Tyler did not go to Stanford. http://www.stanfordalumni.org/news/magazine/1999/marapr/articles/admission.html

The beach Boys at least have jobs, what exactly is BJ and Tyler's careers?

Ray & Yolanda can keep up, they were actually at least 20 minutes behind starting the roadblock and were almost even during the detour.  If you have tivo freeze the picture when Eric & Jeremy place their Buddha on the stand you can see Ray & Yolanda's is also almost finished.  When the boys leave they then show Ray & Yolanda further behind, but I don't think they were.

What a dilemma...who to vote for.. ???  gonna give this some serious thought..

Pedaler:
My number one desire is for the finale to be as exciting at the end as the last two races.  Who didn't enjoy Rob/Amber and Uchenna/Joyce battling it out at the end or Nick Linz and Wally solving the jigsaw puzzle at the same time right before the finish mat? I don't want to see any phony editing to make the finish appear to be close like in TAR6.  Hopefully, at least the top two teams will be on the same flight to Denver.

Even though I like Ray & Yolanda, I would like to see them come in third.  They are by far poorer racers than the other two teams.   (For their sake, I hope they are good beggars.  If they come in third in Japan as suspected, they are going to need a sizable amount of money to take a taxi from the Denver airport to Golden and then to Red Rocks.)

The other two teams have demonstrated that they are good racers.  BJ & Tyler have caught a few lucky breaks but overall they have shown race skills.

If BJ & Tyler and Eric & Jeremy get to Denver on the same flight, I think Eric & Jeremy have the advantage.  I looked at the previous legs where both teams were at the same place toward the end of the leg, then did the same roadblock and/or detour, and compared their finishes.

In Sao Paolo, both teams were at the Rotor Head detour: E&J finished ahead.

In Brotas, both teams were on the same charter bus and then both did the Climb It detour: BJ&T finished ahead.

In Germany, both teams were at the Mercedes Benz factory and then both found the Gnome and did the Break it detour:  E&J finished ahead.

In Italy, both were at the Roman ruins and then did the Big Fish detour and completed the Kayak Pole detour:  E&J finished ahead.

In Australia, both were on the road to the final pit stop: E&J finished ahead.

Based on the above, My Picks:

1)  Eric & Jeremy
2)  B.J. & Tyler
3)  Ray & Yolanda
