside Te Puke. On his farm he grows all the ingredients for a great dinner party. Prime beef, kiwi fruit and flowers. Most of his flowers end up in Japanese floral arrangements but his kiwi fruit are exported around the world.
Loren Poole feeds his reject kiwi fruit to his cows. "It's good for their coats," he tells me as a large steer snatches a snack out of his hand.
