Recap

Nuku comes back from tribal and Varner knows he has to save his ass.
Talks with Zeke to form a bond

Nuku wins 10 pizzas at the reward; Mana is starving and Cirie has a pizza confessional

Sierra breaks down from hunger on Mana and everyone breaks down

On Nuku, Jeff pitches to Sarah to get rid of Ozzy

Nuku loses immunity

Open forum on who to kick off and Sarah suggests Ozzy

Zeke tells Varner he's done

Varner tells Sarah/Andrea that Zeke threw them UTB and suggest the possibility of Zeke and Ozzy working together

At tribal, all hell breaks loose. Varner was on the path to salvation until he threw Zeke under the bus by outing him as "trans"

Lots of tears/emotions from the other 6 but a lot of remorse by Varner later on

It was a cultural relative talk that promoted a lot of thought - watch it for yourself.

Varner is unanimously kicked of the tribe.

Next week: The merge and all hell breaks loose again as the fight for power continues. :haha

Varner lost it. IT was a great pitch until what he said to Zeke. He shouldn't have done that.

If anybody missed or want to re-watch the most insane tribal council ever in the history of Survivor, CBS posted the entire clip of it on you-tube and here it is....I'm still shell-shocked about this!

I love Survivor. I don't think I'm going to ever forget this special tribal. I think that's what makes Survivor so much more relatable for me more than Amazing Race now. I can travel the world, pay my own flights as an adult now, and I don't need Amazing Race to bring me any special experiences. The unique part of Survivor is that the jury stays together and votes for a winner, and only once in a while we have a bitter jury who cannot work together and come to a common logical consensus to give the more deserving winner the money. But The Amazing Race is different, you have people of different ability to go on the show, and normally, it really takes a lot of luck to have a strong, plus good team with good character to win the game. But it's different for Survivor. Usually, it's the more deserving player who wins, and that makes people happy.

Today, I got to see how people can stand up for their rights to protect a stranger they've barely known for two weeks. People clearly know what's right or what's wrong. And I'm just shocked that while I know from the many scenes and screentime that Varner may not be the nicest person, he is willing to throw people under the bus just to stay alive. Three times, and three times non-jury. The third game, he's finally memorable. I think some people are just meant to play Survivor, while some people are just not. Varner puts in way too much emotions into these game and he's never ever going to win this game, even if you give him a million chances.

Thank God for Jeff for standing up for Zeke and putting Varner in his place as well. And I am so thankful that Sarah, Andrea, Debbie and Tai spoke up for Zeke. Notice that Ozzy has been quiet (maybe it was edited away...??). And the irony that Zeke was the one to tell Varner that it's all going to be okay.

Why isn't this episode titled Metamorphosis?

Why isn't this episode titled Metamorphosis?

They didn't want to spoil the IC puzzle

Huh? They already spoiled it for us all right at the start when they revealed the puzzle at the challenge introduction?

You mean spoil the IC puzzle for the Survivors? How is that even possible if they don't watch the episode until almost one year later?
