EP10 title: ' Man, They Should Have Used Their Fake Names '

<< < (43/53) > >>

teeliner:
I see somebody brought over those comments from BJ's myspace.  I'd been watching them for a couple of days but wasn't sure what to make of them.  They make me nervous but I'm hoping it's a joke or decoy information.  They have to be very aware those sites are being watched and BJ seems to log on every day.  And wouldn't telling someone you were going to be on TES be divulging information on the outcome and a violation of the rules? These guys aren't dummies.

woden:
Wow, where'd those videos come from? That cracks some stuff wide open.

Re: the thought about 3 teams racing for first place -- the way MO is talking ("I don't know if I can outrun the hippies"), I think they're racing to avoid last place. If they were racing for first, she'd say "I don't know if I can outrun Eric & Jeremy." I also don't think the CBS webclue people are clever enough to give any misdirection.

woden:
Here's an updated schedule spec with the new info from videos -- they told us a lot! The one big question left is whether RaYo are in 1st or last. I'm guessing 1st for the reason above, and because of the fact that the didjeridoo task must have been WAY faster than the swimming task. Otherwise, there is no way MoJo could possibly make up the time they lost on BJT -- about 2 hours -- unless BJT got hopelessly lost somewhere along the way.

EPISODE 10 – 5/3/06
START: Perth/Rottnest, Australia (November 23/24, 2005)
ERIC & JEREMY depart pit stop between 11:30pm & midnight on 11/23
JOSEPH & MONICA depart pit stop between 11:30pm & midnight on 11/23
BJ & TYLER depart pit stop between midnight and 12:30am on 11/24
RAY & YOLANDA depart pit stop between 1:00 and 1:30am on 11/24
TEAMS bunched at Swan Bells Tower (might wait until 10am)
We now have video of RaYo sitting outside Swan Bells Tower
Eric, Jeremy, & Joseph cancel teams' cabs that will take them from tower to the airport
TEAMS make way to Perth Airport (daytime shots in cabs)
E&J, MoJo presumably arrive first, but teams are likely bunched anyway on the plane
TEAMS fly to Darwin (on either 10:35 or 12:20 flight)
TEAMS arrive in Darwin (between 4:00 and 8:00pm)
TEAMS proceed to SkyCity Hotel/Casino (between 4:30 and 8:30pm)
TEAMS proceed to Croc Park and are bunched until it opens in the morning (9:00am according to
park website - ?)
TEAMS choose numbers and wait turn
TEAMS start at Croc Park and wade through croc waters to retrieve clue from other side of cage
YIELD is probably not here since teams are bunched at the start of task
ORDER OF TEAMS: unknown, maybe 1. BJT, 2. MoJo, 3. E&J, 4. RaYo
TEAMS depart between 9:30 and 10:30am?
   CAUTION: yield ahead?
TEAMS proceed to ROADBLOCK – skydiving
If at Skydive Territory, about an 80-minute drive
TEAMS arrive between 10:45 and 11:45am, if no one gets lost(?)
YIELD here?
BJT & MoJo arrive at same time, 1st & 2nd
   BJT yield MoJo
BJ, ERIC, RAY, and MONICA do the task for their respective teams, maybe in this order
Teams spread out 30 min from each other at this point at least
FIRST TEAM (BJT) departs around 11:30am after instructions & dive?
   SECOND TEAM departs around 12:15pm?
   THIRD TEAM departs around 1:00pm?
FOURTH TEAM (MoJo) departs around 1:45pm after hour-long yield and waiting for other
TEAMS to dive?
   ORDER OF TEAMS: 1. BJT, 2. E&J, 3. RaYo, 4. MoJo (2 & 3 could be switched)
TEAMS proceed to unknown location?
YIELD probably not here – if there IS another location, there will be no task
Often is at least one location we haven’t seen in previews
Usually is a location between a detour and a roadblock, yeah?
We might need another location to make up time between the yielded team and the
others for the 3-team footrace – doesn’t seem like the detour alone would do it…
   ORDER OF TEAMS: unknown
TEAMS proceed to Litchfield National Park
YIELD probably not here – too late in the leg for someone to be yielded & catch up
DETOUR: Didjeridoo or swimming with spiders
   BJT & E&J choose swimming
   Rayo & MoJo choose didjeridoo
ORDER OF TEAMS: unknown, all teams perform task in daylight (before 6:30pm)
MoJo performing task around 2:30pm (according to Joseph's watch)
Didjeridoo teams finish first
Ray & Yo finish first and head to pit stop
MoJo makes up time with quick task and heads to pit stop
E&J & BJT finish and head to pit stop
MoJo gets lost (on video, they are frustrated by how obvious the sign was) & E&J, BJT
catch up
TEAMS proceed to pit stop
Three teams race to finish, one further ahead
   ORDER OF TEAMS: 1. RaYo, 2. E&J, 3. MoJo, 4. BJT
   Non-elimination leg
FINISH: Lake Bennett, Australia (November 25, 2005)

mcalpine9:
If it comes to a foot race - why do people think that Mojo will outrun the Hippies?

If the Hippies beat Mojo - and we know Mojo don't get mugged (unless they buy backpacks) - it means that Ray and Yolanda are last.

--- End quote ---

Looks good to me; now I can go out and mow the lawn with nothing else left to do luntil game time tonight at 8PM!

Absolutely NO mention of any "castoff" racer on TES tomorrow; just more CSI promos.

One last note:  all this to do about cancelled cabs and it will have absolutely no effect on the outcome of the episode since all teams are going to bunch up at the Perth Airport.

And, can anyone make out the last word of "Perth Sightseeing (xxxx)....." the location of the phone booths.  Remember that the teams start off in Fremantle at the Sailing Club and these shots of the phone booths are in Perth at 7:30AM  so perhaps the clue they get at the beginning of the ep tells them to come here for the next clue which will take them to the bell tower.
