I agree that the beach shot is Mauritius. 

Here is a GE image of the Mauritius hotel that we know had the Kayak Roadblock. 

I drew a line that represents the direction from the setting sun on June 12 , 2006.

  I think that it closely matches the diection we see in the promo shot.
