Why do I have the urge to get the clippers out for those eyebrows? Bye Andy!
TL, you typed 8:33 when you meant 8:22 ET.

BAD FINGERS!! SMACK!! I'm so sorry!
"Don't dude me, dude."
:lol3:
Teams must give all their money that have to the orphans (clearly highlighted to showw how many teams are going to forget).
^ So of course I like them.
Okay, did Bill and Cathi miss the sign too? My feed is lagging like mad for me. :(

I think they did because there was a shot of the sign after they gave their money... But it's not made clear.

I don't remember. But I guess we'll find out soon.
Ethan & Jenna now in last. Find their clue.
Andy & Tommy
You are team number 1....
You win a razor. Now Shave!!!!!
ANDY AND TOMMY ARE FIRST? I HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :meow: :meow: :meow: :meow: :meow: :meow:why
AS much as I like Ethan & Jenna (and I really do, they are one of the few former reality people I don't mind seeing) I am glad they were eliminated.
NExt time on TAR; Cindy breaks down, and Cathi fails down, once, twice three times a lady.
Oh and we have elephants.
Armani and Marcus >>> JennaI like Ethan & Jenna. But between survivor how many hors have we got to know them a little. Quite a few.
I like ETHAN!
Omg 2 teams I didn't like that much went home! :hrt: :hearts:
To be fair, I'm sure everyone thought Kaylani and Lisa should be gone this leg.. RIGHT? Nobody expected them to survive and even come in third!!!!11Actually I was sure it would be Ron & Bill and Bill & Cathi. I would have bet real money. I pick Kaylani & Lisa to go in the next two legs.
This. Is. A. Crazy. Leg. MY GOD. Whoever is updating Wikipedia good luck!Andy & Tommy were 4th at the orphanage I think. Kaylani & Lisa are very lucky. Ron & Bill still would be going home, and I think push came to shove, Ethan & Jenna would have gained ground on them in the long walk both ways.
THIS FEELS LIKE THE AMAZING RACE ASIA FOR ONCE!
Only 3 teams didn't make a mistake and they're the teams from the back. Like... OMG.

Why the Andy & Tommy hate, Joab. Just because their guys?
I like them. So far. They have been nice to others on the race, have a sense of humor, nice to each other. And so far the tasks haven't been designed to be easier for two guys racing.
And so far they aren't a BJ & Tyler over the top annoyance.
I think I will jump and up and down in glee if Bill & Cathi manage to survive this leg.
15,000 Rupiah parking for one Detour.
Go to Orphanage and hand over all their money in their possession? WTF. TAR IS EVIL.
Until Leg 2
No classic clue box can be seen OMG :ascared
Pure spec: Final Task?

It does seem as though they never try to create a hard Speed Bump, but IMO, Gallory's Speed Bump would have been harder for other, Gary-less teams. :) He made everything look easy. :js:
I missed this leg so I had to rely on Wikipedia and I AM IN TOTAL SHOCK! KAYLANI AND LISA ARE TEAM NUMBER 3!!! OH MY GAWD!!! Sorry, just got quite excited there. :)
If Bill & Cathi would have read the sign, they would have made a comeback that only Derek & Drew have done.
Bill and Cathi - SPEEDBUMP!SpeedBumps have no purpose except to use an approximate amount of time. I am going to guess it took Bill/Cathi about 10 to 15 minutes to untangle enough rope to string it to that tree.
WTF? Their Speedbump is to untangle rope? THAT IS STUPID. WTF.
Until Leg 2very interesting and very possible.

Jet and Cord did in TAR 16. :)
Why... why isn't anybody complaining about the really ridiculous Speedbump which Bill and Cathi has to do. This beat the noodle making one the poker girls had to do because it was ridiculously pointless and took like less than 5 minutes? WTF.
I mean, why bother to put a Speedbump to "scare" the team who come in last if recent Speedbumps has been this easy. I know I've once complained that a Speedbump should be a task which does not require travelling (waste time).. but at least 15 to 30 minutes to complete considering how fast the team will take to complete the task.
The one in TAR 13 (Ken and Tina delivering water to people on the streets of India, Christie and Jodi painting the elephant in India, Kent and Vyxsin's yoga (IN INDIA TOO?)... really wasted too much time just on travelling alone.. although the task was really easy and AT LEAST was interesting and had some links to the culture and tradition of the country.
Can anyone please tell me, recent speedbumps like the one Gallory had to do last season as well as this rope speedbump... what's the point?? It's just pointless! :duno:
In hindsight, since the 15,000/30,000 Rupiah donated to the orphanage is worth only about US$1.70/$3.40, perhaps the racers should have been more suspicious about this task. I wonder if the racers were given an extra generous amount of money at the start of this leg of the race so they'd have more in their pockets when they got to Indonesia.
I don't feel the need to complain about the speedbump but I do want to complain about wasting precious air time for a pointless argument between Justin and Jennifer when they could have used that time to show us an extra task, that we only learned about from interviews.
Once Phil informed teams that they had to return to the orphanage, why didn't any of the teams drop their backpacks with Phil before retracing their steps? :duno:
Oh I almost forgot, did anyone else notice the imposter doing Phil's voiceover at one point?! Phil must have had a cold one day..

Really? Can you give a time stamp please?

I should have worded it better. No other team has made as big of a climb as Derek & Drew- 11th to 1st.
This is a bit of a side note. All through the first episode was thinking Ethan & Jenna had a Hope & Norm vibe going on. It turns out they both have the same average placing.

You are entitled to your opinion, but they and Ron/Bill were subject to unshown but revealed now that they are out information on how the poor taxi drivers usually reserved for the final leg ended up with them. Ethan/Jenna had the capability to do far better in AR19, but they were tragically unlucky.
Speaking of staged moments, I have a hard time believing the dude who found the lost passport at the gas station came up with the idea of taking it to the airport all on his own. And once he got there, how'd he know which terminal to go to? (LAX has 6 huge terminals.) No sir, someone from the TAR crew told him where to go if he wanted to be on TV and get a hug from a showgirl. I suppose you could argue that this being a non-elimination leg, the crew needed to find a way to get the showgirls to Taipei in time to run the leg and not throw the whole schedule off by a day. Be that as it may, it's still pretty obvious that strings were pulled in Kaylani & Lisa's favor.
(You've got to love how the showgirls say they want to shatter stereotypes about how dumb they are, and then proceed to drop a passport almost immediately. They did make a nice recovery in Ep. 2, but one has to hope there won't be another deus ex machina the next time they screw up, particularly if they're on an elimination leg.)
ey could come up with. If that's the case, I really hope they can drum up something more compelling, and quick.mrmando,
