Slowhatch:
The NBC site puts the lexington mine (there's several with that name) in Butte, and the photos do match the ones provided to Magical Elves prod. (history in the middle of the page here--Montana Tech is now using it for their students). The distances stay about the same, but you're right the times are off. If the first-place team got there at 5:30 and the Hanlons spent 11 hours at the mine, they must have used a transporter to get to Wood Bottom.

Before making a difficult trek across a swamp, the teams at the back of the pack consider losing some extra baggage: their fellow teammates.
The teams at the back of the pack must decide whether to leave a teammate behind in order to finish the treacherous swamp section and avoid elimination.

Therefore we know that the pesky preacher and his kinfolk will still be in the race on July 17. Dag gang I thought we would lose them earlier in Boston perhaps.  No such luck.

If the postings over at Sucks are accurate, Global TV in Canada messed up and aired ep 5 tonight; the Hanlons are out.
