EP9: 'How's that Face Feel?' Nov. 22

I can't believe they were here in Utah. I live in Salt Lake and go to Park City often. I am way excited to see this episode. The Utah Olympic Park is in Park City, right off of the highway I-80 so its not hard to find. Heber city is just down the highway I-40 from Park City, 20 minute drive tops. I would think if they were doing Mountain biking it would be in Moab. The rocks look like it. Rainbow bridge is also in Lake Powell but planes can actually fly through it so I do not think that is what they are rappelling from. There is a little rainbow bridge in Moab (called Corona Arch) but I was just there and I do not think that is it either. Sorry not much help with that one.

Welcome sarahbea {| ! You can really help us out with this one ..I look at the vidcaps and the landscape is all the same to me {l{.
Ottopart !! LOL, those CBS Webmonkeys are giving it away ^/^ ! The Branens probably are next , we have the betting spoiler and the 4 hot blonde & family spotted ..sounds like the Bransens are out ..thats why we thought they were history last night with either the Paolo's or Wevers as the " family" and all that resentment towards the Weavers is a good sign that they got alot farther than the other teams thought they deserved to ..

Good job Puddin. I was worried when I saw Rainbow had no little trees on top. =]/

Since Hot Air Ballooning is critical to light winds, I went ahead and checked the weather for Salt Lake City (closest to Park City) and Moab for the 24th and 25th.
Sunrise on the 24th was at 6:12. Sunrise on the the 25th was at 6:13am. The balloons would launch around that time or shortly after. No sooner though. It was too windy for balloons in Salt Lake City on the 24th and 25th. However Moab had ideal conditions until 9 am. The balloons at Moab look different, but they partner with Park City Balloons to fly in this area.
It is about a 6 hour drive from Moab to Park City.
