Boingo:
Did some checking, and Choijin is only one block south of the main square in the middle of UB.  Bogd Khaan is said to be approx. 2 km south, closer to the mountains on UB's south side.  I suspect anyone looking on Google Earth try the southern part of UB, as the pix of Phil & greeter may be looking "south".  Just a guess.

Based on this street map (best I could find), I've attached the kmz for the winter palace; south of town but still in the flatlands.
