Slowhatch:
They might be entering from the St. Jacques kiosk.
(Still don't know what they might be doing there. As I mentioned before, it's not a hub or intersection, and the area surrounding the station looks like a dull metro high-rise section)

--- Quote from: Slowhatch on December 07, 2005, 08:16:32 PM ---If it is the Niagara gorge, then the bridge might be the Rainbow bridge, and the local tour operator uses jump-sheep (saute-moutons) boats as well (see the photo gallery), then we may have to rethink the Montreal stuff.

I'm just catching up but you nailed it. I took a trip to the region about a year ago and have lots of pics of the rainbow bridge. We even looked into doing that very tour. From the the photo gallery:
cinni:
montreal has a large set of inner connecting tunnels. when i would be there on business, i used to be able to get from my hotel to windsor station without going outside on the really cold days. there's a good chance that the victoria square is linked in as well and they may have to scamper around there for something too.
so excited to see places i actually know. we lived in toronto for years before we moved out west. and we visited the outlaws in montreal and i worked there occasionally. yahoo!

Oh good cinni we probably will have questions that you could helpl us out with !!

'Amazing' reality skein gets online finish line
By JOSEF ADALIAN, BEN FRITZ
The Amazing Race'
Next week's season finale of "The Amazing Race" won't actually be the finale.
In a first for the CBS reality skeinskein, the "Race" will continue online after the action ends on TV. That's because producers taped a runner-up challenge in which the second- and third-place teams competed to win a new car.
Rather than air the bonus segseg on-air, however, CBS designed the challenge to be an Internet exclusive. As a result, the so-called "mini-race" will be featured exclusively on the Eye's Web site, CBS.com.
The six-minute seg will be available for streaming immediately after the West Coast broadcast of the "Race" finale wraps at 11 p.m. Dec. 13.
It's not the only Eye content going digital.

Amazing Race finish line in T.O.?
By STEVE TILLEY -- Toronto Sun
The Bransens of Amazing Race: Family Edition. The team was spotted at Union Station.
The Amazing Race is heading for the finish line -- and it could be in Toronto.
In the two-hour season finale of The Amazing Race: Family Edition, airing next Tuesday at 9 p.m. on CTV and CBS, the Linz, Bransen and Weaver clans duke it out for the $1-million grand prize that goes to the family that finishes first.
But will that be in U.S. or Canadian dollars? CTV yesterday confirmed what the Sun reported in September: The Amazing Race is leaving the United States for what will be only the second time this season, and it appears the series' finish line could be here on Canuck soil.
The preview scenes for this Tuesday's finale, while not identifying the locations, shows the families jet-boating in the Niagara gorge, searching for clues in the bleachers at Montreal's Olympic Stadium and racing through Pearson International Airport, with a Greater Toronto Airports Authority shuttle clearly visible in one shot.
The preview also shows the families participating in the very Canuck pastime of curling, and doing a trapeze challenge at Montreal's National Circus School.
Sun reader Andrew Bagley recalled running into the Bransen and Weaver families in front of Toronto's Union Station on July 30, where a hotdog vendor gave them a clue that directed them to Polson Pier, aka the Docks.
"The women looked at me and said, 'We are on The Amazing Race, we need your help, do you know where Polson Pier is?' " said Bagley.
"Like a true Canadian, I replied, 'Did you say Molson or Polson?'
