I beg to differ with Chip. The All-star race isn't about who's popular. It's about the balance of the cast. You can't have all popular teams in the race. You'll have a situation where you don't know who to root for! The producers will want a mix of popular teams, controversial teams and sacrificial lambs, and rightly so.
And speaking of popularity, it is a subjective term. I think that Chip may be referring to teams like Romber and Colin/Christie. But actually, they were my favorites in their seasons. I didn't quite like Chip's team in his season though. :)

I checked the flights to UIO from MIA and it looks like the two direct flights are almost only about 1 hour apart... and BOTH are AA flights.
They usually only give flights that are a little over 1 hour apart right?

I doubt that Chip is referring to the teams that you mention because they are both on his extended wishlist.
