Over at Google Video, TAR has been credited so far to "amazing race productions." But the Ep 6 preview is credited to "Bellisarius productions/Paramount." I'm not sure if that means anything or it's just a typo.

The entire promo at end of Survivor tonight was to plug the change in day and time. Starting next week TAR will be on WEDNESDAY at 8:00PM. Softer competition at the new hour, and may pull in people (very young and very old) who find the 10:00PM hour too late to watch.
We have the hotel down to a gnat's wisker. Bingo Boingo!! But this is location of the rest period (eat and sleep and hot showers!) Actual pit stop may be on the mat in front of the Castello Maniace at the end of Isola di Ortigia or even the Duomo, but I think that the castle is more isolated and a place at which it would be easier to control crowds.
The question remains: how do the teams travel from Segesta to Catania? Do they go direct or through somewhere else such as Agrigento?
Driving it would take about 3 and a half hours to cover the approximate 200 miles via A29 to Palermo and A19 across the island to Catania. And if the last team arrived (Raylanda) at about 7:00PM, they would have a hard time getting to the fish market in Catania while it was still open (5AM to 11AM).
A bus wouldn't be much faster since they would have to drive to the bus station in Palermo first. Does anyone know the SIAS bus schedulre?
Another possibility (and TPTB have often done this) is to have one or two or three CHARTER flights from the airport in Palermo or in Trapani leaving at 7, 7:30 and 8; this would be a nice time to bunch up the teams again since the leaders are getting further and further ahead something TPTB do not condone!!!

I'm just putting up this other picture of the water polo area. It's a different angle pointing towards where Tyler is standing (almost). You can just see all the way left and below the little red car that there are steps down to the water. You can see these steps to the left of Tyler. Also Eric's shot may have been taken from the steps since it is an upshot of him.

Wanna bet they'll make E/J look like choir boys? Is the change in time a coincidence that the double D's are no longer there for the some possible hanky panky between them? :smooch:
