you make ethanol from sugarcane. Volkswagen TotalFlex Golf can run with ethanol fuel or gasoline. Brazil uses ethanol a lot.
Maybe this car use ethanol and Monica/Joseph are testing the car. Their car is different from the Golf. Hmm!
Most likely, this is the 2nd leg of Brazil. Brazil has 2 legs. There's no Roadblock in the 1st episode. Since there's a Roadblock in Brazil, so it has to be episode 2.

I still think this all happens in EP1 , day 2 detour Brotas or Fuel ? We cant rule out a roadblock in EP 1 theres no law against it right ? and if and only if that scene if Mo-Jo riding in a Flexcar is from EP2 why show us in EP1 ?
but seeing as the Race starts on the 7th I suppose Phil could make it to " somewhere near the Middle East " as reported on Nov 11th ? if there are 2 legs in Brazil ??? if Phil flys right out of Brazil on the 11th . nevermind :angel:
