Have you ever seen your season's matrix?
The matrix can show where one decision can make a huge difference. For example, your decision in Charleston to go shrimping allowed you to go from next to last at the Gazebo to getting on the first bus to Huntsville. Which then led you to win the free gas and staying in the upper echelon of teams for the next few legs (until your debacle in Phoenix :groan:)

Hmmmm. In the color coded chart for TAR8, the winning team was orange (Linz) and the second place team was grey (Branson). For the TAR9 chart, BJ/Tyler are team orange and Eric/Jeremy are team grey.

Wally, sorry about the highjack. As we come down to the final leg, can you recall how you felt during the pitstop in Montana before your final leg?

We were pretty nervous. When you are told that you are in the final three the realization hits you that the money is right there before you - up until then we really didn't think about it much. We had a 36-hour pit stop (probably to give production time to set up for the finale) where we had to stay at the ranch with nothing to do - so that helped to keep you on edge.
