'American Idol 5' winner Taylor Hicks' first single to debut at No. 1

The fifth "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks' single "Do I Make You Proud" will debut on the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
The Alabama native sold 190,000 physical singles and another 38,000 digital downloads, Billboard.com reported Wednesday.
Three previous "Idol" winners have also held the top spot on the Hot 100 chart. Carrie Underwood with "Inside Your Heaven", Fantasia Barrino with "I Believe," and Kelly Clarkson with "A Moment Like This."
