Phil: Sicily, an island off Italy. In the NW corner, Segesta, a city destroyed by the Vandals 2,300 years ago. This stately temple was the 5th pitstop.
Can Lake/Michelle control their bickering?
Will Ray/Yo capitalize on how well they work together?
3:29 am, BJ/Tyler, CLUE: Drive to the city of Catalina.
(Dolt, it's CATANIA.)
Phil: Among the ruins of this amphitheater, the next clue.
(Later, they said "Catina", then "Cantina.")
Eric/Jeremy, 4:11 am, also can't pronounce anything correctly.
Joseph/Monica, 5:00 am, can't pronounce anything ...
I think I see a pattern forming here.
Joseph: I can't believe these countries. Stopping someone at 5 am? No way I'd stop in the US!
5:18 am, Fran/Barry get like $63 or summat for this leg of the race.
What's that goofy miner thingy she has on her head!?
The hippies ask directions, and get a taxista to show them where to drive.
They park.
Anliteatro ... Not open until 8:30!!
They sign the official sign-up roster.
They sleep.

6 am, Lake/Michelle miscount their $63.
Lake: I need another hour of sleep. Sleep deprivation is starting to get to me.
Michelle: Get over it!
It's daylight now.
Dave/Lori, 6:25 am.
Ray/Yo, 6:34 am. A local shows them where to drive.
In CATANIA ...
We got us some shops, birds and a town square.
Eric/Jeremy sign in.
List says "teams will go in order."
Did Tyler/BJ make the list, E/J ask?
Joseph/Monica follow a local to the teatro.
Fran/Barry show up in some narrow-streeted town, and it looks like they're shocker!! lost.
Finally the joint opens.
E/J, then BJ/Tyler, CLUE:
Count the heads on the fenceposts surrounding the theatre grounds.
Phil: If they tell the grounds keeper the correct total, he'll hand them the next CLUE.

I was right they have to carry the big fish to a fish market !!! :jumpy:

E/J finish the counting first.
DETOUR: Big fish, or little fish?
Big: Teams make their way on foot to a street vendor, pick up a 32 pound sword fish, then navigate through maze of streets to a particular fish market, find a local vendor for the next clue.
Little: Make your way on foot to that same market, sell 4 kilos of a small fish called "Trilia."
E/J choose big fish.
Meanwhile, driving, Fran/Barry lost, "going around in circles."
Barry: I can't believe we did this! We're totally screwed!
Fran: Make a right. Get out of town and come back the other way.
Barry, honking horn in anger: A total disaster.
