Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure what the last half of your statement means, lol.

Thank you both for the update.  I was so upset...I had set the clock on my VCR at EXACTLY the correct time, just so this kind of thing wouldn't happen!  I taped another show immediately after "LOST" on another station, hence the early cut-off.
