PREVIOUSLY ON .. THE AMAZING RACE:

Phil: Seven teams left Italy, drove across Sicily. In Catania, Fran/Barry panicked in a gridlock. Eric/Jeremy and BJ/Tyler surged ahead with 35-pound swordfish, while Monica broke down. On the Roadblock, Lake taunted Michele. Then, Dave/Lori bickered and quickly made amends. But their support for each other couldn't save them from elimination.

Six teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

Phil: This is Siracusa, Italy. Founded by Greeks in 734BC it was once the most powerful city in the Mediterranean. Will Lake/Michelle's emotions continue to boil over? Will BJ/Tyler's carefree ways keep them in front?

10:33 pm, E/J, CLUE: Take a train to Rome.
Phil: At the Trevi Fountain, they'll search for the man with the yellow/red scooter for the next clue.

BJ/Tyler, time covered by the closed captioning. Oops!

Then, Joseph/Monica.

Fran/Barry, 11:53 pm.

Train station isn't open until ... 4 AM.
First train leaves 8 am.
EQUALIZER!

Lake/Michele 12:17 am.
Michele: Let's go, babe. The 8 am train to Rome.
Now, how did she know and the others didnt?

Did Lake just call Michele a bitch? 

Teams arrive one by one to find the equalizer.

Ray/Yo, 1:02 am, CLUE: Yeah, we rollin! We have to play the game from bottom up, take out one team at a time.

The teams arrive.
Ray: We haven't seen you guys in so long!

Phil: All teams now traveling by train and ferry to ROME.

In ROME ...

Teams get off the train and head for the metro.
Underground, asking directions.
Some teams take taxis.
Fran: M. Metro.
No ****? 

Ray/Yo get their Metro directions, apparently in last.

First to see scooter man, E/J, CLUE: Keep everything with you.
Phil: Teams must make their way less thana mile for the horse carriages at the Spanish Steps. In the spirit of the DaVinci Code, teams have been given one part of the Vetruvian Man. They have to crack the code at the pitstop for a prize.

Monica: I've wanted to come here (Trevi) my entire life!
They're in 2nd.

Bj/Tyler and Fran/Barry see the sign "Fontana di Trevi."
BJ/T 3rd, Lake/Michelle4th, Fran/Barry 5th. Ray/Yo 6th.

E/J, CLUE: Fly to Athens.
Phil: Here in the heart of the city, on the grounds of this old marketplace, the next clue.
They've got another piece to "try and crack the code."
They've done it!
First team to the pitstop with the solution wins a prize.

Joe/Moni get the clue in 2nd, head for the airport.
Bj/Tyler, Fran/Barry and Lake/Michelle next.
Ray/Yo haven't made it to the horse carriages yet.
Finally they arrive at the steps and head for the airport.
