Hey, I'm new to the Amazing Race as I just decided to start watching from the beginning of this season. So I just have a quick question about the roadblock/detour rules. I was wondering if a detour could be before a roadblock during the race. I'm asking this because in the preview for next week's episode, Dave and Lori are looking for a clue in the laundry with the Ds and LM. And then they show Dave and Lori having trouble doing the roadblock which is building the statue. So essentially I was just wondering if the Detour where they are all together is before or after the roadblock where Dave and Lori are having trouble. Thanks

Hi akumar, There is no rule that I know of that makes RBs before or after Detours.

ok thanks for the info. Now do any of expect DL to be eliminated next week? If not...why?

Hmmm...the way the third clue is written makes me think that either BJ/Tyler or Eric/Jeremy can't find the roadblock. It says give up their position in the race and that makes me think that they are losing ground to the other teams. Both groups haven't come across any problems yet to this point and with the way they have cruised through the first 3 legs without problems makes me think they are more prone to make a huge mistake.
