--- Quote from: mwooden on October 16, 2006, 02:24:01 PM ---I'm with Puddin on the Charla love -- my daughter has the same form of dwarfism as Charla and was born the same summer that season aired, so that was very cool for us.
Although I would have loved to see Charla paired with a competent partner -- I could say the same for Sarah this time around. Sarah/Charla - now THAT would be a team.
Bring on All-Stars!

Oh I bets your daughter is just adorable mwooden ! I'm not a dwarf but I never hit 5' tall ..been stuck at 4'11 since I was 13yrs old and if I had to live my life all over again I would not wish to be any taller than I am ..petite is sweet and us short people have to stick together :hugs:

Yeah, I don't know how I fell about it.
1. I have been curious to see it.
2. But I also dread it.
3. Choice.
Dou you go with the teams that are the best racers?
Do you go with the teams that won (usually good racers, but not usually the best of their season)?
Or do you go with characters?
Based on the choice of Mirna and Charla I would say characters (though they were a good team in season 5, they weren't the best). The above Colin and Christy were an overall better team as was Brandon & Nicole. But tehy were better characters (at least Charla, I hated Mirna with a fiery passion).
Because personally I wouldn't pick anyone that didn't make final four, no matter how much I liked tehm. Nor would I pick teams that hit multiple non eliminations (sorry Flo and Zach, BJ & Tyler), they already had their second chance and their third for that matter.
Of course there are teams I think desire a chance at all stars, that might not be interested (for any number of various reasons).

Usually by now they would have the applications up as well as casting calls going on or that have happened...that might be a sign that TAR11 will be an AS...
which I am not really looking forward to since I believe some of the greatness of TAR is the new people and experiences they share - not to mention there are some teams that I really just don't want to see on my TV again!! (:;)
Texan:
One thing that will be intreresting if they do all stars . .. is the new rule about how many road blocks each can do. Some of the good teams 1 partner did the majority or all of the raodblaocks. now that their partner would have to do some I think it might be a BIG factor. do nto get me wrong the teams were tough, but do you think christy would have done the rope wall the same speed as Colin?
Will be interesting to see how they pick teams. Maybe they shoudl make them all remas of 4 so the families can participate. They would pair up 2 teams from each season.
puddin:
